Best Friends isn't much better.
They keep telling people they are pushing tag team wrestling, but they should actually show it.
It’s that referee who cried during D Bry’s retirement speech.
If Chris Jericho weighs 225 pounds then Bobby Lashley weighs about 460.
I think Im going to try to go to Full Gear AND the first TNT show.
Let's gooooooooooooooo!
Evil Uno looks fucking shit.
Love that Aubrey is the ref, she is good

Lots of giving spots away in this match. Crowd clearly does not give a shit.

Thinking about skipping to shit I actually care about, but I kind of want to experience this like someone tuning in randomly and just having to stick with it.

JR working hard to try and polish this turd up.

This match is building like Page is winning it
I feel like Page and Cena would work well together
crowd doesn't seem to care about Page (neither do I tbh)
hopefully Jericho wins, Page doesn't seem "ready" to be the champ yet
Page's family being there in the front row makes me think he's winning.

wish WALTER was in AEW
Like the Last Man Standing match at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, Page vs. Jericho has been better than I was expecting soo far.
Really excited to see Riho vs. Hikaru Shida.
Pacing starting to get weird
Nyla Rose is getting a Women's Title shot before she wrestles a one-on-one match in the company.
For what it's worth, WWE always seems to have loved ones front row when someone is scheduled to win the big one. They just don't usually show the family so as to not make it a giveaway. But like at Takeover 25, everyone sitting around me noticed Britt Baker was sitting front row center which felt like an unintentional tip off of a Cole win.
But AEW actually pointed out Page's family being there so who knows. |
Page is lucky he didn't blow out his knee with that moonsault to the outside.
The actual Women's Championship belt is pretty.

Women's wrestling is another thing that AEW pimps as being emphasized, but there's no difference between this match and a WWE match.
Jericho was the right call
This match is losing the crowd. Reminds me of Emma vs. Asuka.
In b4 WWE fanboys laugh about a near 50 year old WWE guy being the first AEW champ
The right man def won
Page vs Jericho was pretty good overall. Ladder match should have gone last but makes sense why they stuck with this match instead due to significance of crowing the first ever AEW champ.
All Out was great overall. |

Very good show. Not quite as good as Double or Nothing, but still extremely watchable and worth the money.
Lots of "misjudgements" on this show. They've got their match in mind and they go out there and do the match they had planned, regardless of whether or not it gets over.
There's no way with three disappointing matches in a row that this is better than any Takeover I've seen.
I said it already today, but Jericho was the only choice.
He is the biggest name they have, his character can the with anybody, and Page just isn't a top guy yet. In the pecking order, he is like the 5th or 6th best guy they have. This was a good show, but it didn't feel as big as Double or Nothing to me. |
Did they bother to explain why Shida and Riho are having a singles match for a title shot and why the other women were in a Battle Royal?
Riho's offense looks soft.
Very good PPV. I'm sad I didn't pay fo...Vito paid!
It def had to have Jericho win the title to make it legit. |

AEW seem to be putting together good video packages, but you just had the announcers tell us everything that's happened. Lots of awkward filler between matches.

AEW's been all over the place with title related stuff due to needing things in place by the time their tv show starts but also don't have enough time available to properly do it. Also didn't help PAC backing out of the first show sort of messed up their plans for the main title. |

Jericho currently insulting everyone backstage, calling people idiots <iframe width="1280" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wXT7armPuIY" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
alex marvez hosting... talking in a low, almost whispering low energy tone...
what were they thinking even considering having him be their main pbp guy... insane
Pac interrupts a Hangman Page press conference, says that Page is the "real reason" he returned to AEW, then throws a water bottle at Page

For a guy who criticizes Triple H publicly, Cody sure loves cosplaying as him.

Jericho cutting a promo backstage, celebrating with champagne and Alex Marvez's shitty voice is talking over him...
and it abruptly ends, cutting off Jericho |
eeee
Cool visual with Cody standing in the crowd.
Great brawl to start. Very WWF Attitude main event style. Which Cody said he wanted to kill heading into his match with Dustin, lol.

Smart choice making it into their version of WrestleMania or Starrcade in terms of importance to the company. AEW was unofficially born with All In and makes sense to continue celebrating its birthday with All Out going forward. |
It makes sense to be in Chicago for the foreseeable future, but I'm not sure if you need to go out and say "every year" as a promise.
yeah because the crowning of the world champ shouldn't close the show when you have tag belts from another promotion in a match?

Cody is turning into quite the smart worker. If he were anyone else, Shawn Spears would have kicked out of like five finishers after everything peaked.

I'm tapping out of the Ladder Match. I don't care about The Young Bucks at all.

I'll at least say this: whatever the title match is that comes out as the result of the tournament can't be as good as the ladder match tonight even if it ends up being Luchas vs Bucks again (which I doubt but who knows) |

Hell of a show. Place exploded for the Arn spinebuster.

That is interesting, she was so heavily promoted when they started up

Hope she is ok

I've heard she's been battling some mental health stuff. That is never good, and you hate to see someone tap out. That being said, her gimmick won't be missed.

Something seems off about the Kylie Rae thing.
The speculation is that Kylie has retired due to a neck injury, some are pointing to the deadlift German suplex at Double or Nothing.

Yeah I get the story, still seems off

Official Ratings
Battle Royale - ** 1/2
Entertaining. Teal Piper was the only horrible thing about the match. I enjoyed it. Private Party/Anjelico & Evans - *** 1/2 Really fun, amazing moves from both teams. Evans and Angelico stood out but not above Private Party, they rock. SCU/A Small Boy and A Boy and his Dinosaur - *** 1/2 Fun opener with some really hot spots for Jungle Boy and Luchasarus. Omega/Pac - **** 1/2 Really great match. Nice to get this style again from Kenny which we wouldn't have gotten with Mox. Pac comes off a star, Kenny is a star, great result here with Pac going over. Cracker Barrel Clash - **** This was fucking awesome and so much fun. I really enjoy a good hardcore match like this on a long PPV. Nice to give Rave a victory, he has a lot of potential. Dark Order/Best Friends - ** Solid work but The Dark Order gimmick is fucking lame, sorry it just doesn't work for me. There is something there but overall it hasn't been an impact yet so I'd say overhaul it somehow. Riho/The Thick One - *** This was good stuff, good surprise outcome. Cody/Spears - **** Great storytelling "Cody" match. Cody is officially my favorite wrestler now btw. I may change my avatar to some king of SMOKE AND MIRRORS theme. Bucks/Bro's Ladder War - ***** Yeah I can't quite say for sure but this was one of the craziest and best ladder matches of all times. I love The Young Bucks. They are stars in a way I've never seen a tag team. They are as main event as The Rock 'n Roll Express ever were. Jericho/Page (just saw that I never rated this match) *** 3/4 Looking back I'd have this match go on before the ladder match. But regardless, they had a really good match. It's just that it was a long show, a long match, and also I didn't care about Page and the whole booking of the first championship felt rushed to me. The fact that Page won this shot from a really horrible gimmick battle royale affects the rating as well as there was no true claim for Page to be champion other than "Khan want's Page to be a big superstar". This match actually did a lot more for Jericho than Page, not that that's a bad thing. We tend to criticize those around the age of 50 who still step into the ring and that's fine, but for the lapsed fan and new fans this is the right call. |

Apparently both Brandi and Tony Khan were really upset at Cody for having Pharoh walk out to the ring after he got scared from the pyro. Khan hinted that's never happening again if Cody wants both pyro and his dog for an entrance routine.
Kahn also had a legit concern with Page's horse when it came to the use of pyro. They made sure the horse was out of the building when pyro had to be used. |
They care all around. Good image.
