And is Shane a secret fighter than khan will have to only use low-kick to find ?

Shane didn’t even make the roster. They decided to bring back Classic Jeff Jarrett.

Dave (and by association, Bryan) have chosen an exploitative path of milking smarks for their money by telling them what they want to hear. Tomohiro Ishii is somehow more deserving of a Hall of Fame spot than Randy fucking Orton. It’s ridiculous.

Why would anyone risk their job giving these assholes correct information even if they are somehow privy to it in the corporate WWE setting?

Imagine working at WWE and seeing Lesnar walk out, and the your first thought is immediately "oh man, I need to call Meltzer", so you sneak away to some secluded corner of the arena to make a clandestine and hushed phone call....

Evil Vito 07-23-2022 10:39 AM

I’m all for trolling the social media nitwits who take everything so seriously.

People who read TK’s tweet and viewed it as anything more than a harmless joke need to go touch grass.

James Steele 07-23-2022 10:45 AM

Brock just left to go eat raw meat at a butcher shop.

Gerard 07-23-2022 11:21 AM

Wonder how many women will come out of the woodwork? Maybe some people from the diva era?

“I’m going to tell Alvarez Brock is pissed.”
“Why would you do that?”
“It’ll be funny!”
“Why would he keep believing you? Haven’t you given him so much fake shit?”
“Nope. YOU’VE been giving him so much fake shit. At least, that’s who I’m going to tell him I heard it off this week.”
“You diabolical son of a bitch…”

Am I missing something? Is somebody reporting that Alvarez and Sapp were wrong about Brock leaving?

He was on the show, lol.

Fignuts 07-23-2022 04:46 PM

Yeah, but that doesn't mean he didn't walk out beforehand.

Wait, how does this prove he never left? When you leave some place, you’re allowed to go back. It’s like one of the two possible options someone has when they leave a place.

Lock Jaw 07-23-2022 04:51 PM

It doesn't prove he never left..... but the sheetz saying he left doesn't prove that he did leave either.

Fignuts 07-23-2022 04:53 PM

Why don't we just stop talking about it then? This is dumb.

screech 07-23-2022 05:11 PM

Any update on Kevin Dunn staying or going? Read yesterday that he "would probably be gone soon" but haven't seen anything more than that.

screech 07-23-2022 05:12 PM

Fuck. Smeat would probably be able to find out

Supreme Olajuwon 07-23-2022 06:07 PM

I’ll be interested to see which wrestlers return now with new creative. Especially if HHH has any sort of influence. Sasha seems like a likely choice. I bet there will be others.

Jordan 07-23-2022 06:10 PM

Gargano probably.

Supreme Olajuwon 07-23-2022 06:10 PM

Sure, you choose to believe that. Brock Lesnar also died at SmackDown this week. He needed to be resuscitated before going out. Him being out there looking healthy doesn’t prove it didn’t happen.

Mr. Nerfect 07-23-2022 06:31 PM

Triple H might have the line to Sasha to get her to consider staying, but what’s her spot going to be and how difficult is she going to be to work with going forward? If she’s throwing spanners in the works because Ronda, Becky, Charlotte and Bianca are all more high profile than her, then maybe she’ll still walk?

Tyler Breeze as a player/coach or road agent would be my guess.

Smeat was a putz. Would share stories that were obviously fake and then cry when they got called out, but would still regurgitate them like gospel. You’re better off speculating.

Kevin Dunn has been there forever, on seven figures too. There will likely be a transition period to not make anything too jarring, but he will retire a multi-millionaire pretty soon.

It's almost as if Noid is a fucking jabbering idiot with bad-faith takes.

#1-norm-fan 07-23-2022 06:42 PM

He also tweeted right after that first tweet that they were working to get him to come back (obviously). But regardless.

Shit is 100% true if it fits your narrative (Like a heel badmouthing his/her rival/boss on a radio show) and 100% false when it goes against your narrative. There is no such thing as context or subtleties.

Which scenario is more likely? Bryan Alvarez nor Dave Meltzer talk to anyone of consequence in WWE anymore. When was the last time they actually broke news? They’re always commenting on things after it happens.

They’ve made their contributions to wrestling in the past. But they’re hanging on to whatever subscribers they have left with sensationalism and anti-WWE sentiments. And when they’re proven to be out of the loop they just go “Oh we’ll WWE — such a crazy place.”

I think the last story Dave broke, and maybe the only one this year, was that Cody hurt himself. That probably came from AEW sources. Maybe Cody himself.

Supreme Olajuwon 07-23-2022 06:56 PM

Fignuts is right this is dumb. But gosh it’s fun to argue about wrestling drama.

Love you guys

Lock Jaw 07-23-2022 07:00 PM

The last case you got to the bottom of was a case of Mallomars!

(whatever those are)

To all the turds here who were trying to give Tiny Khan credit for "clearly making a joke", well luckily his Autism continues on...

Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman asked the AEW CEO during the ROH Death Before Dishonor Media Scrum about the tweet :-\

I just thought it’s a factual statement, a note to promote Rampage but that’s all it was. I can’t say anything else about it."

Mr. Nerfect 07-24-2022 03:46 AM

Lol, he’s such a twerp. Also, a quick search informs me that a dude named Jason Brown has been the Impact Wrestling CEO since 2016. What’s the story there?

People will defend this company through anything. Any time someone says something they don’t like, it’s a joke. Or they’re working, even when money isn’t involved. Or that’s not what they meant.

#1-norm-fan 07-24-2022 11:20 AM

Tony Khan was asked if his troll post was a troll post and he said it wasn’t. So that’s settled.

Jordan 07-24-2022 11:51 AM

Was just thinking about Mania, Vince and Pat and Austin.... Kinda seems in retrospect like Vince knew he was going to retire soon. Obviously the claims against him forced his retirement but he also maybe wanted to tap out himself.

There is a pay article from an insider whose name I forget, Lanza maybe. He apparently lists almost every allegation or infraction that Vince has done professionally. I don't know that I agree with talking about him like that.

I don't think he's a saint but I value his contribution to my life. There wouldn't be a tpww without him.

#1-norm-fan 07-24-2022 11:59 AM

It’s been 2 days. I wonder if Vince has discovered internet porn yet.
