Daunte Culpepper signs 2-year deal with the Lions.

I'm gonna keep my mouth shut. For now. :shifty:

Kris P Lettus 11-01-2008 10:55 PM

I knew a team would pick him up if a starting QB went down..

He should have swallowed his pride two months ago..

VonErichLives 11-02-2008 08:19 AM

on paper, I pick the colts today, but the game isn't played on paper, so we'll see what happens.

RP 11-02-2008 08:21 AM

I pick Bob Sanders to kill someone tonight.

Two TD's for Clark tonight. Start him. He almost had 3 against the Titans. New Englands secondary is poor. There linebackers are slow. Clark is gunna cut them up.

RP 11-02-2008 08:29 AM

The Colts have every reason to blow New England out tonight. I'm not even talking shit or anything. Pats secondary is full of bums and rookies. There linebackers are slow. Colts defense thrives against inexperienced QB's like Matt Cassel. And i dont even know who the Pats rb will be. Kevin Faulk? I guess. They dont have Jordan, Marhoney or Morris. Bob Sanders and the best unknown cornerback in the league, Kelvin Heydan are coming back. There should be some turnovers from the Pats and Manning should get alot of opps to score touchdowns and if Matt Cassell has to play from behind, which should happen, the Pats are in deep shit.

Plus Indy has to win this game. And that means alot. This is basically a playoff game right now. If they lose, i think there done. The score of this game should be like 42- 17. But the Colts havent been the Colts all year long. So who knows. I wouldnt bet on them at this point. I can only say what should happen.

Team Sheep 11-02-2008 11:08 AM

Awesome Sunday coming up. Jets @ Buffalo should be a great AFC East battle, Green Bay @ Tennessee I'm really looking forward to. Then we've got Dallas @ Giants and Pats @ Colts :D Can't wait.

Team Sheep 11-02-2008 11:08 AM

Monday Night football looks awesome this week also.

Gonzo 11-02-2008 11:14 AM

I got the Colts today. I really think they come out on fire. They have to. RP said it best, it is basically a playoff game for them.

as I said, on paper i'd take the Colts today.

Faulk and some guy with 4 names I forget are the RB, however he's has a few flashes of speed.

the OL is playing like shit and that wont help against this colts DL and the best cover guy they have right now is Hobbs who will deflect a pass and then get a 15yd penalty for a celebration.

for the Pats to win...

1) OL they need to play like they did prior to mid-season last year. When they were one of if not the best.

2) DL get that pass rush going, this isn't the same Indy unit and it's shown, not just talent but Mannings ability to change a million things at the line hasn't happened because the new guys are confused.

3) Mayo has to keep playing like he has been and if it's Addai or Rhodes, stuff'em every chance he has.

4) Cassell, the flashes we've seen we need more of... the ability to read and step up and deliver that he does a few times a game, today is the day it needs to come out. If he gets hit early, come back up top right away.

I have to be up early tomorow, so I'm hoping for a pats blowout at half time and then I can go to bed.

lol I hate when players act like they just won the Superbowl on a regular play. If it is third or fourth down I can see a celebration, but lets get real here.

Hobbs is an undersized CB who is a good cover guy and a good return guy, however there are times when he's dancing annoys the crap out of me (not counting the SD incident a few years ago which was payback for what SD did in NE).

Team Sheep 11-02-2008 04:58 PM

Woo New York Jetssss :D

ClockShot 11-02-2008 06:10 PM

Jay Cutler is slowly transforming into Brett Favre. 2 INTs in the first quarter already and down to Miami.

Hopefully things will turn around in the 2nd half.

Crimson 11-02-2008 06:29 PM

Why is Brad Johnason still in there what is it gonna take, for him to throw 10 int's in a game??? Take HIS ASS OUT ALREADY FUCK

FearedSanctity 11-02-2008 06:47 PM

As I said before, Denver can only have either good offense or defense, never both. Now the defense is really holding Miami, but the O can't do shit once they get to midfield.

FearedSanctity 11-02-2008 07:19 PM

Maybe you and SammyG should get together and have a good cry about it..

I'm sorry.

RoXer 11-02-2008 07:24 PM

Sammyg..

Whom may that be??

FearedSanctity 11-02-2008 07:34 PM

Peyton Hillis is a fucking God amongst men.

7 catches for 115 yards and a TD.

And he's a fullback...

Mr. Monday Morning 11-02-2008 07:52 PM

Raiders had 3 (THREE) 1st downs all game

That is earth-shatteringly awful

Heros Welcome 11-02-2008 08:03 PM

ATL murdering the Raiders today! Loved every minute of it!

SammyG 11-02-2008 08:14 PM

lol Rams

Team Sheep 11-02-2008 08:25 PM

How the fuck did the Jets lose to Oakland.

Evil Vito 11-02-2008 08:26 PM

McLegend 11-02-2008 08:28 PM

Big game next week.

ClockShot 11-02-2008 08:31 PM

4 of the last 5 lost for Denver. And I thought this was the year.

We're halfway through the season right now. Here's hoping the second half for us will be better than the first.

Innovator 11-02-2008 09:50 PM

NEW YORK

Loose Cannon 11-02-2008 11:09 PM

huge win today.......and Indy just scored woooooooo. sorry.

Jets always seem to show up against the AFC East

Triple A 11-03-2008 12:47 AM

Yeah I feel like that loss against the Raiders is gonna annoy me all season. Could be 6-2 now.

Boomer 11-03-2008 01:51 AM

Cowboys-Giants was so ugly I couldn't bear watching it. The media hype machine still jumped all over it though. Ugh.

There isn't even an article or video about the Falcons game on the front page of ESPN. I mean I know Jamarcus Russell looked like Marcus Vick, but lord we flat out blanked them. Domination the entire game. More wins than all of last year, and still very much in contention for the division. Saints-Falcons will be fun for sure.

Oh and I was pretty bored with the Tennessee game too. I can't believe they are doing this with fucking Kerry Collins. Kurt Warner I can understand...but Kerry Collins? Good lord...this will be worse than when the Bucs won the Superbowl with Brad Johnson.

The Genius 11-03-2008 01:55 AM

how are the raiders that bad. they had negative net yardage at the end of a half and finish the game with like 3 first downs total. not to mention that ATL pulls turner and puts in a 3rd string RB and he runs all over oaklands defense.

terrible week altogether, 4 different fantasy teams will take losses now.

Nope, you'll still win your game against me because there's no chance Clinton Portis AND the Washington D get less than 5 points. :(

Fucking Jeff Fisher can't make up his mind about his goal line back.

Innovator 11-03-2008 11:06 AM

HUGE game with week against the Eagles.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-03-2008 02:01 PM

Finally won a game. Hooray.

One thing that's annoying me though is Carson Palmer is still holding off on getting Tommy John surgery and is still hoping to play at some point this season. Why? The season is essentially over. Get the surgery and heal up and get ready for next season.

SammyG 11-03-2008 03:09 PM

After the game, Bulger told Post-Dispatch columnist Bryan Burwell:

"If you want to put the blame on me (for why the offense struggled), well, I don't care.

"Oh, I know everyone's going to say it's my fault. They're going to say I'm throwing off my back foot or crap like that. But you know what? I don't care what people say. All I care about are what my teammates and my family says.

"Everyone else? I don't give a damn."

Sweet, Marc.

ClockShot 11-03-2008 08:39 PM

Denver RBs Andre Hall and Michael Pittman out for the season.

Ryan Torain is the only guy we got to carry the load.

The plunger is up. I'm looking for a man or something to push it down so the team can blow itself up.
