Oh sweet Jesus. And Kalyx, I agree. Her dirty witch form was sexy as fuck.

$43 million this past weekend. Think that's around a 70% drop from its opening weekend I believe.

Destor 08-15-2016 05:15 PM

67% officially the third largest drop ever behind BvS amd FanFourstic Four in that order.

Watched a home camera version online because I didn't think I'd enjoy it enough to spend the money to see it, yet wanted to see the hype was about.... I wasn't a huge fan and was glad I spent the money to see Sausage Party instead.....

SS made $6mil yeasterday on its 3rd friday. Tim Burton's Batman made $6 mil its 3rd Friday without being adjusted for inflation.

So this is pretty much the first superhero/comic book movie I haven't been to see in cinemas since Catwoman. I usually make a point of seeing all these types of films but there is just nothing about this film that interests me. Didn't get any excitement from the trailers, and all the feedback/reviews has hardly swayed my opinion.

Anyone feel like I'm missing out here?

i feel ya, it's been sitting on my HD for a while now and i still haven't seen it. rewatched civil war and apocalypse but didn't give this one a shot. just... don't feel like it.

You're not missing out. It's a boring, choppy, convoluted mess. There's some ok cues to the comics, but that's it.

Rammsteinmad 08-20-2016 02:49 PM

This is also an absolute internet sin, but I don't give a fuck about Margot Robbie.

Damian Rey 2.0 08-20-2016 02:57 PM

Nah. She's pretty and all. But who isn't these days? She did well with she was given but there's nothing interesting to see there.

Wish they'd give the animated series guys a shot at live action. Batman, Superman, JLU, Young Justice, so many great stories within them.

Give those a guys a chance to turn the ship.

Keep forgetting to post this. One huge reason I enjoyed this was because of the main SWAT guy. He is the one male cop in The Killing tv show and he was so damn amazing in it. When I noticed it was him in the movie I popped a little.

On second viewing it's dawned on me that the stinger is really a tease for a potential SS vs JL event movie. Outside of doing a Crisis movie, this is the closest DCCU can get to an event film in the likes of Civil War.

Damian Rey 2.0 08-23-2016 12:08 AM

The JL would mop the fucking floor with these guys. Diablo is the only one with a shot against any of them.

Kalyx triaD 08-23-2016 12:35 PM

If Waller had dirt on the same meta humans Bruce looked into, which the stinger confirms, I'd hazard a guess she has counter strategies in her pocket. Remember for a brief while she had a witch who, if all of Superman's weaknesses carry over from comics, could have gave Superman some trouble. Batman and Deadshot never finished their bout. A recouped Suicide Squad after research on the JL may be a more even match then you think.

Damian Rey 2.0 08-23-2016 02:14 PM

I'd be down for a Ben Affleck v Will Smith movie.

drave 08-23-2016 04:48 PM

Batman/Deadshot would be great.
