But yeah, great E3 so far. Ubisoft was disappointing me, as I was hoping for a new Rayman game, but they won me back with the afformentioned nerd chick and Ghost Recon WildWhateveritwascalled. Open world Ghost Recon sounds great. I actually thought it was Farcry at first and thinking "Wow this looks like an actual Far Cry sequel instead of the Upgraded Far Cry 3 that was Far Cry 4."

Horizon looks bitching. Like I said, never thought Killzone was bad, it just existed. Just a cliched FPS that played well enough, but was just mind numbingly uninteresting. This Horizon game though, is a great concept, and I already love the the style.

No Man's Sky is a game I've been anticipating for a long time. Looks great, but I hope you can turn off that weird filter.

Minecraft on the Microsoft Hololens blew my fucking mind. Have ben indifferent to all the VR stuff up til now but I am officially at full mast.

So far the biggest news in my opinion is Fallout 4 PC mods being downloadable to the Xbox One version, and I'm kind of shocked people here aren't making a bigger deal about it. That is fucking huge. That has been, for decades now, the biggest advantage PC gamers have had over the consoles. Mountains of new content, completely free of charge. Obviously there is a lot of it that is shit, but anyone who has dabbled in mods for popular games like Skyrim will tell you that there is an insane amount of genuinely great content as well. Far more then you will ever get as DLC.

Oh yeah, and FINAL FANTASY MOTHERFUCKING 7

Major Nelson from Microsoft revealed some details on how Xbox 360 backwards compatibility will work for the Xbox One.

Some details include current preview members get access to 21 games possible, saves and gamerscores carry over, and future games will be based on fan feedback to make it easier for them to do deals with publishers.

Games that required Kinect on the Xbox 360 won't be compatible though. Same for other games that required additional hardware (ex. Rock Band, Guitar Hero series I assume).

Digital-only games on the Xbox 360 are also supported in this plan.

Really hard to say. Everybody brought it this year. I really hope Nintendo doesn't underwhelm today.

Sony walked out and announced something I've waited 15 years for, something I've waited 10 for and something I've waited 3 years for. It is the single greatest E3 conference I've ever watched.

Cool to see Nintendo World Championships are back.

Nintendo in 25 minutes. Expecting Star Fox, new Animal Crossing and possibly new Paper Mario. Really hoping they've got more than that though.
