Also, in case you missed it, there's a season pass up on Xbox Marketplace (probably Sony's too, but I don't care enough to look). Looks like the idea of a lot of DLC that was suggested by Giant Bomb really is true.

The cheats pack looks pretty cool. Imay buy it after I've beat the game and create a new save file to mess with them. supposedly, they ALL disable achievements.

Sony is offering Saints Row 2 and all of its DLC for free as a gift for those who buy the PS3 version of the game. The offer will only be available until February 13, 2012.

Most likely the move was done in reaction to the news of THQ removing the PS3 exclusive content from Saints Row the Third due to them not advertising this as a bonus feature unlike what was done for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood/Revelations and Medal of Honor reboot.

Don't buy the cheats DLC, Kane Knight. Those are already in-game and unlocks once you beat it. The dlc is just for the impatient types, similar to the unlock cars dlc in burnout paradise.

Buddy gave me a promo code for the Money Shot DLC. Comes with a sweet looking combat armor, an Ultor version of the hover bike, and a new sniper rifle.

Also, I tried. I really really tried to play the game without cheats. Any other game I could. But in SR it's just too tempting. Used the cash cheat and upgraded everything I could. Having a fucking blast.

Everyone seems to be insisting these are different cheats. Though since I'm planning to beat the game first, I guess I'll find out.

One should also note Savior's only reason for hating SR2 is gone. You don't need to earn respect for missions anymore. You only need higher respect levels to unlock perks.

The DLC isn't even going to be available on Steam in the UK, I have to get it through a 3rd party than input a key into Steam.

The whole PC version in the UK is just a farce. Luckily, the actual port is pretty good especially when compared to SR2. My entire experience so far though:

1) Purchase CD key from website, thus bypassing the whole retail physical copy industry that didn't want the game on Steam in the first place

2) Input key to Steam and download game (users that are installing from disc have reported downloading 2gb through Steam after some of the content is installed from disc as well)

3) Notice I have no Genki stuff when I go to play

4) Click DLC page and all the page says is that it's "not in my region"

5) Find out THQ will be sending out the Genki codes seperately

6) Find out all other DLC is only purchasable from 3rd party resellers and latest info is it will only be the season pass

Yeah I just got to that part. I was like oh yeah I do kinda remember that. I am focusing on the "Gang Specialist" challenges more now than the missions because I don't know if the gangs disapear after completion.

EDIT: Why cant you name your saved games? I know one of these days I will screw up and save over the wrong one.

Agreed on the saves. I did that once in 2. It pissed me off and still pisses me off. the gangs do disappear (I think, I can't find any Morningstar now that I took them out), but you can always redo traffick or other deals to get to gangs if you run out.

Oh, the glitches are pissing me off. I love it when STAG starts shooting at me for no reason in the middle of an activity.

Or when I fall three feet and die...With reduced fall damage on.

i thought stag shooting at you was part of the game past a certain point? like you go into some areas and it's restricted access because stag have taken over that part of the city or whatever and you get an automatic wanted level.

best glitch i got so far was an exploded car in the air.

And if I was at their base when I was playing insurance fraud, that wouldn't be a glitch.

When they start randomly hosing you on the street? A little different.

no, it's not just their base. there comes that point in the game where stag up their game a bit, i can't remember where exactly, and they just start popping at you in the street, i think you're on a permanant 1 star or something.
