It's a double edged sword I guess... if WWE doesn't have any title changes on PPV, people feel a little let down by a show which immediately becomes irrelevant to the ongoing plot once it goes off the air... but if they have regular title switches, people (rightly) complain that titles are being bounced around too much and lose credibility.

Thanks again CAC for that stream. Best quality I've ever seen on one. Though it did go shit towards the end, I wasn't bothered as the early part of the PPV was the best for me. Bar Edge of course.

Look at it this way:

Royal Rumble: WWE title changed hands.
No Way Out: Both titles changed hands.
WM25: WHC changed hands.
Backlash: ALL three titles changed hands.

This was the first PPV this year with no title change. Since there weren't any real storyline climaxes here, I'd say it was high time for some stability.
