Chavo Classic 09-19-2011 12:06 AM

I'm hard for you, gorgeous.

Shisen Kopf 09-19-2011 12:08 AM

Serious business going on here

Blakeamus 09-19-2011 12:10 AM

I just don't know how to erect to...I mean react to that.

Blakeamus 09-19-2011 12:12 AM

You are really trying to keep this going huh?

Chavo Classic 09-19-2011 12:12 AM

Seriously, bro. I will do an IP check on you. Find out where you live, and if I can sell enough crack to afford a plane ticket, I will fly over to whichever hick region of loser ville you live in, and cut you. I will also steal your xbox or whichever games console your hooker mom can afford to buy you.

I can see that you are trying to pick a fight and attempting to get something out of me with the comments you are making towards my mother. But all I can say is good shit man and good luck with your journey.

Chavo Classic 09-19-2011 12:15 AM

Yep, your mother does.

Anyway, Di Biase/Rhodes was good. No?

DaBrasko 09-19-2011 12:21 AM

It was pretty damn good.

Blakeamus 09-19-2011 12:23 AM

and I do see what you are doing there with the whole "hick region of loser ville" and your not even close. Trying to be tough and comical on a freakin wrestling forum because someone was disagreeing with you about the main event is really working out for you. I just hope that if you do succeed to sell crack to get a plane ticket wasn't a waste, because I can assure you that fucking your mother for it wouldnt be in your best interest. Being that she has AIDS and all.

You see what I did there? Went down to your level. You are just a meaningless skid mark on the underwear of society.

well, He wins for making you go to his level. Classic heel move.

DaBrasko 09-19-2011 12:29 AM

Damn it I wasted my 1000th on that! :(

Blakeamus 09-19-2011 12:32 AM

Ha sorry...

Blakeamus 09-19-2011 12:33 AM

Yeah you win Chavo...throwing in the towel.

Henry Won? Cena Won? Overbook ending? PPV Sucked. Goodnight.

Mr. Pierre 09-19-2011 01:13 AM

Tag Titles: Ideal opener. Fast paced, cool spots, and the ending told a good story that progressed into the main event.

IC Title: Solid match, but I really don't care about Ted Dibiase. So bland. I can't deny though that they put on a good match, but Ted's lack of character helped a lot of people (including myself) not care.

US Title: Ok multi-man match that kept the Swagger/Ziggler storyline going. Nothing too special though.

WHC: I really enjoyed this one. Great match by Orton/Henry, and I'm really looking forward to the title reign. Not to discredit Henry, because I thought he was great, but Orton is really becoming WWE's workhorse that can adapt to anyone's style in the ring. I couldn't say that last year.

Divas: Better than their Summerslam match, and it helped that the crowd was really into it. I wasn't a fan of yet another 'roll up' finish though. Regardless, they are in the midst of putting together a really good series of Divas' matches.

WWE Title: Pre-match was pretty lame, but to be expected. Match was great, but not a fan of Cena winning. Ah well. If WWE's plans for HIAC and Vengeance consist of 2 more Cena/Del Rio matches, then I think they should have waited for Cena to regain, but if not, then I get it.

No DQ: Awesome brawl and a fun cluster. It felt very "Attitude Era" to me and I had fun watching it. Who gives a shit about 'overbooking' if it's done with wrestlers that are all in the same storyline? It was obviously done to plant seeds that HHH/Punk are going to have to join together to take out a bigger group. Punk kicking out of the Pedigree was awesome btw.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. Not MITB status, or even Summerslam status, but definitely a solid show :y:

Aguakate 09-19-2011 01:23 AM

I wonder if there'll be a Triple Threat at the next PPV?

Nash vs Punk vs HHH

Mr. Pierre 09-19-2011 01:33 AM

Orton/Henry in HIAC seems to be the only definite. The RAW side is really unpredictable for a PPV in 2 weeks.

The MAC 09-19-2011 02:27 AM

this just turned into Dallas. Johnny ACe = J.R Ewing

#BROKEN Hasney 09-19-2011 02:30 AM

Oh noes, what a horrible ending. Guess we'll have to have a re-match in an environment where no-one is supposed to be able to interfere. Like HIAC. In 2 weeks.

Wait

Mr. Nerfect 09-19-2011 05:15 AM

The results seem a bit surreal to me. I guess John Cena is the poster boy, so putting the WWE Title on him makes sense in that regard. But wasn't a big part of Del Rio cashing in to have him head to Mexico as the conquering WWE Champion?

Maybe they'll give it back to him in Mexico?

Skippord 09-19-2011 05:26 AM

Del Rio is meaningless

MARK HENRY IS WORLD CHAMPION WOOOOO

#BROKEN Hasney 09-19-2011 05:31 AM

Fucking Mark Henry. Guess we'll get some more stupidly slow paced matches now. I'd rather have a spot fest champ than Henry.

Jack Evans for WHC.

Rock Bottom 09-19-2011 05:34 AM

Somebody got day ass kick. Somebody got day wig split.

Volare 09-19-2011 06:02 AM

Me and my roomie enjoyed the PPV. Skipped the Cena/Del Rio match to pick my gf up from work. Was very happy with HHH/Punk. Fun match to get into.

Rammsteinmad 09-19-2011 07:03 AM

Another solid PPV from WWE. Enjoyed the tag title match, and the ending sold the whole conspiracy thing well. IC title match was really good, and the US title match was fun, hopefully both title scenes' respective storylines will continue. Don't usually care for Divas matches, but the crowd being heavily behind Phoenix got me into this one. WWE title match was good, with the usual spots etc, ending was kinda disapointing though. And the World title match was actually very good. I'll give Henry his props, and I was (and still am) on of the doubters. Orton going down defiantly was great too, and certainly put Henry over huge.

I agree with Mr. Pierre about Orton, last year I kinda thought he was a bland 'different match, same routine' kinda guy, but he has really excelled this year. His feud with Christian bought a lot out of him and the guy has really stepped up in the ring. Really digging Orton right now.

The No DQ match was great. Kinda gutted the one-on-one stuff didn't last longer, and those two were really going at it. But the clusterfuck ending had me glued to my screen. The ref hitting Miz was unexpectly awesome, and overall the ending was completely unpredictable.

Overall a great show. Once again WWE has stepped up for a PPV. This is a very nice change from what we've been getting the last few years. Every PPV this year has been freaking amazing with the exception of Wrestlemania (sadly). Solid in-ring action and solid booking. :y:

Rammsteinmad 09-19-2011 07:06 AM

This PPV also has me pretty excited about Survivor Series. Was kinda shocked that HIAC is only two weeks away, but there's enough intertwining storylines right now to make for some interesting Survivor Series matches.

Shadrick 09-19-2011 07:37 AM

My Falcons won, and Mark Henry is the WHC. Life is good.

Rammsteinmad 09-19-2011 09:14 AM

Also, dunno if it has been mentioned in this thread, did anyone see someone had a sign that said 'I wish Benoit was here'.

Corporate CockSnogger 09-19-2011 09:15 AM

I think Sheamus is my favourite face in wrestling right now.

#BROKEN Hasney 09-19-2011 09:16 AM

I like Sheamus, but Uncle Furgus' Green Testicle was the first silly Irish folk story of his I laughed at.

Corporate CockSnogger 09-19-2011 09:18 AM

It's not so much his little Irish family tales, it's more that cheeky Irish smirk he has while talking. Also he should definitely start every promo with "what's the craic?"

Chavo Classic 09-19-2011 09:30 AM

I feel bad for telling Blakeamus I was going to rape his eyesockets after reading his bio. Sounds like a lovely guy

Londoner 09-19-2011 10:00 AM

Haven't watched the rest of the ppv yet but Punk/HHH was great, everything you'd hoped it would be.

#BROKEN Hasney 09-19-2011 10:31 AM

Paul Heyman weighs in

"I had to flip from watching Inglourious Basterds to see HHH vs CM Punk. Fill in your own punch line for that one, folks! I thought they (and all the others involved) put on one helluva show. It took 3 Pedigrees and a Jack Knife to beat Punk. I know a lot of people are pissed Punk got pinned, but if you're going to get beat, isn't that the way to do it?

As with everyone else, it's all in the follow-up (right, TNA?) ... let's see what they do tomorrow night on #Raw. Hey, I hashtagged #Raw! Ah, it's only been almost 5 years since I left. Maybe I've mellowed just a little. Nah

#BROKEN Hasney 09-19-2011 10:34 AM

Also, seems like Nash took a big shot.

Right after Nash was hit with the hammer, I was watching Cole & Lawler with my binoculars and I saw Cole write something down on a notepad and showed it to Lawler. Lawler showed to one of the ring techs who ran towards the back. After the match, Nash remained on the floor. Someone from the back came out with the ring tech and then someone did the X sign with their hands. About 4 others came out to assist Nash who was still laying down. Even Lawler came over. Nash finally sat up and was holding his head. He was wobbly when he stood up and needed assistance to get to the back.

Xero 09-19-2011 10:51 AM

LOL

#BROKEN Hasney 09-19-2011 10:54 AM

Dude, concussions aren't funny.

Xero 09-19-2011 10:55 AM

I just find it hilarious that he can't do anything without being injured.

#BROKEN Hasney 09-19-2011 10:57 AM

Chris Nowinski frowns on you.

Xero 09-19-2011 10:57 AM

And I give him the big 'ol thumb's up.

Corporate CockSnogger 09-19-2011 11:31 AM

It was just terrific selling on Nashs part, I'm sure.

Innovator 09-19-2011 11:48 AM

Nash is so great at selling he actually becomes hurt. He tricks his own body.

CSL 09-19-2011 12:11 PM

yah, I heard paramedics and a coroner showed up on The Punisher set after his death scene

Nark Order 09-19-2011 03:40 PM

You know, they probably just should've let the two best performers in the company have a wrestling match. At the end of that match I thought I was being sucked through a wormhole to a WCW PPV in 1999.

What's wrong with just letting people work? Dunno. Just didn't like this one.

Londoner 09-19-2011 04:21 PM

Just seen the tag team title match, couldn't help but laugh at miz/truth getting screwed. Nice reversal of the usual face/heel stuff just to further their conspiracy whining.

Well now they can sell HHH v Punk one-on-one again. Perhaps in an environment where "nobody can get involved" *coughHellInACellcough*.

Londoner 09-19-2011 04:32 PM

Impressed with Ted Dibiase. He'll be useful if they fucking use him for once.

be lying if I said I didn't pop for that

Londoner 09-19-2011 06:12 PM

Gonna guess Miz calls that ref out tonight and challenges him.

XL 09-19-2011 06:14 PM

I figured he'd call out the ref that "screwed" them in their Tag title match...

Rammsteinmad 09-19-2011 06:19 PM

That was so unexpected it was incredible.

Don't even know that Ref's name either. I reckon it'd have gotten a bigger pop if it was someone like Charles Robinson.

CSL 09-19-2011 06:26 PM

Scott Armstrong, Road Dogg's brother. Used to be a wrestler hence the punch looking great, decent chance it looks like ass if Lil' Naitch throws it

thedamndest 09-19-2011 06:26 PM

Isn't he an Armstrong?

thedamndest 09-19-2011 06:27 PM

Yes he is.

XL 09-19-2011 06:28 PM

And it's not surprising people don't know his name given that WWE made the pointless decision to stop mentioning their refs by name.

Xero 09-19-2011 06:36 PM

Didn't Armstrong "feud" with someone on SmackDown! for a few weeks? I'm thinking Punk, but I think I'm wrong.

Edit: It was Punk.

Lock Jaw 09-19-2011 06:37 PM

Yeah, it was Punk.

XL 09-19-2011 06:52 PM

Was that during the screwjob "submission" win over Taker?

XL 09-19-2011 06:58 PM

What is this?

<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/n32G_ELRLGU?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/n32G_ELRLGU?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

HHH and Scott Armstrong's paths cross many years ago? C-O-N-spiracy!

Poit 09-19-2011 06:59 PM

Yeah. Armstrong was the ref for that match.

Londoner 09-19-2011 07:00 PM

Holy shit. It all makes sense now.

XL 09-19-2011 07:03 PM
