Just being an international manager must get boring.
Anyway i won La Liga for the 2nd successive season with Barca,doing ok in World Cup 2006 qualifying though i lost to Ireland away and they got a last minute equaliser in the home game so i'm currently 2nd behind them. Also signed Beckham for £8 million as Real didn't need him according to them. |

Yeah Babangida's one of the game's better players for lower league teams (though some people reckon he does just as well at the higher levels). If you found him by accident well done, he's a good 'un.

I did find him by accident :), also does anyone know how to make the game go as a window so you can minimize it, cause I get really bored of not being able to do other things while playing champ manager :(

I don't know that you can run it in a window, but quite often I'll run a game while doing other things, and just use the window button (next to Alt) to access the toolbar and switch to other things

And Jamie Mullen from Man Utd after the first season if they release him. I got him when he was like 17 and he's the best winger i've seen in the game, even in the champions league. |

You can change it to a window. Well, I have the red one, and you could on there. I reckon you can on all of them. When you choose things like the currency, auto saves and stuff like that, there should be the option to have it windowed. :y:

What I hate about international teams, apart from having to wait for 2 hours per game is that when I submit my squad 2 days later 5 of the players I picked have been removed. I think this is the reason I didn't win the European Championships with Italy cause Totti, Vieri, & Inzaghi where all injured and the tactics I was playing kept making players get one match bans.

One tactic that never fails for me
4-4-2, right central midfielder running back into the dmc role (say Gravesen) and the left central midfielder running forward into the amc role (McFadden would be perfect) and set him to make forward runs Practically unbeatable |
I use 4-1-3-2 usually, the 1 being a defensive midfielder. also wingers, and have your mc running straight up to the area, he scores impossible amounts of goals. :love:

I don't even know any tactics so I will probably be bottom of the league anyway so I don't care.I have been using a mixture Diablo and Uber2 which have kept me unbeaten at home after 24 games but I just got beat 5-0 away to Arsenal.

I've developed a tactic myself, but in all honesty, if someone uses Diablo (and its bloody obvious when they are) then it just defeats the purpose of the game

You don't essentially need to figure out tactics, I got to the Champions League with Torquay on just 4-4-2, but as I've found with this tactic I've developed with Arsenal, it can be helpful

Ok I have a question, can I download all skins etc from The Dugout or will that effect the online game ? I was gonna download SuperPack v3 CM4 03/04, and Commentary File for CM4 Season 03/04 V2.01 but I would rather make sure it is ok before I do it...
Also I figured out how to make the screen minimizable which is pretty conveniant :) |
I was wondering, do you get anything for finishing 7th in the Premiership ? I am 6th in the league with 2 games to go and Newcastle are 7th 1 point behind me with a 15 game unbeaten run and lately my results haven't been too good.

Doesn't matter now, I beat Portsmouth at home on the last day of the season whilst Newcastle could only manage a draw away to Arsenal. I have bought in about 10 new players and my squad is beginning to look pretty good. I am in the Uefa Cup in my second season. I am pretty proud of myself considering this is my first EVER season on Championship Manager 03/04.

Ok,I signed Robinho and I will have to spend the rest of my transfer budget to start negotiations with Tevez (New club record, £12 million) but now I will have to wait for the work permit. Meanwhile I have signed James Milner and David Bentley both on free transfers. After getting my wage budget back down it looks like it is going to go straight back up with Tevez wanting £40,000 per week. I have got the season off to a pretty good start beating Leeds at home 3-2 and Sunderland away 2-0. When is the draw for the Uefa Cup held, I am deffinatly in it with finishing 6th aren't I ?

If your playing Diablo (as seeing from your formation you are) Gravesen is terrible for that position.
Look for a player called Boy-Boy and play him there, he's pretty nifty. |
