Merry Krismas Cubs fans. Bryant is starting at 3rd and batting cleanup.

Evil Vito 04-17-2015 10:17 PM

Before last Sunday, Bartolo Colon hadn't driven in a run since 2005. Now he's done it in back-to-back games.

Emperor Smeat 04-17-2015 10:29 PM

:D Walk-off win for the Red Sox tonight.

Struggled until mid-game with a potential no hitter against them and turned it around once the Os starter left the game.

Droford 04-17-2015 11:30 PM

Which was bullshit since Ubaldo should have never been ejected. I don't believe it was retaliation for Sandovals slide trying to take out Schoop at 2nd. Should have just been warnings.

SlickyTrickyDamon 04-18-2015 12:39 AM

It was a good spot to do if it was intentional. Putting a guy on 1st with two outs and the guy up next is hitting like .180.

If you don't think it was retaliation then why should he be warned? Or why should the Sox be warned too? They did nothing wrong.

I doubt they will vote for him even if he has MVP level stats this year.

Innovator 04-18-2015 08:24 AM

He's pretty much the entire Yankees offense

ClockShot 04-18-2015 04:21 PM

Kinda curious how this Josh Hamilton/Angels dispute plays out.

I know it's only a 5 year deal. But damn, they were stupid to give him that much money.

road doggy dogg 04-18-2015 06:44 PM

Really hate seeing ARod do well right now. Just has such a punchable face.

road doggy dogg 04-18-2015 06:45 PM

And also, today was the first big letdown game for the Tigers. Hopefully not many will follow. Didn't watch it so don't know what happened but sounds like Dirty Sanchez got knocked around a bit.

Bad News Gertner 04-18-2015 07:12 PM

Donaldson with a walk off!

Damian Rey 04-18-2015 07:29 PM

Padres climb all the way back to tie the Cubs at 6 a piece only for Kimbrel to show he's human after all. Oh well. Padres are fun to watch this year thus far. Love that tthe lineup can score runs.

It's density.

I don't know what the funniest part of this clip is. The way Christian Yelich struck out, the delayed crowd reaction to the win because everybody was focusing on the flying bat, or Alex Torres' headgear.

The more "It's Gonna Happen" signs that show up at Wrigley, the angrier the Baseball Gods will get. Stay humble.

Droford 04-19-2015 12:45 PM

The ump that ejected Ubaldo is no longer umpiring

The Good: Mets win their 8th game in a row, all against the NL East

The Bad: Today was very costly. Jerry Blevins fractured his forearm in the top of the 7th inning. He was their only true lefty specialist and he had been a perfect 15 for 15 retiring lefty batters this year. Then in the bottom of the 7th Travis d'Arnaud fractured his right hand getting hit by a pitch. He's been their best offensive player this week and his defense has been world's better than last year.

A mediocre team would let these type of injuries weigh them down, so hopefully that doesn't happen here. I'm more concerned about the Blevins injury since the Mets will be calling up top prospect Kevin Plawecki to fill in at catcher.

Bad News Gertner 04-19-2015 06:01 PM

Jays starting pitching is so bad.

With the baseball world watching Kris Bryant bat at a .300 clip in his first weekend in the big leagues, the Padres still managed to pick up their second straight title defense.

Wondering how long of a leash Arismendy Alcantara has. He's like 2 for 30 or something. He isn't turning out to be the Ben Zobrist super utility guy they were hoping for. Got to be waaaay too soon for Russell, right? Davewadding?

Frank Drebin 04-21-2015 01:43 AM

Addison Russell gets the call too. Going to bust a nut. Excuse me.
