So he doesn't get a title shot, but he can choose anyone he wants. So why can he not just choose the champion?
Called it
This is how I should have felt when Real American stated to play.
Soooooooooooo. We ain't getting Batista vs. Lesnar?
Goddammit, I see it coming from a mile away and it still gives me goosebumps. TAKER!!!!
*gong*
The undertaker is brought to you by just for men beard coloring
Is Taker going to get a sponsorship from Just for Men beard color?
IT'S SANTA CLAUS!!!!

Still time for naomi to come have a match?
Nice neck tattoo (again), Deadman.
Here's your Wrestlemania XXX ending:
Batista over Orton to become the New WWE Champion Daniel Bryan over Triple H to become an A+ Player & gives the crowd a huge pop after shitting on Batista winning. In the Main Event, just as Lesnar is about to end the streak, Batista comes out & costs Lesnar the match. Undertaker wins, keeps his streak and sets up Batista vs. Lesnar at Extreme Rules for the title. Thank you & Good night! |
Undertaker looks like a LVL 55. Death Knight
Nothing wrong with that |

Waiting for Taker to draw a knife and sign in his own blood.
Pen stabbing is the new streak
Chokeslam!!!!!?!!!!
I watched all of raw except the last 15 minutes as I had an appointment at the hospital. Pissed I missed Taker. Good thing I DVR'd it.
Ooooo nice chokeslam
Fuck this match
Well, at least we ended strong.
HAHA! Holy shit chants!
I thought he was gonna do the Kane thing LOL
And now to the post show brother
'Taker wins again at WrestleMania?
I don't think that counts as a legally binding signature
That's how I should have felt when Hogan came out. My childhood came alive in an instant as I was excited for a man who is well past his prime, clinging to the belief that he's still atop his game.
Alex Riley is back!
glorious
A-Ry is back on the panel now that Raw is off the air.
I've watched the ending 3 times, those holy shit chants were in sync with his taunt
Can't stop laughing He's sticking his tongue out and ppl are chanting that shit The way he looked at the sign like wtf sign? |
needs to get in the gym and on the vitamins quick time tho, never seen him close to that small before
Good idea keeping Alex Riley off of the actual show.
So, point of order - are we supposed to talk about the post-show in the Raw thread?
I'm talking about it
lol Ric Flair. "Is there another sport alive right now!?"
No, Ric. There isn't. |
That ending was great. The booking leading into that match signing was amazing.
Yet the WWE gives the Universe not what it wants. |
A-Ry definitely wouldn't be good enough for Backlash then.
Hey man should be going berserk his meal ticket is injured
Lol the pen is still stuck in his hand |

Dolph and Xavier woods interview..
Can't hear a word Dolph said |
Xavier Woods jacket....amazing
Hmm. Seeing Lesnar getting helped on the post-show makes me wonder...
Are these live post-shows gonna spell the end of post-Raw dark matches? It would be weird having these guys work a post show from the arena while there's another match going on in the background. |

Yo, do you know if 2 people can be logged into the same account on the WWE network at the same time? I wanna share this account with my friend.

Cena said he popped his knee during the single leg take down

Since it seems HHH/Bryan is locked in and a title match stipulation seems very unlikely, at this point the best case scenario to save the WM main event from the horrendous Batista/Orton would be to have Punk return in Chicago, drop a pipe bomb about how Batista and Orton suck, and work his way into the main event somehow.
Probably won't happen, but still a WM main event is probably the only way Punk would consider returning at this point in time. |
double posted for some reason
Lol, so much for the concept of backstage interviews
So, when Batista does his promo on Smackdown will they pipe in cheers for him or run with #Bootista?
Cena fears Freight Train sign one of the top higlights tonight.
anybody know why Alex Riley was booted off the show after being in the pre-show? lol
Because he's an embarrassment.

superstars is on tv still?
So so so so pissed if its Bryan vs. HHH is at Wrestlemania and Daniel Bryan. 95 % because Daniel Bryan isn't in the title match and 5% because its a terrible title match without him.
HHH Vs. Daniel will probably have some sort of gimmick where he gets a title match in the future with no interference allowed.

I keep seeing dislocated knee for Cena, which is 6-8 weeks recovery time, as long as nothing broke, so Super Cena should be able to go at WM. I still immediately think ACL anytime you hear knee and swelling but maybe they dodged a bullet

What does Jesse think of Triple H and the Authority?

Big E vs Cesaro match was good. Ouch at that Neutralizer.
Probably the best for Cena is to take a real break after Mania and not rush back like every other time. Assuming it doesn't heal well, quickly going back to the Shield vs Wyatts feud would be a great Plan B option for Mania. The setup for this year's streak challenge was random but really interested in how they handle the actual match. Taker barely recovered in time the last time it was a physical style and using Lesnar would be a waste if its too methodical. |
I don't see why they didn't just have Heyman say "Lesnar doesn't just accept less than making history. So if you wanna keep him out of the title match, he'll take that other coveted prize that has so much sentimental and monetary value to the WWE. The streak."
I don't see why Taker would be the one pushing for the match. |
He still hates Paul Heyman over last year
Taker needs to know if he can beat the baddest man on the planet. He needs to stand up for the company he helped build -- one that Lesnar and Heyman want to eat the fruit of without putting in nearly the same effort that Taker perceives himself to have put in over the years.

3.5 YEARS IN THE MAKING |
Quote:
In the ring, the guy is nigh brilliant. For some fucking reason, for a while he was a guy with his smaller-than-most-stars frame doing a Spear. I don't know whose decision it was to go that route with him. But for the most part he has great matches. It's that they usually lack a story that lets his direction down. I've actually been uncomfortable hearing JBL on commentary rip into Christian's appearance. It just seems unnecessary. JBL should be a guy that is putting Christian over as a guy who is a survivor from his era. He's a guy that everyone said was too small to make it, and then had to watch as he's won twenty championships in the WWE, two of them World Heavyweight Championships and see him outlast everyone single one of his critics. That's a Christian that has value to the upper mid-card/main event scene of the company. Vince apparently has a thing against Christian. The two have worked together on the air and Vince has kept the guy employeed for as long as he's wanted to be employed. Hell, Christian left the WWE in 2006 and Vince let him come back in 2009 and he's been there since. He's even had two World Title reigns and got two runs with the ECW Title when it was a brand too. So it's not the sort of heat that will prevent Christian from contributing to the company as long as he wants to. But it just seems like the WWE wants to keep all the tools from him, besides his ring skills, that will allow him to actually really connect with people and make people want to buy the yearly Christian t-shirt. Last year, I was over the moon when Christian earned a World Heavyweight Title shot against Alberto Del Rio at SummerSlam. But it didn't seem right. Rob Van Dam was way more over and was fresh off returning too. Wouldn't Del Rio vs. RVD had made more sense? I'm not complaining Christian got an opportunity, but it just seemed so random. I really think that Christian might be the most weirdly used talent in WWE. It's like they want to say "Fuck yeah, look, we've given you Christian. He's a big star," but then they want to constantly remind you that he's not a big star. It's honestly like an abusive relationship where they WWE says they love Christian, and they occasionally give him gifts, but they cheat on him with his best friend constantly. It's just fucking weird. More and more I'm starting to see Christian get the blame for this too, and that kind of frustrates me, because whenever the guy is given an opportunity, he runs with it. The guy never has a bad match and never does a bad job on the mic. In fact, he always does a good job. He was the only guy who got to cut a pre-match promo before the Elimination Chamber, which is good; then he got to pin Sheamus after a crazy spot. Also good. But it's like the WWE wants to use those good things against him by saying "Well, we gave you a chance to draw, but you didn't." But then they want to keep giving Christian more opportunities. It wouldn't surprise me if Vince McMahon liked sitting opposite Christian and just staring at him for hours, not knowing what to think of the guy. The WWE almost seems to have this weird obsession with Christian. An obsession to have him just...there. The idea of Christian becoming a Paul Heyman Guy is actually a really fucking good one. Christian is desperate at this stage of his career. It wouldn't be a reach to imagine Christian selling out to Paul Heyman to get himself an opportunity. Christian can talk on his own, but he doesn't, so Heyman can do that. It might get Christian some lines on the side. He can get smug, but he can also keep his current serious shtick. Heyman might also "re-brand" Christian. I just find it odd that Christian has never changed his ring name. The idea of having a WWE Champion named "Christian" has just always seemed odd. Sheamus also has that, I guess, but there's something to Sheamus just being Sheamus. Christian could really use new theme music and new attire, but an aesthetic fix is only going to work if he gets some sort of direction about him. |
I'm excited that we seem to be heading for a Real Americans split. The split for The Prime Time Players and Tons of Funk haven't gone well, but Cesaro and Jack Swagger are on a different level. I'd like to see it over the Intercontinental Title, but if they do a Money in the Bank Ladder Match (I know the PPV is still around, but I can see them doing one here), then Cesaro and Swagger being in that would make sense.
You'd think if they wanted Cesaro to be the IC Champion, they'd have had him win the title on RAW and have the seeds of jealousy planted. But I guess it could still happen.
It'd certainly be a hot way to open RAW in Chicago.
Lost in Everything that happened last night, it dawned on me they didn't mention Viscera.
Couldn't have that sort of negativity on WWE Network day.
They could have made a video for black history month and used him..
