Actually, Colt McCoy isn't that bad. He's just worse than Jake Plummer combined.

Gonzo 09-10-2006 08:31 PM

Colt McCoy is the perfect name for a Texas QB. How fucking ridiculous is that name? Sounds like it belongs in Friday Night Lights or something.

RoXer 09-10-2006 08:55 PM

A few years ago I said they should take a look at Andrew Walter, but I guess he isn't doing too well in Oakland or something so nevermind.

But yeah, they need to draft a QB this year.

DrA 09-10-2006 09:01 PM

The sad thing is everyone would get upset at TO if he ever called Bledsoe a fag.

DrA 09-10-2006 09:10 PM

Speaking of fags, I guess this is the Manning vs. Manning game.

RP 09-10-2006 09:12 PM

remember when everyone was picking the Cowgirls for the Superbowl.lol

Deuce had like 87 rushing and Bush had something like 160 rushing and recieving..

That forth down call, in FG range, in the first quarter, was horrid..

Giants deserve to loose..

Hey :(

Crippla 09-10-2006 10:32 PM

I'm back from the Pats game and they won! It was only by a safety though and Brady looked like shit. The defense played good which is why we won.
Anyway, Skippord it's not gonna be too long before Cutler becomes the starter for the Broncos, I guarantee you.

Boondock Saint 09-10-2006 10:34 PM

Pats played rather craptasticly today.

Crippla 09-10-2006 10:39 PM

Yeah, it also sucks I didn't get to see Bruschi play at my first ever PAts game but D didn't look too bad in the 2nd half. Brady just looked like shit though. I threw a hissy fit in my seat when he threw that interception.

OssMan 09-10-2006 10:40 PM

Giants are frustrating

Gonzo 09-10-2006 10:41 PM

Vanilla D at the end of the half, that FG is gonna turn out to be big.

Basically shooting ourselves in the foot right now.

OssMan 09-10-2006 10:46 PM

Tiki Barber carry our team

OssMan 09-10-2006 10:47 PM

Burress catch so good

OssMan 09-10-2006 10:47 PM

Bob Sanders

UmbrellaCorporation 09-10-2006 10:47 PM

C'monnnnnnnnn Giants.

OssMan 09-10-2006 10:49 PM

terra ryzin, you are a giants fan, and a mets fan, and you are a good guy, lets be friends.

UmbrellaCorporation 09-11-2006 12:17 AM

wow, this is a load of crap.

:foc: Colts.

OssMan 09-11-2006 12:20 AM

wow retarded game

Gonzo 09-11-2006 12:21 AM

I don't even know what happened with that 10 second run off penalty, I didn't catch what they were saying but that was fucking killer.

That was a tight game, would have been nice to win but to play the Colts that tight is good. I think that PI call on Tim Carter was pretty fucking bogus, but you can't say either way what would have happened. Seems that we didn't really attempt to blitz or pressure Peyton that much, pretty much ate us up too.

Well played. :y:

Yes, because week one indicates 100% who's going to go to the Super Bowl.

Anyway, that Colts/Giants game was just disgusting. All it was was a huge media fest.

BCWWF 09-11-2006 12:23 AM

I wanted Eli to win

It ended up being a pretty good game, save for that PI call. Who knows what would have happened had they not called that bullshit? Both teams were moving the ball easily so it could have turned out very different.

Yeah that Carter play was horseshit.

I never heard of that 10 second rule either. As soon as I heard it I literally was like :|

We would have won had Butler and Webster came away with those INTs :(

The worst part is that there is no shame whatsoever in losing to the Colts, most people favored them, and it's only one week. Plus they played well and everything. Yet despite this, every Giants loss leaves me in a bitter/sad mood the next day :(

The Miz 09-11-2006 12:31 AM

uhh 3 field goals against the Lions? Lets get serious

As it does me. Regardless of all the other intangibles that can be brought up we didn't really capitalize when we should have. We had 3 dropped INT's, and a number of penalties on the offensive side of the ball, from the false starts, to the delay of game or two, to Plaxico's few blocking penalties. All that kind of shit has to be gone if we're going anywhere this season.

Who knows what could have happened if the Giants had decent pass coverage or didn't jump offsides twenty times?

Although the Colts won, they didn't look impressive at all to me. That aggressiveness that they had last year is completely gone, and I think that this is going to show itself moreso in the oncoming weeks.

OssMan 09-11-2006 12:44 AM

Nah Colts are gonna go undefeated in every game that Peyton Manning starts.

Terra Ryzin 09-11-2006 12:55 AM

PI was bullshit, might have cost the giants the game. aside all the off penalties, i think the giants looked pretty good.

the worst part of the loss is that the giants play philly and then seattle next, they can easily be 0-3,

jacobs is a fuckin beast

and i hope mike francessa chokes on a steak

and thanks assman

Nervous Ferret 09-11-2006 02:08 AM

Some thoughts about this week:
 • Trip, the KC/Bengals game was in HD. Looked damn good, too. CBS did that right, at least.
 • Speaking of CBS, the hell was with its sleek graphics package? It was like, yesterday it was lame and boring, and then today they have things flashing everywhere and flying every which way. It was looking nice and everything (and I do like that the new look, albiet they need to start using the complete line type scoreboard that FOX, NBC, and ABC use now), and they finally emphesize that a touchdown was actually SCORED), but are we going to be getting headaches from how flashy their new package is? And when the hell did CBS suddenly discover the type of graphics technology that FOX has used all these years? They seemed to have some problems with it, though. Some technical glitches, but nothing major. And when did James Brown move to CBS? He seemed somewhat out of place with those other guys.
 • That hit that Trent Green took that made him get that concussion was nasty, and while I too don't think it was a dirty hit, it's not a hit you want to take, and I do hope he doesn't have anything serious going on. On the worst side, if he's out for the season, then unless whoever the hell his name was actually brings it to another level, the Chief's season is done.
 • The Steelers look great again, regardless of who their QB is. Big Ben should be back to play in the next game, but Batch did fine. They should be favorites to go to the playoffs this year, too.
 • NFL rules don't allow networks to stay with a switched-to game past 4:15PM if it goes that far? What in the FUCK? Stay with the game until the end, regardless of when you switched over to the other game (for those like me who are too poor or too cheap to get any of those NFL cable packages). Didn't the NFL learn its lesson from the "Heidi" fiasco? Who comes up with these rules? Must be the same people who came up with the touchdown celebrations rule? Let the players PLAY and have FUN doing it.
