Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:31 PM

Hahaha, fucking love Danny Burch.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:34 PM

He's just this fucking madman. Love it. He's an excellent enhancement guy that could get so over in his own right. To mass audiences, I mean. He's already over at home.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:37 PM

Danny Burch is fucking sick.

GD 10-02-2019 09:38 PM

Welcome to the party.

xrodmuc316 10-02-2019 09:38 PM

Oh damn, Dunne vs Damien, sign me up to watch that match any day of the week!

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:38 PM

I don't like the finger break spot, but I do like that it leads to the finish with Dunne.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:39 PM

Punishment Martinez using the Generic Finish.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:40 PM

Good look for Damien Priest, but it's a big stagy.

xrodmuc316 10-02-2019 09:40 PM

Undisputed Era talking about Finn Balor in front of Cathy Kelley... AWKWARD!!

GD 10-02-2019 09:40 PM

Don't care for Damien Priest.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:41 PM

Lol, "you guys are the freakin' best"

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:43 PM

Cathy Kelley looks unbelievably like one of my friends.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:44 PM

I think Street Profits might win the belts back here.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:46 PM

Lol, Kyle O'Reilly is such a dick.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:46 PM

I used to not like the guy, but I've got time for this wanker.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:48 PM

Dawkins is a big boy.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:49 PM

Kyle O'Reilly has gotten so much better in NXT.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:50 PM

Prediction for the big angle: The Undisputed Era end up fighting with a bunch of babyfaces. Velveteen Dream gets involved. Tommaso Ciampa makes his return.

GD 10-02-2019 09:50 PM

Dawkins' has an impressive looking spinebuster. His offense against smaller competitors looks pretty tight.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:52 PM

I like the Street Profits, but I think their gear could use an upgrade.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:53 PM

Montez Ford moves like no one I've seen. I don't think it's a good or bad thing, per se. He's just very...springy.

GD 10-02-2019 09:54 PM

Montez's hang time is something else.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:54 PM

Lol, O'Reilly's running man.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 09:55 PM

Fish is solid. He makes it look like a struggle, even when he's "talking." Feels like it could be trash talk.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 10:01 PM

That was fucking sick.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 10:05 PM

A proper hot tag! These guys have been listening to Cornette.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 10:05 PM

Was that rebound lariat shade thrown at Moxley?

xrodmuc316 10-02-2019 10:05 PM

Even without the overrun, this show killed AEW. Anyone who says different is lying to themselves.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 10:05 PM

Way too early to go for the tag again.

xrodmuc316 10-02-2019 10:08 PM

Damn, Adam Cole is having a bad night!!!!!!

xrodmuc316 10-02-2019 10:09 PM

GOLDIE, COME HOME!

GD 10-02-2019 10:09 PM

A solid ending to the tag team bout.

GD 10-02-2019 10:10 PM

CIAMPA!!!

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 10:11 PM

I liked the tag match. Had the feel of the old Gargano & Ciampa/Revival matches. Ford's tope con hilo was awesome. I got legitimately frustrated for them at the end when Roderick Strong got involved.

Mr. Nerfect 10-02-2019 10:12 PM

Far from the best TV I've ever seen, but I'm glad I watched. Might come back next week. :y:

For quite awhile when both guys were on the indy scene, I could not tell the difference between Joey Janella and Matt Riddle. It was like the running gag of Adam Cole and Adam Page in RoH.

Now, whenever I see Matt Riddle, I can only think of King Slender from the old NES Pro Wrestling game.

Tom Guycott 10-03-2019 01:05 AM

After catching up on both, I can't help but feel like WWE is counterbooking AEW. I mean, I know it is "obvious", but I mean there is no fucking way we would have the matches, "returns", and other appearances we got otherwise all on one show. And I don't just mean the quality, but the matchups. Like, Dunne vs Burch would have been a main event NXT match a couple of months ago, not a throwaway midcard matchup.

And as enjoyable as it is, I hope they don't ruin it by flaming everyone popular out in just a few months. Like, I don't want NXT to become like RAW did, in that every week had to be a PPV caliber card and all the "big stars" have to be on TV every week and accelerating storylines because they feel they need to keep eyeballs.

I kinda fear they're stepping into something they can't come back from, and the special thing NXT has become over the course of the last few years will suffer long-term because of it.

Possibly. But then again, WWE has a bad habit of stop-starting any tag team division. NXT has been the most consistent, but even there it sometimes has felt like they forget they have tag champs. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Mr. Nerfect 10-03-2019 01:23 AM

NXT has very quietly out-AEW'd AEW. They feature more women and people of diverse backgrounds. There were as many women on the first two-hour show as there are listed on AEW's official women's roster.
