Don't count out the Braunacarana yet.

Dark One 03-20-2017 11:03 PM

"Lambasted" was probably on Cole's word of the day calendar.

Dark One 03-20-2017 11:06 PM

Braun should go in the Hall of Fame for getting a chin lock to look devastating and dangerous.

ClockShot 03-20-2017 11:11 PM

Droford 03-20-2017 11:11 PM

Looked like he was selling the fact that he turned his back on the spear.

Dark One 03-20-2017 11:12 PM

Gonna need you guys to stop making Braun a bitch.

KIRA 03-20-2017 11:12 PM

Taker needs to step into the 21st centery and get himself a life like projection the way Neville Nesse did.

Emperor Smeat 03-20-2017 11:12 PM

 Taker suddenly realizing he left himself open for the spear.

Or just got a visit by Papa Shango's Curse.

Dark One 03-20-2017 11:12 PM

Braun should beat both of them to death with the Wrestlemania sign.

RP 03-20-2017 11:12 PM

Hope this dont cut into Chrisley

Match went to a no contest after Taker's bell rang. Taker had a staring contest with Reigns for a while before chokeslaming Braun and then getting speared by Reigns. RAW ended with Taker doing his vintage sitting up routine.

Cool King 03-21-2017 04:45 PM

• A four minute long opening seems a bit much for an opening vignette. I also immediately felt like I had time traveled back to before the brand split when Raw was The Triple H & Stephanie Show.

• Charlotte/Dana was cool. Cool in that Dana had a good showing, but it still doesn't make her look that good when you lose a match after taking only two moves.

She pretty much dominated the match but at the end all Charlotte did was knee her in the gut and then boot her in the face and Dana was done.

• It's crazy to think that at one point in history Kevin Owens wasn't fat. Cool segment though but is it just me or is Owens gaining weight?

When he attacked Jericho, he looked much fatter than usual. Especially in his face.

• Kendrick gets a minute and a half long match.

Why?

• Nia is in at WrestleMania.

Called that about two months ago.

• Gallows & Anderson taking out their tag team partners just made them look like morons.

What made them look even worse is that they went on to lose a thirty second match.

• I can't help but think that that New Day segment was moved to the backstage area at the last second.

• When Aries can't even get Brooklyn to make some noise for him, then you just know the Crusierweight division is fucked and that hardly anyone cares about it.

• Undertaker really looked like an old man and it still looks like Strowman is going to be relegated to the Andre The Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania.

• Raw seemed like it was mostly vignettes this week. Really loooong vignettes.

I still feel like we're back to Raw being The Triple H & Stephanie Show though.

Big Vic 03-21-2017 04:53 PM

Remember when HHH (kayfabe) hated Daniel Bryan because he didn't look like a champion?

Cool King 03-21-2017 04:58 PM

Yeah, I don't get how Daniel Bryan doesn't look like a champion but Kevin Owens does.

Cool King 03-21-2017 04:58 PM

Triple H must really love his fatties.

Ol Dirty Dastard 03-21-2017 05:07 PM

(kayfabe) being the operative term.

I'd be interested to see HHH's prototype champion once Vince is gone. Then the truth will be out.

Emperor Smeat 03-21-2017 05:25 PM

If I had to guess, Triple H's ideal champ is probably someone like Finn or Rollins but probably also anyone that can fit his classic NWA mentality for big stardom. He likes bodybuilders based on NXT class batches but doesn't have the same overbearing big man and/or overly muscular fetish Vince has for his ideal champs and mega pushes if NXT is any indication.

XL 03-21-2017 05:50 PM

Those were the first 2 names that came to mind (Finn, Rollins)

Ol Dirty Dastard 03-21-2017 06:01 PM

Rollins reminds me a lot of HHH. Obviously a lot quicker and dynamic in the ring, but somewhat of a charisma vacuum and even when he finds his groove on the mic it won't be particularly great. I can envision many shitty 20 minute promos referencing "THIS BUSINESS" and about how he is "THIS BUSINESS".

#1-norm-fan 03-21-2017 06:06 PM

Will he tell us "the thing"? I mean... I know "the thing" is this. Here's "the thing". But will he actually tell us what "the thing" is? If so, he's got a leg up on Triple H.

Ol Dirty Dastard 03-21-2017 06:07 PM

lol Rollin's use of "dude" in his promo with Corey Graves was almost as bad as "This business" and "the thing".

Emperor Smeat 03-21-2017 07:28 PM

This week managed to break the record for least viewed show since 1997 when not counting sports or holidays.

1 more week before it becomes official this year's Road to Mania sets a new all-time low record for the WWE since the Attitude Era.

What's bad is that leading up to WrestleMania, and before the NBA playoffs, ratings are often at their highest marks of the year ...

The three hours were:

8 p.m. 3.16 million viewers
9 p.m. 3.12 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.87 million viewers

Sweet. Smackdown got a chance tonight.

EVERYBODY BETTER WATCH!.......................OR ELSE!

Wasn't that the episode of Raw where Shawn Michaels "lost his smile"?

Emperor Smeat 03-21-2017 07:50 PM

That was actually from this year in regards to the previous record low.

The HBK "lost my smile" episode wasn't the lowest for 1997.

Cool King 03-21-2017 08:05 PM

Ah, well I read that wrong then.

XL 03-22-2017 01:44 AM

That's not the Feb 13th the note refers to.
