I've never watched an episode of an ROH or have a problem with Gertie, I just got very bored.

Just realised that I have Death By Dishonor IX downloaded and I wasn't bored enough to watch it instead of doing this thread.

Less than 12 hours for ROH fans to buy their lube to shove objects up their ass while they watch ROH tonight.

Wow, saw a couple minutes of ROH. ECW from 1995 looks better visually than this. Horribly bush league and the crowd manages to be even bigger douches than TNA's crowd.

Caught the last three minutes of ROH. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a person in the front row who weighed less than 300 pounds.

I may be home to watch a full episode this week. I'm sure the personality will leap through my TV and slap me in the face

All the rasslers in ROH are bringing dishonor to themselves by being in that pile of doggy dump.

Actually my girlfriend broke up with me when I suggested that very same thing... but why would I want to be with a girl that prefers the kimura, shooting star press and the ankle lock to Srong's strong hold, sick kick and variety of backbreakers.

Besides Roderick Strong's workrate is 15% higher than Davey Richards according to this system of workrate rating a developed the night of my prom when I couldn't find a date.

This validates everything that I've been saying!

Some Thoughts and Questions for Gertner
 

I caught a bit of ROH's cable show while I was sick and though I had some reasonably high hopes I have to admit I came away pretty underwhelmed. What sucks is that a lot of the ideas I myself thought would work years ago have shown to be the ones that don't work at all for me now.

Treating wrestling as a legitimate sport in kayfabe in theory seemed like it would be a good idea, but in practice in comes off as very boring and stale. It zaps what little charisma guys like Shelton Benjamin/Haas did have completely and generally I thought Cornette came off as way too boring. The closest thing that I saw to a colorful character was Truth Martini and I didn't care for him at all.

Also didn't enjoy the matches with two guys no-selling everything. There was a definite lack of story telling in the product and that surprises me with Cornette in charge.

As for Smackdown, I can't get back into it no matter how hard I try. I followed it long enough to think that Mark Henry and Big Show were literally the only guys on the roster that could be champion aside from Orton and that made me really sad.

I think Raw is actually pretty fun whenever I get a chance to watch. It's also got my favorite guys at the moment, CM Punk, Miz and Triple H (in his wrestling non-wrestler role).

Q1. No he did not whatsoever. Solid competitor, but the WWE is a totally different animal. You can't be undersized and not be solid on the mic

Q2: Wow. I I don't blame the wrestlers at all. I blame the fans for being retarded and waaaaaaaaaay to into wrestling and take it too seriously. Wrestling is a job and the wrestlers are there to make money.

Q3: No. He's not over enough to be champ and never will be. His U.S Title reign sucked but his supporters refuse to believe it.

Q4: Sheamus has been my favourite wrestler for a LONG time. He wrestles good matches, in a solid on the mic and is an overall good character. I'm really high on Percy Watson but from watching NXT, the WWE seems to have toned down his charisma which is a shame. Also love Cody Rhodes, CM Punk although I really think he should limit his "shoot promos". Less is more in my opinion. Mark Henry has stepped his game up too.

Q5: Smackdown basically because the majority of characters that I'm digging are on that show.
