Savio 02-01-2010 11:10 PM

He's right bret has no charisma and is dressed like a homo.

RawRocks 02-01-2010 11:10 PM

Vince is even trying to get the crowd going and its failing.. lordy the crowd sucks

Emperor Smeat 02-01-2010 11:10 PM

Bret "The Hobo" Hart

Londoner 02-01-2010 11:11 PM

hahahahaha

CSL 02-01-2010 11:11 PM

OH SHIT

Corndad 02-01-2010 11:11 PM

Batista???????

Bet they work Bret into Bats/Cena

Londoner 02-01-2010 11:12 PM

batista

CSL 02-01-2010 11:12 PM

As much as I wanna see the Sharpshooter, I'm glad they're making people wait

Evil Vito 02-01-2010 11:12 PM

Well, pencil it in. Batista (w/ Vince) vs. Cena (w/ Bret). Bret was never gonna have a street fight with the way Vince fights.

Def ending the feud with the Sharpshooter tho

Emperor Smeat 02-01-2010 11:12 PM

Batista's deal probably includes a title shot since he lost his controller. :shifty:

Londoner 02-01-2010 11:12 PM

BUSINESS HAS JUST PICKED UP

Wait till WM, innit.

The Franchise 02-01-2010 11:14 PM

Batista w/ Vinny Mac vs Cena w/ Bret?

FUCK if Bret wrestles it is going to be brutal. He can barely walk

Calamondin 02-01-2010 11:14 PM

Great ending. Was surprised to see Bret get the shit beat out of him, by Batista no less.

Londoner 02-01-2010 11:15 PM

Crowd did their fucking best to ruin the moment though, just had to forget how dead they were for a moment.

LuigiD 02-01-2010 11:16 PM

I second the great ending thoughts.
I fucking swear I haven't felt so much heat in wrestling for years. I wanna beat the shit out of McMahon

jerichoholicninja 02-01-2010 11:17 PM

This leading to Batista vs Cena has caused me to loose interest in the outcome and most of the build up.

As long as it focuses on Bret and Vince it will be great though.

Shaggy 02-01-2010 11:17 PM

Crap...so this is gonna lead to my favorite wrestler of all time (Bret) teaming with my least favorite wrestler of all time (Cena).

Why does crap like this always seem to happen....

LuigiD 02-01-2010 11:20 PM

I hope the Cena/Batista thing is an on the side deal.

The Franchise 02-01-2010 11:22 PM

Why doesn't Vince cancel one of the shows leading to WM and move it to Montreal? It'd be crazy but fuck these crowds are honestly ruining this feud

Emperor Smeat 02-01-2010 11:22 PM

Yeah crowd really wanted Cena to come out more than the plot twist of Batista now being involved in the Bret-Vince feud. They even chanted (pipped in or real) his name when a regular crowd would have been booing to end the show.

The Franchise 02-01-2010 11:23 PM

It was all little kids chanting Cena to. You could tell more than usual

Robodiv 02-01-2010 11:26 PM

Cena is probably out just now seeing as its off the air.

LOL at the guy in the red with his INTENSE PAYING ATTENTION FACE!

DaVe 02-01-2010 11:26 PM

wow, that was such a sick ending, imo. Thought the crowd was weak earlier in the segment, but turned out fine in the end. I was marking out, wanting Vince in that sharpshooter.

A very good RAW overall, imo.

Ol Dirty Dastard 02-01-2010 11:27 PM

yeah if this was at Madison Square Garden or in Canada, or in Philly or whatever it'd have come across live a lot better. but at least we got to see Bret cut a solid promo and Vince gut a great promo. And then Bret unloaded on Vince lol.

Inadequacy 02-01-2010 11:27 PM

So will Kofi make it into the chamber this year?

Xero 02-01-2010 11:27 PM

Who knows how long it'll be up, but...

rofl @ the laugh in Triple H's

screech 02-01-2010 11:33 PM

Totally playing that on the show tomorrow

Johnny Vegas 02-01-2010 11:35 PM

lol @ Shatner's Cena ending

Arashi Kage 02-01-2010 11:37 PM

First entire RAW I"ve watched since 2004. Watched it to see Shatner and Bret... it was great to see them but....

I haven't seen much of the guest hosting thing they've been doing, but was under the impression that the guest hosts were more involved in the show. Shatner wasn't really around much.

Honestly, I watched TNA last week and enjoyed it much more. Raw comes off as being dull, I find that TNA has me very interested, everytime there is a Bischoff/Hogan's office segment, I'm always excited to see what might happen.

What the hell happened to theme music. It's like every single guy has the same generic sounding "radio rock" song. I miss when wrestlers actually had a unique theme music, didn't need to have lyrics in it. Gotta love that HBK still has his awesome theme, I love it.

As for the ending, the Cena chanting ruined it for me. Call me a fan from a different era of "wrasslin", but I can't comprehend the appeal of Cena.

They seriously need to have Raw in Montreal (or at least Calgary or Toronto) before Bret leaves, I wanna hear a real pop for Bret, the kind of reception he deserves to hear after all these years.

The Franchise 02-01-2010 11:37 PM

Booyaka booyaka Rey Mysterioooooooowowowow

No kidding. To make things worse, for the last few months WWE crowds have been worse than normal.

rob11 02-01-2010 11:45 PM

WWE comes to Philly this Friday for a house show. Where is Raw next week, another dead crowd city?

The only city with a half ass chance of a good crowd in the next few RAW's is Indianapolis. I think California has the one right before Mania so that might be good.

I bet they would have given Bret and Vince better than "Cena! Cena!"

Mr. C 02-02-2010 12:45 AM

Edge had his moment, but Sheamus hardly features on RAW, which is odd considering he’s WWE Champion.

I understand Vince McMahon may hire some help, but why would Batista come to RAW wearing his trunks? Would’ve made more sense in a t-shirt and jeans. Interested to see where this goes. Are we getting a match between Batista/Vince and Hart/Cena, or just adding Batista and Cena into the feud to make the match at WrestleMania that much more intriguing? I was expecting Shawn Michaels to run out and kick Batista, but Cena is more logical at this stage of the game and was the one who came out last week and told Vince to confront Hart. Batista/Vince vs. Hart/Michaels at WrestleMania does sound good though, with Hart and Michaels backing each other, so next week I’m thinking that Triple-H is pinned by The Big Show. One can only hope that happens instead of Michaels/Undertaker.

I give it a 9/10.

Skippord 02-02-2010 12:47 AM

Batista is always wearing his trunks

forever

Droford 02-02-2010 12:52 AM

The dumb thing about Cena/Batista in this case is you know Cena isn't winning the EC and you know Batista isn't going to be in/win the SD EC either.

The Franchise 02-02-2010 01:25 AM

Shatner looks fucking insane good for being 78 years old.

Lock Jaw 02-02-2010 01:39 AM

No way Shatner is that old.

Lock Jaw 02-02-2010 01:40 AM

Or, apparently he is. Wow.

My 4 month old boy was looking at the tv during that video and couldnt stop smiling and laughing at Shatners facial expressions...

First time my son has ever laughed at something on tv.

NoRoolz 02-02-2010 10:48 AM

Dead crowds make it painful to watch.

It genuinely upsets me :(

Is any of the shows in Toronto?

Ol Dirty Dastard 02-02-2010 10:50 AM

WWE only has themselves to blame for the dead crowds.

AngryMidjit 02-02-2010 12:29 PM

that whole shatner tripping onto the king was funny. you could see lawler almost burst out laughing as he looked over at cole
