What are the odds SDL tries to emulate tonight's show but it turns out even shittier than their last 2 shows?

slik 03-18-2020 10:34 PM

That was a really fun episode

I really enjoyed it

Fucking genius all around. Sometimes predictable booking is the best booking. Great epsiode, having the boy around the ring was key. MJF was the savior. Matt Hardy looked jacked!

They are still planning on doing the show live next week, according to PWInsider, but it's not guaranteed with how fast things are escalating each day, so they avoided specifically saying "next week."

Over the course of tonight's AEW Dynamite episode, graphics for future bouts were listed for the "Next Dynamite" as opposed to next week. That led to PWInsider.com reader questions about whether the show was going on hiatus.

That is, as of this writing, not the case. We are told that currently, AEW is still scheduled to broadcast live on TNT.

However, the decision was made to list everything for the "next" Dynamite instead of next week because the company, from owner Tony Khan on down, is taking the stance that no one should be taking anything for granted during these tumultuous times and they did not want to come across as if anything was guaranteed. The team wanted to get through tonight's episode and as one source stated after the show, "not be so arrogant as to assume" they'll 100% be allowed back on live TV next week, since things are changing so rapidly due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

If AEW can broadcast live next Wednesday, everything that was announced tonight will take place as listed. If something unforeseen happens (and after the last seven days, unforeseen appears to be the way of the world), AEW will pick up where they left off as soon as they are allowed to do so.

Apparently AEW taped more matches than usual pre- and post-Dynamite as some insurance for next week.

If they can tape a new episode of Dynamite, then those matches will be for the next 2 weeks of Dark. If not, then those matches might be inserted into whatever makeshift episode they come up with for Dynamite.

Nothing really notable for matches were taped besides one potentially interesting match.

had no idea Lance Archer was Lance Hoyt and Dallas in TNA. AEW has made a forgettable guy like Lance Hoyt a star in just a few episodes. that video package of him last night was amazing

It's his recent NJPW work that's really got people turning heads.

Sammy Guevara is fucking amazing.

Then your head will really a'splode when I mention he was in WWE for a cup of coffee and without a beard as Vance Archer.

I honestly have no idea how this could go....Sami does Mexico too, and it would be a little more fuel for the fire for Blood n Guts buildup.

Sammy could use a big win. He and Jericho have done well as a tag team, but he's been a jobber in singles for the most part.

Speaking of Sammy and Jericho, I can see them being the ones to dethrone Page and Omega.

Emperor Smeat 03-23-2020 11:18 PM

Omega defending the belt is pretty interesting since he was originally meant to defend it this past Saturday at AAA's Rey de Reyes event before it got postponed.
