Andy Dalton

road doggy dogg 11-07-2014 08:24 AM

Wonder if Droford/Supreme will bicker over this game.........

Crippla 11-07-2014 08:38 AM

Browns might just have a winning record this year

Crippla 11-07-2014 08:38 AM

More importantly the Pats have a bye this week

Browns may make the playoffs this year.

Crippla 11-07-2014 08:43 AM

Possibly but don't jump to conclusions too quickly in that division

Ruien 11-07-2014 08:45 AM

I said may. Steelers are the front runner. Baltimore is LOL Droford.

Evil Vito 11-07-2014 08:57 AM

Would feel like such a bizarro world if the Browns AND Bills both made the playoffs in the same year.

Probably won't happen though. I do think 2 teams are coming out of the AFC North but I'm not sure I can see a second East team making it in, the Chiefs are playing really well right now and if the Chargers can get themselves together they'll be in the mix too.

Crippla 11-07-2014 09:01 AM

I doubt the Bills or any team in the AFC East other than the Pats will make the playoff but that would be strange

road doggy dogg 11-07-2014 09:04 AM

Miami has a waaaaaay better chance than Buffalo

Evil Vito 11-07-2014 09:17 AM

Yeah, Tannehill looked great on Sunday. Mike Wallace looks like he actually cares. Lamar Miller way better than expected. Defense mostly solid.

road doggy dogg 11-07-2014 09:19 AM

Damn, ESPN's stupid "playoff machine" isn't updated for this year yet. Says "after week 11"... love using that thing to plot out scenarios but guess I'll have to wait

Clerk 11-07-2014 09:22 AM

Browns win WOO

screech 11-07-2014 09:22 AM

Baltimore still has a shot, but the CB issues will be tough to overcome. Offense, for the most part, has been better than in years' past. I don't see a division title, but a wildcard is possible.

Browns look legit right now, and Gordon is due back next week (or is it the week after?) so they'll get a boost for sure.

I'm not totally sold on CIN, but they always seem to hang around, plus they're 2-1 in the division.

And then the Steelers. Their offense has been fantastic (ugh) and their defense is good more often than not (ugh). They will probably win the division. I need to scrub myself now.

Division title could come down to the final week. This AFC North report was brought to you by SURGE. And THE DEMON KANE

road doggy dogg 11-07-2014 09:24 AM

Week after next (12)

road doggy dogg 11-07-2014 09:24 AM

How have the Bears only played 1 division game so far... seems LUDAcris

road doggy dogg 11-07-2014 09:24 AM

^ by contrast, the Ravens have already played 5 division games. Weird-ass schedules

Jeremy Hill said that the Browns "weren't very good" after the Bengals got blown out. Classic sour grapes.

Scoreboard, bro.

Niners' Frank Gore: 'We're going to the playoffs'

someone posting the Mora clip after hearing the word "playoffs" is arguably the most cliche sports thing of all time and I fucking hate you

I honestly thought about starting a "hey did you see that football massacre on NFL network last night" thread but his shitty team beating the Ravens somehow would be too easy of a comeback. I was going to do it if they lost to Jacksonville though, which almost happened.
Bengals don't scare me with 3 straight road games starting in New Orleans plus a week 16 game vs the Broncos and 2 games vs the Steelers left. The only way they finish over .500 is because 8-7-1 is technichally over .500 (3-4 is being optimistic considering their schedule).

Rest of AFC North teams could have 10 wins and somebody won't get a wild card.

road doggy dogg 11-07-2014 09:44 PM

Think I might finally be off that Bengals bandwagon... said this yesterday but Dalton's game last night may have been the worst quarterbacking I've ever seen. Including the Josh Freeman experience last season.

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2014 10:08 PM

Cards and Carson Palmer agree to a 3 year, $50 million contract extension. Only next year is guaranteed although around $20 million is also guaranteed.

road doggy dogg 11-08-2014 05:10 PM

It's a decent extension. Palmer gives them at least stability at the position and they're only really committed to him for another year. Could be worse.

road doggy dogg 11-08-2014 05:11 PM

Also had to laugh at a headline that stated "Calvin Johnson officially probable for tomorrow"

I understand it's because of the way they list injury status (probable/questionable/doubtful/out), but "officially probable" just reads funny

Nark Order 11-09-2014 01:22 PM

Hole e shit. 9ers not fucking around to start this game

Nark Order 11-09-2014 01:29 PM

Using Gore. Using Vernon. Kap running. Dominant defense. What in the fuck is this? This is incredible.

We are playing like the 49ers again

Droford 11-09-2014 01:35 PM

Wish I could laugh at the Steelers getting trounced by the Jets

Ruien 11-09-2014 02:00 PM

To early to do that. They are still the Jets.

#1-norm-fan 11-09-2014 03:00 PM

Alright. 31-7. Let's go ahead and get Romo out of the game now.

Droford 11-09-2014 03:16 PM

Lol steelers missed a 23 yard fg down 17..woomp woomp woomp

Droford 11-09-2014 03:51 PM

Steelers go from first to last place..woomp woomp woomp

Browns are in first place..

Ruien 11-09-2014 03:57 PM

So rooting for the Browns to win the hardest division in football.

Nark Order 11-09-2014 04:01 PM

This 9 era game has gone to hell. Started so well.

road doggy dogg 11-09-2014 04:07 PM

Stafford, what a beaut

Nark Order 11-09-2014 04:09 PM

Oh my god this game is going to kill me

Nark Order 11-09-2014 04:16 PM

LOL Parrish Cox flopping like Vlade Divac

Nark Order 11-09-2014 04:42 PM

Holy god. We needed that win. Good game, Kris P.

#1-norm-fan 11-09-2014 04:57 PM

Matt Hasselbeck is working as an analyst for the Cardinals-Rams game right now. Is this a normal thing that I've missed? Guys on their bye week working other teams' game as an analyst? Seems weird.
