If I'm AEW, I'm much more excited at the prospect of getting Tessa Blanchard and Eli Drake. I think ROH is a much more likely destination for him, because Bubba Ray is an attention whore.

Actually agree, Eli shouldn't have been booked in a intergender match. Like I've said Impact hasn't used Eli well since he signed his last extension with them. I'm not against intergender matches all together but Eli isn't someone who should do them, Joey Ryan on the other hand is perfect for them.

Joey Ryan being perfect for something is a good sign that that thing is shitty.

Joey Ryan is so fucking shit. Probably a better wrestler than Eli Drake though, sadly. Cornette, as usual, is right in principle, but he misused the word “talent” here.

Another guy Cornette really loves is Dolph Ziggler. Eli Drake wants to be The Rock harder than even Ziggler wants to be Michaels. I don’t agree with him on everything.

Woah woah woah. Where did this Ziggler hate come from? He’s just been a longtime victim of WWE directionless because booking. As a performer, he’s great.

Eh, some of the things he does have really started to grate on me. And maybe it’s not his fault, because I don’t know how anyone can have passion given the schedule and presentation of the main roster. Would like to see if he feels “big time” somewhere else.

Say what you want about Joey Ryan, he was by far the most entertaining part of that iMPACT show Mania weekend live. Everything else felt the exact same whereas Joey Ryan and Tessa Blanchard were a breath of fresh air.

Plus Joey Ryan gets my kudos as he was the only wrestler out with the fans after the show selling shirts and taking pics. Made time for everyone, seemed like a really good dude.

2 things about Ziggler that made me question if he really "gets it"

1 - as a face, he'd go up to the turnbuckle for the 10 punch spot, one of the easiest ways to pop the crowd because it lets them participate. He'd always end up punching way too fast for anyone to join in.

2 - when he turned heel in 2017 and started wearing the American flag on his tights despite performing in an overly patriotic country.

Couldn't get the show to play on the Xbox so I had to watch on my phone and couldn't post anything. Not sure what the problem was there I just watched the NWA show on it last night.

Good show, having Lucha Bros vs LAX as the main event was the right choice. Felt like the world title match got real sloppy after the Spanish fly spot.

Did not care for either match

Good to know I don't need to give this another chance.

Never been a fan of Elgin and hopefully he's just a one off for this taping. It's a good first challenge for Cage as champion though.

Guess it makes sense he'd eventually show up in Impact considering no other big or notable promotions were interested in him. Same for a bunch of smaller notable indies not being interested due to how badly he handled the sexual harassment incident at his wrestling school.
