I think this story is way better if you believe Bubba’s version. That he actually was extremely calm and polite and friendly to this fan. Just picturing Bubba kindly sitting this guy down in a chair, with a hand on his shoulder explaining the dangers of toxic masculinity in today’s society.

“Hey friend. I saw you out there tonight. Looked like you were having a great time. That’s great, that’s great. But listen friend, while we want you to have the best time out there, I need you to understand the plight of women in our country. They deal with so much on a daily basis and we have to honor them, not tear them down. You see back in the 1800s women did not yet have the right to vote and times were tough...”

Jim Cornette Twitter has a post on it from "The Draw" saying he spit on Cornette at MLW last night.
So not only is someone trying to act tough about this on behalf of a transvestite, he openly admits to committing a crime.

Maybe it's a work but Corny suggests the dude won't be back for the company again.

There are also numerous other rasslers making fools of themselves using #IStandWithSonny.

WTF is life nowadays. This shit needs to stop. Chinless bastards acting untouchable hurling abuse towards people who have done no wrong.

This is PETA liberalism. Do as we say or it's inaccurate yet endless abuse and death threats from a bunch of granola eating, canvas shoe wearing fuck heads.

There's nothing wrong with the world. This is a wrestling issue. These are the same stupid fucks who hear Cornette explain, for example, why Kevin Steen and El Generico weren't pushed in ROH, and then see them put into a shit program in WWE and go "See!" like that was the point he was making. This is a bunch of dumb-ass wrestling people who can't read or listen to actual points misrepresent an entire argument just because they perceive it to be low-hanging fruit.

The same thing happened with Dave Meltzer when he made his comments about Peyton Royce. It was pretty fucking obvious Meltz was making a point about WWE's sexist attitudes and how they encourage women to get breast enhancements. Half the WWE locker-room dog-piled on calling Meltz a body-shamer or whatever. Seth Rollins gave him a tutting and then accepting a big paycheck from the Saudi regime.

I'm glad MLW are still using him. Stephen P. New might get some work coming out of all this.

They all say "sexual harassment," but none of them make a reference to whatever it was that was harassing. Was he harassing women performers or was he sexually harassing women performers? There's a big difference between the two, and I'm not sure how a guy in a wrestling crowd manages to do that to in any sort of effective way. You don't require silence to perform like a concert violinist.

This all makes ROH look extremely tiny and amateur.

Mr. Nerfect 06-04-2019 06:05 PM

Oh, for some reason, I thought "The Draw" was a fan. It's Sami Callihan.

Wtf has Solomon Crowe ever drawn? And apparently he got some on Rich Bocchini and the both got shots in on commentary and he won't be back in MLW. When the color commentator is more valuable than you are, it's probably time to stop calling yourself "The Draw."

I wonder if Orton cared about the treatment of the female performers when he crapped in Amy Weber’s bag.

Seanny One Ball 06-04-2019 07:27 PM

It's a social issue, not just a wrestling one.
Everybody involved in these things seems entirely solipsistic. No self awareness, just me me me.

They should all be drowned.

Fignuts 06-04-2019 07:31 PM

Guy might have been out of line but pro wrestlers should be able to handle a situation like that better. Skin needs to be thicker.

These chicks would be in the fetal position after less than a minute with an ecw crowd.

That's your made up narrative, Savio. If your brain is hurt by this, I can only suggest that you are thinking wrong.

#1-norm-fan 06-04-2019 09:52 PM

For the record, I disagreed with Noid on the Enzo situation.

That needs to be said on this Goddamn forum for some reason.

But Savio/Big Vic is an idiot.

And that's fair enough you disagreed. You were reasonable and intelligent in your disagreement (more so than me), gave me plenty to think about, and it turned out you were probably right.

You also don't seem to have a pseudo-sexual obsession with me like the half the board.

Got no clue what happened to this forum, but I also had no clue Savio and Big Vic were the same person, so that explains a lot.

#1-norm-fan 06-04-2019 10:42 PM

Some would say I DO have a pseudo-sexual obsession with you. I only mention that as a way to steal the joke before someone else makes it.

Savio 06-04-2019 10:44 PM

Noid post some dick pics plz

#1-norm-fan 06-04-2019 10:59 PM

I’m down for that.

Fignuts 06-05-2019 12:56 AM

Wonder what Bubba would do if the crowd started chanting "she's a crack whore"?

Stop the event and take everyone to the back one by one for counseling?

Mr. Nerfect 06-05-2019 03:53 AM

I've actually got a very nice dick, which is a shame, because it's very rarely a quality you get to lead with.

Sounds more compelling than a ROH show.

Seanny One Ball 06-05-2019 04:11 AM

Show us your dick you SLUT!

*Makes jerk-off motion*

Mr. Nerfect 06-05-2019 04:12 AM

I'm not going to spit on someone that likes it.

Seanny One Ball 06-05-2019 04:14 AM

Fucking Hell

I can't catch a fucking break

Mr. Nerfect 06-05-2019 05:04 AM

You're starting to sound like that fan. Do you want a stern talking to?

Seanny One Ball 06-05-2019 07:12 AM

Don't ruin this precious moment by spelling it out, Noid.

Fignuts 06-05-2019 07:33 PM

Get a room.

Seanny One Ball 06-05-2019 07:46 PM

You're just sore because I know more about Kerry Von Erich's feet than you do.

Fignuts 06-05-2019 10:23 PM

Why don’t you marry Kerry Von Erich’s feet, since you love them so much

Ol Dirty Dastard 06-05-2019 10:28 PM

Jim Cornette probably owns Kerry Von Erich's severed foot.

and - as a shoot - at one point, a chunk of Shawn Michaels' hair after his backstage fight with Bret.

Seanny One Ball 06-06-2019 03:58 AM

It's pretty weird that he actually does have that clump of hair you know. Genuinely took it home.

Nicky Fives 06-06-2019 05:05 AM

He doesn't have it anymore, his ex-wife has it.

ROH released another official statement regarding this incident.

Quote:

Ring of Honor prides itself on providing a fun and entertaining environment for both our fans and wrestlers to experience professional wrestling at the highest level.

Fans are encouraged to cheer, boo, and chant during the show while wrestlers interact both positively and in rivalry, as that is the engagement that makes the ROH experience what it is. Wrestlers interacting with fans is core to the experience, however, under no circumstance should any of our athletes or staff confront or engage fans outside the bounds of this entertainment experience or outside the bounds of the area that hosts this experience. We hold all of our athletes and staff members to the highest standards and, because of the actions over the weekend, we fell short of meeting those standards.

We are still in the process of investigating this matter as well as reviewing and assessing internal security protocols to ensure a safe environment for all fans and athletes. All of our athletes and staff will also be trained and reminded of our policies and protocols for fan interaction and appropriate behavior in all situations.

To our amazing and wonderful fans, we apologize for the matter that transpired this past weekend as it does not reflect who we are as an organization or how we hope to engage with our fans. ROH fans are known worldwide for their passion, admiration, and appreciation for our athletes, and we share this same admiration and appreciation for our fans. We encourage all of our fans to continue attending our events and supporting our amazing athletes in a respectful manner as they have done in the past, and we promise to continue delivering what the fans deserve - the best wrestling and the best fan experience on the planet.

Damian Rey 2.0 06-07-2019 01:15 AM

Would this be a fireable offense? I think Bubba crossed the line asking a fan to be escorted by himself to the back and basically left there by himself to be grilled by Dudley. Instead of just throwing him out.

Even if the fan in question is a steaming pile of shit, he shouldn't be walked to the back to be confronted by someone who is representing the company.

SlickyTrickyDamon 06-07-2019 01:40 AM

Could easily be grounds for release of his contract or whatever job he has as a trainer/producer. Not sure what his status is there but whatever it is could be in jeopardy.
