I don't know how I never came across this band before, particularly as it has a member of Pig Destroyer in the band. Absolutely bonkers. lol

it was a bit off putting for me at first too. kind of like it now. but only in moderation.

It was warm out today so I cruised around in my car, spinning disc 1 of Black Sabbath's live from Asbury Park, NJ from 1974. Great tunes.

I don't mind bits and pieces of thrash, grind, black and death metal, but doom metal and stoner metal are what I prefer at the moment.

i've been listening to some blackened and funeral doom lately. absum and tyranny to be specific. still haven't really tried out stoner metal/doom. i'll get there eventually. i've also contemplated moving into power electronics and harsh noise wall, but i'm not sure i'm prepared for all of that yet.

I tried grindcore once and hated it.

I'm going to do a critical analysis of Black Sabbath's first album for one of my college courses.
