I think that what Kal is saying is that Yale has stated that his version of Alan is the homosexual version, and coincidentally posted the sunrise pic. It wasn't a snap inferrence from an unrelated thing. Yes, it could have possibly been stated clearer, but c'mon, I got what he meant.

Yale drew that for the recent supreme court ruling and then clarified his version of Allen is gay when people asked. I suppose I could have made the news more clear. Also thank you, Tom. I get so very misunderstood.

Nothing much. In fact the DCAU was his primer for all things DC, he wasn't a comic book reader before then. He just... started to make a strip. I thought it was cool and posted them in DC Thread. And here we are. Begging for an animated series.

For not knowing how to draw horses, he did pretty good..

Geeked about thd Major League reference. I think all those kids were Indians, but I haven't seen them in awhile to be sure. "Wild Thing" shirt is Sheen like Lock Jaw said, Black kid with the box is Wesley Snipes, cap and swearshirt is Tom Berrenger.

I *think* the short kid with the cap is Cerrano, but I don't remember if he was a character in the first film or not. And since he isn't being snarked at by a Japanese kid, I'm even more unsure.

Fucking animate this, WB.

It would be cool if she somehow named his pitch "The Terminator 01" to begin with. ("If you get a piece of it, you can rename it.")

Not so sure about pushing the spoiled kid aspect of Bruce. The pompous knowitall thing was conflict enough.

Don't think it's spoiled kid as much as Bruce having a taste for the finer things in life, and hence, slightly snobbish attitude. Merely an observation here, but rich kids generally tend to have that, and then largely grow out of it / become humble as they reach adulthood.

Just a tiny note but I love the 'paper' effect he added on the strips in the last year. Takes me back to those days reading strips every week on sundays.

I like that detail as well, but it reminds me more of getting the old, print-on-pulp, coverless comics I'd get for like 5 to 10 cents apiece from thrift stores and such that started my journey. Especially with that "back issue" tag Yale stuck on this one.

Side effect of having a lot of comics with no covers: there was a LONG time I had no idea they were numbered. I didn't understand why there was stuff like [*see issue 16 - Denny]... I was like "how are we supposed to know which issue was 16? I went by the story titles since that was all I had to go on. I didn't bother reading most "letters to the editor" type pages, either, so I still didn't catch that SOME series (not all) put the issue number on the small print credits at the end.

No Yale did NOT throw in Supes BvS landing.
