At the same time, it was said to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Vince McMahon still sees women in the role that they're currently in on WWE's main roster

Regarding Hideo Itami's injury, word is that it was a fluke. There's been some talk about WWE talents and the wear & tear they've taken throughout their careers but Itami's injury was described as a fluke and it was said wear & tear had nothing to do with it. (From Wrestling Observer)
Sami Zayn competed at NXT Takeover tonight but word going around is that he may be having shoulder surgery in early June.

Goldust celebrated 7 years of being clean and sober on Tuesday. He wrote the following on Twitlonger: "This is my greatest tweet of the year: Today I am 7 years clean and sober from the bondage of drugs and alcohol. I was ready and i asked for help, I worked my program and I persevered. You cannot do it alone. If you need help, ask for it. I was ready and I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. #IBelieveInYou #IBelieveInMyself ! Thanks for all your support."

Corgan received a lot of compliments on his interest in the product and put in the time to try and learn what he could, talking to talents and gibing his thoughts and suggestions. Corgan came into the tapings with a full knowledge of all characters and storylines.

Corgan is claiming TNA getting cancelled is nothing more than a "sloppy angle" being performed by TNA to fool people and the Wrestling Observer.

Now, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed more details about his negotiation period. Moose had been heavily recruited by Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling, who wanted to build around the 31-year old as a major star for the company. The promotion wouldn't offer anyone full contracts until they closed a TV deal, which hasn't happened yet. WWE also recruited Moose, but they wanted him for their upcoming Tough Enough program, for what the Observer called a "male ringer" for the show. There was no promise of a contract if he didn't win the show, but a possibility was still there. As for now, Moose will continue to work for Ring of Honor, and has also signed on to do live events, but not TV tapings for Global Force Wrestling. He'll also be appearing on the AAA Lucha Libre World Cup IPPV this Sunday in Mexico. The feeling is that Moose will continue to get a big push up the card in Ring of Honor, despite the fact that his winning streak was ended in a match with Cedric Alexander last week.

We are hearing that Joe will, for the time being, continue to work existing and future independent dates. So, if he's already advertised somewhere, chances are he will be there unless WWE NXT requires him. One would assume NXT gets first priority, as they should.
We have also heard that Joe has also come to terms with the company to market Samoa Joe merchandise, which is why the company has already released an official Joe t-shirt, can do a Joe action figure, etc.
It's a deal that is pretty unique in nature. NXT will get to tap into Joe's credibility with die-hard fans while the NXT exposure will obviously help Joe's bookings and worth to the independent scene.
It's also entirely possible this could grow into a full fledged official WWE-exclusive deal but as of this writing, the terms are believed to be what we listed above. It's new ground for WWE to have a deal of this nature, but they obviously thought Joe was someone they could attempt this with as they build their relationship with each other.
