They have yet to announce if thats it or what......I can see them doing 2 more picks because that would make it an even 30 for the entire draft.
-edit- Nevermind, it's over |
Besides Evan Bourne and Finlay, not too much on ECW now.
|
On the blog, they said 17th and final pick.

The only problem with that however, is I'll already know beforehand what I'm You-tubbing? (i.e. If Santino does something hilarious on RAW, I'll already know about it...and would just be looking it up). The "shock factor" of seeing Santino doing something hilarious live, would be gone. I hope Santino goes to Smackdown. :::fingers crossed:::: If so, bye bye RAW for me. |

Almost forgot about Elijah. Maybe he'll actually be on tv now.

Final tally:
Raw: Lost 11, gained 11 SD: Lost 10, gained 12 ECW: Lost 7, gained 5 |
So that's it? Some of it is a bit surprising, but it sort of makes sense. Kofi Kingston and Matt Striker getting moved remove some ECW talent that helped consist ECW, yes, but can now go towards the flailing mid-cards of other brands.
|
Batista and Rey needed to be moved. They have fought everyone on SD.
So far, this has been the best draft they have ever done IMO. They really evened up the rosters (not counting ECW) and they switched the top guys to create fresh match ups. You can only see combinations of Edge, Undertaker and Batista so many times. Same goes for HHH, HBK, Orton and Cena on RAW. Added one or two new faces makes everything seem fresh. The other thing is that with the joint PPVs these days, the only guys that really matter money wise are the top guys on each show. So it was clear they needed to shake up the top matches on each show. I think they did that this week. |

This blows, I was hoping HHH went back to RAW >_<
Now Cena headlines the only show I watch. This is GARBAGE. RAW got molested here, plain and simple. |
RAW still has the best program in the WWE.
|
Yeah RAW is still more stacked, but shockingly as HHH goes to SD, the playing field is as even as its been in quite some time.

Well...at least they acknowledged that ONE other show existed. |
WTF NO MARIA ON RAW

Did Carlito get drafted?

Heck - if ECW disbands, perhaps they can have yet another draft to see which brands get what ECW talent. |
I know ECW is going to start touring with RAW soon, but I thought ECW was doing decent for SciFi and that the network was happy with the show.

Personally - I think it would be pretty cool if there was a mid-card "ECW stable" on one of the brands (in light of the show being cancelled). |

I'll defo be watching all products closely now. Just for the shakeup and cos SD! actually looks watchable now.

People talk about lack of depth in the rosters, but to be honest, if they did merge all three brands and just have a combined roster for Raw and SmackDown (and drop ECW) they'd have one of the best top-to-bottom rosters of all time, save the lack of a SUPER DUPER Hogan/Austin/Rock type guy.
They could drop all the shit they keep around just to make up the numbers (Henry, Snitsky, Palumbo) and the guys who may be talented but going nowhere (Shannon, Yang, Noble) and probably have two awesome shows (from a talent perspective anyway... they'd still have the same flawed creative, but that's another topic). |
I just got home and checking this out right now. Damn, ECW still didn't do much.
Finlay, 'Swog, Crazy, and Mizark are all going over while 5 are going out. Well, 3 are going over. I have no fucking clue why or what Hornswaggle is gonna do over there besides stick with Finlay. I guess Henry is gonna get the belt. Raw picks up Layla while Maria goes to Smackdown. Good trade off there. Carlito, Shelton, Harry Smith, Murdoch, Big Daddy V, and Kendrick to Smackdown. The first four mentioned can all get a fresh start. Vis and Kendrick seem to be the oddballs here. Kofi, Deuce, Chuck Palumbo, Matt Striker, Jamie Noble all go to raw. I can see Palumbo get a good feud going right away. Maybe throw Kofi in the IC title scene in one way or another. Deuce, Striker, and Noble I'll reserve judgement. All in all, I think Smackdown wins this time around. |
lol Craig Tello.
