Burst out laughing every time I see Woy in these interviews. Just looks like a confused, lost old man who's stumbled upon a a camera crew.

I feel like my fantasy football team has been the death of the selected player's form in this tournament.

Didn't take long but UEFA ruled on Friday's clash between Russian fans and security by fining the Russian FA $150,000 and a threat of 6 point deduction if more bad incidents get sent to UEFA.

UEFA might end up enforcing it if they get reports from the pre-game brawl between Polish and Russian fans from yesterday.

We were laughing so hard in the pub during the France game as everytime the camera panned to him, we assumed it was an Alzheimers campaign.

CSL 06-14-2012 12:06 PM

pulling for Ireland tonight, Keith Andrews gonna channel the spirit of Ray Houghton with Casillas playing Gianluca Pagliuca.

Mike the Metal Ed 06-14-2012 04:44 PM

Well at least we know that we have to move Sean St. Ledger on were we to get promoted, hardly looked comfortable out there against quality opposition.

Corporate CockSnogger 06-14-2012 05:41 PM

Xavi broke two all-time Euro records tonight: most passes attempted (136) and most successful passes (127) in a game

That free kick goal Pirlo scored for Italy in the first half against Croatia was mind boggling. One of the best free kick goals I have ever seen. Probably the best tbh.

Spain's strength in midfield is unreal. Felt sorry for Ireland when they brought Paul Green on who has just left Derby. I think Spain's next sub saw Fabregas come on.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 10:51 AM

Yay France! Yayyyyyyyyy!
Boo the other guys! Booooooo!

OssMan 06-15-2012 11:07 AM

Bringing on Green was like taking the piss out of Ireland fans. Gibson isn't great but at least he's a Premier League midfielder who can play a bit, yet he was sat on the bench. Wes Hoolahan is another sat at home. James McCarthy's dad is sick, but I imagine if he'd actually had a realistic chance of ever playing in Ireland's midfield under Trapp that he may have come along.

Ireland's squad selection is a fucking joke and we got what we deserved for serving up a shower of shit. This sort of beating has been coming for two years and it's humiliating that it's come at a tournament.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 11:18 AM

It also worked out that France had Henry and Zidane playing when I really got into soccer.

OssMan 06-15-2012 11:27 AM

Those two are part of what continued my hatred of France.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 11:31 AM

It's alright man I'm not even worried about dem haters

OssMan 06-15-2012 11:32 AM

But I am rooting for "the" Ukraine

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 11:43 AM

No beef with the Ukraine. Just did a paper on human rights in the post Soviet Union and had to read a bunch about the fallout after Chernobyl. Mad respect for those guys.

Usually "hate" that meme, but that shit eating grin sells it.

CSL 06-15-2012 11:59 AM

god everything about the ITV coverage is the shits except for Keano, wish it was all on the BBC

#BROKEN Hasney 06-15-2012 12:01 PM

It could be the greatest team in the world with brilliant analysis, but it would still have Adrian "Fucking" Chiles.

It's even worse because they're not showing the England game so they just keep banging on about them instead of letting me enjoy this match before getting to them.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 12:02 PM

ESPN's coverage has been ok I guess. There was this one really awkward moment where they made Michael Ballack tell this really terrible joke about the Dutch. Was so uncomfortable.

El Capitano Gatisto 06-15-2012 12:03 PM

BBC coverage is absolute shite as well. They're a miserable bunch of cunts and massively chuffed for themselves, despite only Lee Dixon making a token effort at doing any kind of research and Clarence Seedorf being forced to pretend to give a shite about how England do.

#BROKEN Hasney 06-15-2012 12:03 PM

Can kind of see Ballack having the delivery of Steve Blackman too. It can't have gone down hilariously even if it was the greatest joke of all time.

CSL 06-15-2012 12:05 PM

I just like the BBC coverage because of Lineker and Seedorf, can live without the rest

El Capitano Gatisto 06-15-2012 12:05 PM

Surprised they let this game start to be honest.

CSL 06-15-2012 12:05 PM

oh shit, match suspended

Did you see it last night when Lineker said "Sick" after some hip-hop beats and couldn't keep a straight face? That was gold.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 12:06 PM

Feel so bad for Tommy Smyth too the way they have to go to him about everything Ireland related and he's just not in the mood to talk about it.

is that the old Irish guy? saw the ESPN feed for the Ireland/Croatia game and he didn't seem to be enjoying the stick the others were giving the quality of the Ireland team

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 12:10 PM

Yeah that's him.

OssMan 06-15-2012 12:10 PM

Alexi Lalas is so annoying on these things

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 12:13 PM

Yeah Lalas has been obnoxious. Ballack keeps putting him in his place but Lalas keeps on going.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-15-2012 12:15 PM

Would moderately mark out if Ballack just goes "Bro you're an American. Shut the fuck up."

OssMan 06-15-2012 12:16 PM

Michael Ballack is the sexymanalive. During the Ireland/Croatia game Ballack was talking about the foul that wasn't called and how it should have been a penalty and Lalas kept saying "for me, that's not a penalty" and everyone was like wtf are you talking about.

#BROKEN Hasney 06-15-2012 12:17 PM

We now get the highlights of a pretty dull England/France game. Yay.
