Huh? They didn't fix it though. And the patch was delayed because it had to go through Microsoft's authentication process, as all patches have to do on 360.

Am looking around right now at a lot of forums and people are saying there is still a care package glitch, but it seems to be 'low key' right now.

I'm not talking about the certification. The patch was ready to go once, they yanked it out of certification because they said they wanted to put more fixes in.

At this point I'm just pissed at the people doing this shit. There's only so much IW can do (and believe me I'm not their buddy). If people wanna go out of their way to break a game and fuck with people's online experience than after a while... you have to look at the culture rather than the dev team.

These people are dicks, no life dicks with no balls either. I seriously wanna see them get in a fucking cage with an MMA fighter, and watch them try to glitch their way out of that shit. And the fighter has to yell, "Where's the glitch, boy!" every time he hits the fucking loser.

It's not as bad as the Wii version of Modern Warfare. After seeing this I jumped on the game and it was so fucking fun. It's another hack that if it happenes, everyone would get it

See told ya I wasn't lying :( Seriously I have never once purposely used a glitch in this game. I once got stuck in the ground on afghan and fragged myself to get out but that's it. Seriously, people who use glitches to make themselves look better just suck at life.

Its mostly on Valve's part though. Smaller company with so much to manage. They promised us the update for TF2 but L4D caught fire. Then L4D2. TF2 is getting left in the dust.

Not for PC though.

I'm not gonna quote both your posts, so I'll respond to both in this one.

Besides the occasional person that's hacked the game, it's perfectly fine.

The only reason we haven't gotten the updates is because Microsoft wants to charge for them, so Valve wants to give the fans their money's worth, thus they're waiting until they finish all the updates to release it. I play it a lot more consistantly than you do, I'm sure. I should know.

The care package glitch i really shitty and its actually easy to do. I saw a team mate do it and asked him about it. After he showed me I reported him.

It's died down yeah, but there were A LOT of hacked games about a year ago. I can say that the TF2 community is better than COD in that most of the time hackers wouldn't join a public match and start hacking it. Normally they would create their own. You still get the occasional sky walker/ground sentry that hasn't been patched but it doesn't take much to figure out a way around them.

It's not really a financial issue as much as it is a resource issue. Valve wants to release the update so that theres new guns/maps/game modes all in one. We're a little around 2 and half years after the release date and they still don't have everything they want. Mostly because of getting bogged down with L4D. And heaven forbid they start on Half-Life 2 Episode 3. Or a Portal 2. Or something completely new.

Then they might have to expand!:eek:

Yeah, maybe recently. When it was released, probly not. I got a little tired of the 360 version around a year or so ago. I play the PC version at friends house every now and then.

They're not necessarily "bogged down" with L4D, it's what the team wanted. Valve lets their staff vote for what project they want to work on next, and after L4D1 was released they voted on stuff like HL2E3, L4D2 and whatever other ideas they have. Obviously they wanted to do L4D2. I guess they're pretty much get to anything else when they feel like it, if they haven't started already.

And no matter which project they picked, TF2 would have most likely taken a back seat like it's doing now.

Fingers crossed that after they finish the L4D DLC due out this spring they can focus on TF2 for 360.

(Honestly, I'd be happy with whatever project they choose next.)

Damn there is some glitch on Derail that lets you go behind one of the barrier things at the end of the map. Some circle jerking clan was doing it so my whole team would run to the guy who was outside the map and try to shoot him even though they couldn't and then their whole team would run and ambush them.

Sorry I couldn't join you earlier Platinum Bear, I was already shooting a load of people up with a couple of good friends of mine.

Got the Magnum Tac Knife I was on about a couple of days ago, pretty easy to get the kills with Akimbo Magnums. Tac Knife is fun but not as ridiculous as I'd hoped.

I stabbed this guy 3 times in a row earlier, knifed him when he was sniping in one of the shacks in Rundown with two floors, then he came straight back to get me but I knew he was coming because the dickhead had Scrambler on. Waiting by the door and knifed him. Went downstairs, sure enough my radar starts fuzzing up again. So I wait, hear him lob a grenade and run up the stairs, chased him up and Tac Knifed him again. Good fun.

Tac Knife is awesome and makes the Magnum a bit more accurate, or at least I think.

Scrambler Pro is where its at, but I hate normal scrambler its like yelling "Im coming, get ready to shoot me"

So I was going through the audio files trying to pick out all the "RAMIREZ!" audio files and found the MP sound folder. So... There's audio files here for something called "Defcon" (Audio says "Defcon Team Deathmatch" for example), a new gametype called "Arms Race", and Team Deathmatch Pro, Free For All Pro, Search and Destroy Pro and Sabotage Pro. There's also voices for Team Tactical, and no, it's not 3rd person either.

If anybody requests it, I can upload the audio files to youtube.

I also found the weapons folder and found the G3, G36, R700, M40, M240, SA80, AW50, a power drill, MP5, MP9, and the MP44. I can provide pictures for these as well if requested.

(PC Files FYI)

Edit: Also found gametypes listed as "Die Hard".

Almost retired from the game. Gonna have a final run with the FAL as my go to weapon. It's full of class.
