Good ending, show flowed really well. I wish they would do away with the Slammy's unless they make them legitimate. Have an awards show during the week of Wrestlemania celebrating the previous years achievements. Otherwise, get rid of them. When the Bella's won, I almost puked.

I thought his promo was freakin' awesome. Great emotion and you can tell that he meant every single word he said.

Also I had my doubts until tonight but there is no way Bryan is done with the Authority after all that. No way. This Wyatts deal was just a place keeper from the looks of it. Good Deal.

Cena is on the coat tails of Daniel Bryan, kind of weird saying that, but the fact remains Cena was being boo'd heavily until he brought in Bryan.

It's probably a good sign when RAW has been over for more than a half hour and I'm still thinking 'damn, that was a good ending'.

So much WMXXX potential in under 2 minutes.

By kill a promo you mean, REALLY SOLD THE NEXT PPV, then you're right.

I didn't give a fuck about TLC until the very last segment of RAW tonight.

Fucking Epic.

Bit miffed they could only spare a lousy graphic and a few seconds to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela. OK sure they had no obligation to do so with it being a wrestling show to which Madiba probably had zero connection. But when Bin Laden got killed they celebrated it to the point that it was nauseating. The way they carried on it was as if McMahon and Co had apprehended him themselves. Frankly it verged on total ridiculousness. Sure it was great he was captured and killed but why go on and on about it on a wrestling programme?

My point is if they were going to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela they could have at least done so at the start of the show rather than midway through in between some insignificant match and at least spared something a bit more elaborate than a lousy graphic. They ram Beat Bullying down our throats but here was an example of the most significant figure in history who stood up to prejudice and bigotry and appealed to millions if not billions worldwide and a significant number of Americans and WWE fans.

Oh well.

Holy shit, that John Cena promo just makes me hate the fuckers who despise him because he's "the man" more and more. There's seriously no one nearly as worthy of being the face of the company more than Cena. I find it quite funny when John Cena says nice things about Daniel Bryan, but then he's totally shunned from the title match.

I hadn't watched RAW in probably at least 4 weeks. Turn it on see a very boring and random show only to finish VERY strong. Great segment to end the show and Cena, Orton, everyone involved in the segment did great.

After they went off-air, Cena challenged Orton to a match. Orton got DQ'ed with a chair and left. Cena brought out Bryan for pops and Booker T came out to call everyone out and do a spinneroonie. Then we left.

He manages to get the crowd going for him like that a lot. And it's always awesome.

Kinda feeds to the theory I made a topic about a while back that most people just boo Cena out of habit nowadays.

I'm sure that's part of it. John Cena being the top guy constantly does get a bit exhausting for some people, though. People even got sick of The Rock hovering around that spot too much.

That's more the fault of the way he's been booked at times being mundane. I think people understand though that Cena himself is pretty awesome and should be the top guy.

Bryan is definitely over, but let's not forget that he was in front of a "hometown" crowd that night. He's not as over as that EVERYWHERE. Still more than most, though.

I was cracking up when JBL was talking about the name Rybaxel and how he came up with it before the commercial break, then he was saying how stupid the name was when Cole brought it up after the break. Seemed Heenanesque, in a sense.

Can't believe how over Bryan is, although of course it was pretty much a home-town crowd. Cena, however bland at times, surprised me with a promo right on the money, and his command of a live audience cannot be underestimated.

Even Blandy managed to get through his promo pretty well.

Yup, JBL has saved commentary on Raw. It was so much better without Lawler as well, they really need to find him something to host every week. Maybe re-open WWF New York and send him there.

Yeah, they were in Bryan's hometown, but the chants and the cheers for Bryan are pretty consistent. It's not the first time "Daniel Bryan!" chants have crashed a segment starring someone other than him.

And the WWE should have known that would happen. As JR has alluded to, the WWE has been conducting market research with Daniel Bryan for some time. They put him out there in the main event segment in Seattle and he also won the Slammy. Plus they managed to turn Shawn fucking Michaels heel against him. Bryan will have something very important to do at WrestleMania XXX.

Random thought: I'd love to see Jerry Lawler as a heel manager. I'm not sure how much heat King can get in today's day and age, since he's so beloved and all, but Lawler managing the team of Curtis Axel & Ryback would make them instantly more interesting.

I cannot remember a time that Daniel Bryan didn't get this type of reaction.

I understand that this was a hometown crowd type of intensity, but Daniel Bryan has definitely endeared himself to the WWE Universe.

Couldn't help but think they could have got some more former champs to turn out for the Ascension Ceremony.

Backlund, Bruno, Austin, Edge, Slaughter, Flair, Dusty, etc.

I do think that having a few more champs in there would have made the moment far more special. I hate to say it, but it felt like half the ring was filled with mid-carders.

Should have flown out Chris Jericho to cut a promo where he would be like "You're good kids, I've been where you are right now, fighting to be the undisputed champion.... only I had to do it in two matches in one night.... against two of the biggest stars ever.... but what you guys are doing is great!"
