If she was offered a contract then surely she could have just signed it and whatever the Bella twins were up to would be irrelevant as always.

James Steele 07-09-2013 07:10 PM

I love Dusty Rhodes.

Matt Morgan is gone from TNA, asked for his release.

Mr. Nerfect 07-09-2013 07:38 PM

I don't know how you can fuck up Matt Morgan. The dude is a big guy with a good look and good mic skills. He should just be a beast. I'd love to see him in the WWE again. Carbon Footprint vs. Brogue Kick? Or imagine if he became a heel's bodyguard?

Mr. Nerfect 07-09-2013 07:38 PM

Paul London and Brian Kendrick are both in the tournament to crown a new ROH World Champion. This makes me very happy.

Mr. Nerfect 07-09-2013 07:39 PM

Maria is fucking gorgeous and has become a great wrestling personality. I'd love to see her come back to the WWE as a heel manager for someone. I actually think Maria managing Mike Bennett and Bo Dallas in the WWE could get those guys great heat.

Mr. Nerfect 07-09-2013 07:42 PM

Would love to see a feud between Maria and Maryse to see who the biggest hot bitch manager in WWE is. This would mean signing them both back.

He removes the mask and everyone is like "Um, what the fuck is a former Intercontinental Champion doing in NXT?" I dunno, I just think that would create a bit of a stir and give some of the fresh faces in NXT an established Superstar with years on the main roster to work with.

Triple H would then remove Dusty Rhodes from power and Dusty would be all "It was worth it for my family." Maybe before he leaves, Dusty gives Cody's new girlfriend, maybe someone like Rebecca Knox, an unfair shot at the NXT Women's Championship and she cheats Paige over. Damien Sandow & Goldust, Cody's best friend and brother, can then be given a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship and win that match. Goldust would also double-up as a trainer/developer of talent down there. Triple H comes in and starts running NXT on an interim basis and eventually appoints someone else in charge of it.

I dunno -- NXT doesn't seem like the sort of show that the WWE wants on television or to even really get too much of a following (it is there to develop guys after all), but I think it would make for some bizarre and interesting programming.

Turn Bo Dallas heel and give him Matt Morgan as a bodyguard. They'll pretty much be 2013's answer to Shawn Michaels and Diesel.

Have Dallas explain the reason for Morgan being at his side is because of the fans backlash against him and that it's getting more and more out of control, to the point that he now feels he needs a bodyguard with him 24/7 because of it.

Cool King 07-09-2013 07:55 PM

Turning Bo heel is probably the only way they'll get a desired reaction for him from the fans at first. Then after Dallas has been around for a while, he can turn face.

Mr. Nerfect 07-09-2013 07:57 PM

That would be hilarious. I had Christian in mind for Morgan, for some reason. Back around SummerSlam 2011, I actually wanted Kevin Nash to come in as Diesel and help Christian remain World Heavyweight Champion for a bit longer in his feud with Randy Orton. Yeah, Mark Henry was being awesome, but I think having Diesel help Christian retain in his No DQ Match against Orton at SummerSlam, with Orton then beating Diesel at Night of Champions before going on to face Christian one last time in Hell in a Cell to blow off the feud would have been pretty epic.

If its the same reasons as why he left last year from TNA, then it was him realizing once again he wasn't going to be pushed any higher than he currently was or TNA reneged on any promises made to him.

I have never been a fan of Matt Morgan. Sure he's big, but he's boring. He doesn't look intimidating like Big Show or Kane. His presence is lacking. He has never really shown any convincing ability as an ass-kicker. I'm sure he probably could kick a lot of ass if he wanted to, but his moves look too soft, they lack impact. I hope this makes sense.

I've never taken him seriously with his lisp, I know it's lame, but it kind of takes away from the badassness. He needs a mouthpiece like Heyman or pair him up with Colter.

It's not the lisp, for me. It's just the fact that nothing he does look impressive. Big Show looks like everything he does hurts. Kane's moves have impact. Sheamus looks like he's hitting hard. Morgan just looks too soft for a guy his size.

Innovator 07-10-2013 02:40 PM

He needs a new look. The trunks make him look smaller, as does his moveset.

Dude Marsh 07-10-2013 02:50 PM

I agree with that. Guys with giants gimmicks should not look that bland. They should stand out from the crowd. Kane, Big Show, Nash, Andre, Undertaker... they all stood out.

Now remember Reese in WCW? They dressed him up like any other punk in the Flock, and he looked like an idiot. It was impressive when Goldberg lifted him, but that's it. He didn't impress anyone.

F4Wonline.com reports that word going around WWE on Tuesday was that Kane would be pulled from the Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Sunday, possibly being replaced by Bray Wyatt. This would be to sell the attack from The Wyatt Family on RAW and keep the feud going. There was no announcement at last night's SmackDown tapings so we'll see what happens this week.

I get what people are saying about Morgan, but I think that's been the wishy-washy booking, too. You can't take a guy his size seriously once he starts to lose. He should come in, Chokeslam some bitches, Sit-Down Powerbomb some bitches, Carbon Footprint some bitches, F-5 some bitches, give some bitches the Hellevator -- then he just goes to the back and people go "Whoa! Who the fuck is that guy?"

I don't think Morgan needs a manager. He's actually a pretty good talker. If he were intercepted backstage and simply said "No one is safe" that would be enough. Have him do a one-man nWo gimmick. He jumps through the crowd in street clothes and attacks Sheamus one week. It's Randy Orton the next. It's Chris Jericho the next, with a cheap shot it on JBL on commentary. Maybe have him obsessed with taking out former World Champions. Just the visual of a guy jumping over the barricade in an nWo shirt (just because he's a fan of professional wrestling and has one) could be enough to create a stir, even in 2013.

I guess you could have him revealed to be a Paul Heyman Guy. He has been associated with Heyman in the past. You could also give him Ric Flair as a manager or something, but Flair is so respected that I'm not sure people would boo him.

Morgan was pretty awesome when they decided to have him F5 Big Show through the announce table and was aligned with Carlito. But then they decided to give him a stutter. I kind of like that he's just a big guy. He doesn't need to be labelled a "monster." He could be a different kind of predator.

Some recent dirtsheet stuff

Quote:

With Dolph Ziggler going babyface and AJ and Big E remaining heels, the direction at this point is Dolph vs. Big E for SummerSlam.
The previous rumored plan was for Big E to turn face and just take over Henry's supposed face push that never occurred.

Quote:

The Wyatt Family will be in a six-man at SummerSlam. Based on the angle that was shot Monday, where they beat up Kane and apparently took him out of the Money in the Bank match, it'll likely be Kane and two partners taking them on. Whether one of those partners will be Undertaker will be made clear in the next few weeks. Originally it was going to be Kane & Undertaker vs. Shield. They shot the angle the night after WrestleMania when the Shield put Taker through the announcer's table. Unfortunately, Undertaker re-injured himself on that spot, so he may not want to return to action prior to next year's WrestleMania. We were told that he had made a decision and that the top four matches were set for the biggest PPV of the summer and not likely to change. Kane being put with the Wyatts suggest to me that Undertaker isn't working the show, since it only makes sense for his first match back to be revenge against Shield. Rollins and Reigns will work a tag match at SummerSlam and Ambrose will do a singles match for the US Title.

The Wyatt debut on Raw was said to be just what everyone wanted and management was very happy with how it went down.

The belief is that the crowd at the PPV Sunday in Philadelphia is going to treat RVD like they treat CM Punk in Chicago.

Quote:

MoviePilot.com reports that actor Liev Schreiber has been tapped to play Chris Benoit in a movie about the tragic double murder-suicide. The movie is titled Crossface and is written by Sarah Coulter.

The movie will reportedly cover Benoit's life from the early days in his career through the final days of his life where he murdered his son and wife. Several WWE stars including Triple H and Vince McMahon will be portrayed.

Also several design and concept images of the WWE's new training center were revealed recently.

WWE officials are getting close to picking a location for the 2015 and 2016 WrestleMania events. One of the frontrunners is the new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, which opens for the San Francisco 49′ers in 2014, and is also hosting the 2016 Super Bowl. If Levi’s Stadium is picked, the Hall of Fame and RAW would take place from the HP Pavilion in San Jose.

There is also said to be a major Northeastern location in the running.

I contacted a source this morning who tipped us to first break the news of WrestleMania 29 being in New Jersey and he said that the Philadelphia Eagles Lincoln Financial Field is currently a top contender being considered. WWE is said to no longer be afraid of going into areas where there may be a colder climate during the event after their successful event at MetLife Stadium this year. Given Philadelphia’s history with the WWE, it all makes sense.

There is also one other Northeast city being considered for the event. It’s assumed that those locations are either Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field, Foxboro’s Gillette Stadium, or Washington DC’s FedEx Field.

James Steele 07-11-2013 08:12 PM

FedEx Field would be neat since Vince got his start in Washington DC with the Capitol Wrestling Corporation which had some amazing tag teams like The Amazing Kangaroos, The Shiek & Zebra Kid, and The Bastien Brothers.

Would love to see WM here in PGH - The Rooneys basically insured that the Super Bowl won't come to town due to Heinz Field being an outdoor stadium. It'd be awesome to see an "Allegheny River Match", since there's a direct path from where the rig would be down to the river from the stadium WITHOUT having to go through a backstage area.
