That's what I mean yeah. My CD Key is region-free so it would be pretty batshit if the DLC key was then region locked.

Yea, been meaning to message you it on XBL for your nephew. Let me do that now.

G 09-25-2012 10:00 AM

Thanks, dude. You will put a smile on a teenage boy's face.

He'll also be happy to get the code, too.

LoDownM 09-25-2012 12:47 PM

Damn it, wish I knew before had that the Miss Moxxi's SMGs were based on your level, would've wait till I was 30 to get them.

G 09-25-2012 01:00 PM

Crazy coincidence right there. I got the Bad Touch earlier today, and I was level 30. I just found out about them. Gonna wait a while to get the Good Touch. I forget the stats, but it was high 300's with 200 something shock per sec.

Good Touch does fire damage.

Emperor Smeat 09-25-2012 03:32 PM

Looks like a bug was discovered recently that resets the Badass Ranks in the game although it occurs at random and Gearbox is saying right now its a very rare bug and not a widespread one.

alvarado52 09-25-2012 03:43 PM

Played yesterday with some dude that gave me some level 50 guns...I'm level 10 lol. Some pretty bad ass stats on them, but useless to me. Might regift them

I think I can make that happen homes.

Apparently the biggest complaint on Gearbox's forums regarding this game is the lack of gore with the amount of bitching being soo huge (74 pages worth) that Gearbox is considering making a "Gore" patch just for them to stop complaining.

Quote:

Now, the possibility of a patch to restore the violence of the original game to the sequel now seems to be on the table, as the Borderlands 2 community is stressing to Gearbox Software that a proper headshot involves exploding skulls:

Debate they did! The Gearbox forums have a thread on the matter that currently spans 74 pages, with some gamers even refusing to play the game until head-popping’s been patched in. Others have been more reasonable, stating it’s not a huge deal, but it’d certainly nice. At least one commenter remarked on how weirdly passionate gamers are being over the inclusion of extreme violence.

Gearbox also explains the Season Pass for the game only covers big expansion-like DLC but won't be covering the smaller DLC packs like new weapons or vehicles that are arriving soon. No discounts for those smaller DLC packs.

ECG viewing this thread for like the 4th time today.

Just buy the game. It's pretty good. You'll need people to play it with tho to get the most out of it.

It was the Bad Touch, so corrosive.

Either way, after starting True Vault Hunter mode, the loot made everything obsolete already. Haven't even made it to Sanctuary, and I've already found many replacements. The very first task where you get a gun and talk to clap trap nets you around 15k XP.

alvarado52 09-26-2012 12:00 AM

I keep forgetting what the color ranks mean. I keep getting scared that im tossing out the good stuff.

Not getting it. I was this close to ordering it yesterday but I decided I'm getting one of FIFA or Pro Evo 13.

The Rogerer 09-26-2012 07:31 AM

I assume the gore desire is actually more about having a feeling of feedback when you shoot something, which the first game certainly lacked.

#BROKEN Hasney 09-26-2012 08:32 AM

This website still hasn't got back to me, so I may have a PC version going for $25USD/£15 if someone wants it.

Ermaximus 09-26-2012 08:39 AM

Hollywood Hasney, I tried getting you that key DLC, but it said that our PC codes have been depleted. Translation, Gamestop only bought the rights to 100 PC DLC codes. :/

#BROKEN Hasney 09-26-2012 08:43 AM

Makes sense, PC games at retail don't sell too amazingly. Ta for looking anyways!

Kane Knight 09-26-2012 09:40 AM

Of course, I've got white and green loot that's better than a lot of the purples I have. But they tell you that's a possibility in the load screens.

ClockShot 09-26-2012 07:25 PM

Just buzzed through the credits and realized half the staff over at Funimation got voice credits in this game.

Crazy.

They might be statistically better, but a lot of times the purple and orange items will have bonus effects that have a much larger impact. For instance, I got this orange rated shield as a quest reward and instead of just depleting and replenishing, when it depletes it deals massive fire damage to anyone close enough. Really helpful in Fight For Your Life!, especially if you combine the fire effect with slag barrels and/or weapons.

Pintint 09-29-2012 02:29 PM

Is this game strictly co-op or is there team deathmatch?

Strictly co-op. Closest it has to vs multiplayer is the optional dueling system.

And that's for the best.

yo, My name's RoXer and I think it's funny to be a dick to people and edit their posts to degrade them. Also I like to pester DAMN iNATOR for his gamertag, even though I know he'll never give it to me because he's never able to connect his consoles to the XBL/PSN. :'(:'(:'(

Kane Knight 09-29-2012 02:58 PM

Damn, please don't make matters worse by giving bad information. That's Swiss' job.

DAMN iNATOR 09-29-2012 03:48 PM

LOL. Well I definitely can't refute the 2nd sentence in your post. He is the TPWW Minister of Misinformation.

alvarado52 09-29-2012 04:28 PM

ive picked up a pink or two, at least i think it is. Its definitely not a purple gun. Im assuming it ranks just below an orange.

DAMN iNATOR 09-29-2012 04:31 PM

Funny. The guide and I think the game even, both describe purple, but definitely not pink rated guns. Probably you thought pink because the brand name or the name of the gun looks sorta pink-ish.

But whatever, that's just splitting hairs.

alvarado52 09-29-2012 05:06 PM

No its definitely a different color than purple. Even the glow of th gun before pickup was a lighter shade of purple.

RoXer 09-29-2012 05:07 PM

Magenta

RoXer 09-29-2012 05:08 PM

...

RoXer 09-29-2012 05:08 PM

From the Borderlands wiki:

Quote:

A common (white) gun would be average, an uncommon (green) would be slightly above average, a rare (blue) would be a premium gun, a very rare (purple) would be a very strong gun, and legendary (orange) guns are second only to pearlescent. The rarity of each gun is indicated by color as stated on the page of each gun.

There are eight confirmed rarity levels. Weapons listed in the inventory screen might have a darker text color than what is shown in the weapon box when that weapon is selected, so it would help to compare, say, across all orange rarity weapons to check for differences in color.
