Mr. Nerfect 12-13-2004 11:26 PM

I'm going to go with either Jericho, Triple H or Batista winning. I really don't think they'll put the title on Orton this un-epicly into his chase. Actually, if they have Orton win, they could build to Orton vs. The Rock at Mania. Although a cocky champion Randy Orton vs. a desperate and title appriciative Triple H could work.

I hope the order of elimination and entry looks like this:

Entry
1. Chris Jericho
2. Triple H
3. Randy Orton
4. Batista
5. Chris Benoit
6. Edge

Order of Elimination
1. Triple H pinned by Edge
2. Chris Benoit pinned by Batista
3. Edge pinned by Jericho
4. Batista pinned by Orton
5. Orton submits to Jericho
Winner: Chris Jericho

Won't happen, but I can dream.

So how's the card shaping up for NYR?

Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship
Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge vs. Batista

Singles Match
Muhammad Hassan vs. Mick Foley

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Shelton Benjamin vs. Maven

WWE Women's Championship
Lita vs. Trish Stratus
Special Guest Referee: Gene Snitsky

World Tag Team Championship
William Regal & Eugene vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko

That isn't confirmed, and Foley would unlikely be in the house for NYR, but it would be good if he did a clean job to Hassan as I mentioned earlier.

KingofOldSchool 12-13-2004 11:34 PM

Don't forget Christian and Tomko vs. Eugene and Regal for the tag titles.

Sweet Raw.

Randy Orton vs. Edge kept me thoroughly entertained. It's been the first Randy Orton match in a while that I've enjoyed. That RKO was sweet too... namely cause it was the non-jumping kind which comes from nowhere.

The Foley/Hussan segment was great too. I was worried that Hassan might get a little flustered in actual live promos, but that was far from it. If he's got the in ring skills to back it up, I see big things for this guy. :y:

Hurray for the wall of fire! But.... Did Lita say to Snitsky "despite all your efforts, I am the Women's Champion"? Since when was Snitsky ever putting any effort in to making sure Lita wasn't the Women's Champ?

I'm loving the Batista angle more and more.

Yeah, that's something Lita does. She tries to put the emotion in, but she can't get the facts straight and it comes off looking a bit silly. I would have liked seeing Eric Bischoff strip Lita of the title on RAW. Just because she didn't qualify for a match or something, then have the big match where Lita wins the title happen on PPV at NYR.

KingofOldSchool 12-14-2004 12:04 AM

I think what she was meaning was that all of Snitsky's efforts to bring her spirits down with the constant baby jokes, she came through and won the title despite all of that.

Azriel 12-14-2004 12:42 AM

What an awesome RAW. The opening match between Orton and Edge was really good. The tag match was intense, and I had to laugh when Batista won. The look on HHH's face was priceless.

And can you say Foley is God? Seriously, one of the best promos of the year. Hassan already has the mic skills which will take him far. Having the manager is fairly pointless then. I can't wait to see how he is in the ring. As for the Elimination Chamber, it's going to come down to Batista/HHH/Orton with HHH eliminating Batista. After that, who's to say? Who was that diva with Eric by the way? I didn't recognize her from the Diva search?

I haven't see RAW, so I wouldn't know. I hope it was Lulu (Nidia's cousin) from OVW, though. I don't know why, but ever since before Eric Bischoff went on "vacation" I pictured him bringing Lulu back from his holiday. It was probably just someone off the street, though.

Azriel 12-14-2004 02:29 AM

It looked like one of the diva rejects, but now you mention it, I think that was Lulu.

Mr. Nerfect 12-14-2004 02:31 AM

It is now being reported that prior to RAW, Ric Flair and Mick Foley got inot a verbal confrontation backstage, which advanced to a physical incident, when Flair threw a punch at Foley, which reportedly connected.

Also, Eric Bischoff came out when RAW went off the air and forced Triple H to participate to a match against Randy Orton right there and then, and if he didn't agree he would lose his spot in the Elimination Chamber. Randy Orton then proceeded to beat Triple H in a 20 minute match with an RKO, cleanly. A lot of fans stayed behind and really enjoyed the match, reportedly.

Azriel 12-14-2004 02:37 AM

whats the sense of having a match after the show went off the air?

Oh, by the way the new diva is Rochelle Loewen. Supposedly she did Playboy, so there's a perk right there.
Here's her site: http://www.rochelle-loewen.com/index.html

zach 12-14-2004 04:38 AM

repotedly, it is now being reported that the overuse of the word report is out of control, reportedly.

The word report is an English word, which tends to come up in a sentence talking about reported incidents, considering nothing "official" is known. ;)

And wow, Rochelle Loewen is hot. I would have no objection to her sticking around, especially as a valet to Randy Orton or Evolution.

Volchok 12-14-2004 06:44 AM

whats with Raw signing all these divas.. why didnt they just keep the ones they had? and whats with that one that Orton signed? she is freaking UGLY!

PorkSoda 12-14-2004 11:05 AM

I seriously don't know why they didn't keep Gail Kim. She's one of the best from both sides of the equation. And Jazz had that charatcer. You know it's just a matter of time before they create another Jazz-like character for their "division".

And this news of a different direction for the division, it could really be a bad move, and I don't say that often about the WWE. I remember my mum coming over for dinner one night when RAW was on. She got disgusted when Trish Startus and Molly Holly came on. She said it was degrading to women, but I told these two actually wrestled. She watched and was pleased that they didn't do a strip-show. I know that may not be much, but fans of wrestling prefer wrestling to cheap T & A (I hope), and having this sex appeal as a basis to yout "Women's" division (just call it the Diva or Slut division already) can actually turn a few people away, and it is why the WWE may have so many "enemies" if you will. When making those enemies cannot be avoided a lot of the time, when it is avoidable, and when making those enemies does nothing for your business, it really can be looked upon as a dodgy move.

Anyway, I don't know if you are referring to Candace Michelle or Melina Perez as the diva Orton hired. Candace doesn't exactly look like a model, and her voice is a bit off-note, but she does have a nice body, and if she served a purpose in the WWE, then I'd be glad to have her aboard. She could have worked really well as a manager to Trish Stratus or something. Maybe just something like Eric Bischoff's sister (Eugene's mother) in a part-time role. I hope she's actually training to wrestle through this.

Melina can actually wrestle (I think), but I'm just basing this on the fact she's from OVW. There is a fairly good crop of women's wrestlers down there (To my understanding, one can do a 450 Splash. I think it may have been Jillian Hall.), and they really should be used by the WWE. Melina looks really nice with her hair down, and she would work really well with Johnny Nitro & Danny Inferno should the WWE call them up to RAW.

Volchok 12-14-2004 06:47 PM

yeah its Melina... i dont know to me she dont look that attractive... Candace does.. but Melina... blah
