Corndad 11-22-2015 10:37 PM

Already????

Dark One 11-22-2015 10:38 PM

Well. That was a thing.

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 10:38 PM

Yay... we're getting a cashin.

Frank Drebin 11-22-2015 10:38 PM

How long was that? 8 minutes?

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 10:38 PM

GET OUT HERE LOBSTERHEAD

RaginRonic 11-22-2015 10:38 PM

Triple H beat down of Reigns w/ Sheamus cash in next?

Emperor Smeat 11-22-2015 10:38 PM

:| That's it?

Corndad 11-22-2015 10:38 PM

As much as I hate Reigns I hope Sheamus fails if cash in

Dark One 11-22-2015 10:39 PM

Not even a false finish on the spear. Nine minute match. Oof.

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 10:39 PM

THERE ARE NOT YET TOO MANY LIMES OUT HERE

OssMan 11-22-2015 10:39 PM

I think everyone was perfect in tipsters

Only 10:40

Most ppvs end like 20 mins early though

What Will happen

Boring ending to match

Short match,.. all the other matches were long

slik 11-22-2015 10:39 PM

WTF he beat Dean easily in like 5 minutes. So dumb WWE.

Lock Jaw 11-22-2015 10:39 PM

Well.... It was a good match that just kind of.... Ended. Anti climactic.

Corporate CockSnogger 11-22-2015 10:39 PM

The brauds match lasted like 3x the length of the main event

slik 11-22-2015 10:39 PM

owenbrown on suicide watch r/n

Maluco 11-22-2015 10:40 PM

Horrendous PPV, probably showcased everything that's wrong atm, pretty depressing stuff.

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 10:40 PM

COME ON DAMMIT

Dark One 11-22-2015 10:40 PM

Daniel Bryan winning the title after two matches at Wrestlemania 30 this ain't.

May have been match of the night, too...

RaginRonic 11-22-2015 10:41 PM

Waiting on Sheamus....

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 10:41 PM

Reigns is gonna eat a Pedigree.

OssMan 11-22-2015 10:41 PM

Confetti match would be cool

Corporate CockSnogger 11-22-2015 10:41 PM

Yessss Triple H could save the ppv

Corndad 11-22-2015 10:41 PM

Pedigree coming

Lock Jaw 11-22-2015 10:41 PM

Triple H please win the title now....

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 10:41 PM

Payback for shunning the offer to be the new corporate nutsack adornment.

Dark One 11-22-2015 10:42 PM

Pinning him in the confetti would have been amazing.

Triple A 11-22-2015 10:42 PM

cool with all the confetti and stuff

Triple A 11-22-2015 10:43 PM

lol

Corporate CockSnogger 11-22-2015 10:43 PM

Sweet

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 10:43 PM

Was hoping for more of a match.

Dark One 11-22-2015 10:43 PM

Crowd barely popped for a cash-in and win.

KIRA 11-22-2015 10:43 PM

HA HA cashed in on twice

Emperor Smeat 11-22-2015 10:43 PM

Doesn't Reigns have to be up for the cash-in to happen?

They change the rules just as much as Big Show does his turns.

 at even Sheamus' cash-in being anti-climatic

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 10:44 PM

Still that was a good finish.

That was never a rule.

Lock Jaw 11-22-2015 10:45 PM

Now Roman gets to be a two time WWE Champion fairly soon!

Dark One 11-22-2015 10:45 PM

I give this show two Ric Flair jacket swings out of ten.

OssMan 11-22-2015 10:45 PM

Why didn't they make it longer

Jazzy Foot 11-22-2015 10:45 PM

Please not another Authority v Face storyline. Still getting over the Bryan storyline. Maybe Sting v Sheamus?

Maluco 11-22-2015 10:45 PM

Of course it is anticlimactic, he loses all the time and hasn't been pushed since he won the briefcase. It is even more baffling now

That's what the MITB deal is. Do some research.

KIRA 11-22-2015 10:46 PM

Oh god please tell me I get my Sheamus v Brock match

Lock Jaw 11-22-2015 10:47 PM

Roman gonna cry

Dark One 11-22-2015 10:47 PM

As much as I make snarky remarks and post stupid GIFs making fun of the shows, I try to have fun and find some enjoyment in the shows.

Not a lot to find here. Divas match was okay, but not the type of match you'd expect a BLOOD FEUD to lead to. There was just no heat on anything all night, and it didn't help that everything was short and telegraphed.

Corporate CockSnogger 11-22-2015 10:47 PM

Would def have been a more interesting ppv if Isis attacked

So we're going to get Roman Reigns overcoming the odds, winning another Rumble, and winning the belt for real at WM 32 (likely against Lesnar as I just don't see how you don't put Lesnar in the main event at this point).

That just doesn't interest me at all. Nothing on this show did. They had a chance to get me invested in the product again and whiffed majorly.

I'll probably give the Rumble a courtesy watch because it usually makes for a fun match on its own, but I just don't care about anything in the current product.

Corporate CockSnogger 11-22-2015 10:51 PM

Next time i consider checking out modern day wrestling, I will def just put on a bunch of gay porn instead.

KIRA 11-22-2015 10:52 PM

You said it was baffling. So basically you're confused by something that's happened plenty of times in the past. What exactly is baffling about a guy not getting wins and then cashing in MITB at an opportunistic moment to win a title?

Emperor Smeat 11-22-2015 10:58 PM

Wonder if Rollins didn't get hurt that Sheamus would still cash-in for the ppv. Was a mistake giving him the case but couldn't see them waiting till Mania as a back up plan for the cash-in to happen or him failing it.

Also get the idea of them wanting Reigns-Triple H to be the new Bryan-Authority and Austin-Vince mega feud but it feels way too forced to work.

Dark One 11-22-2015 10:58 PM

Tried to watch Breaking Ground, because it started with Jordan and Gable. Then I made it through like 30 seconds of Mojo before saying "I'm done with WWE tonight. Off to watch Jessica Jones in 4K."

R.I.P. ratings.

slik 11-22-2015 10:59 PM

For the first time since the Monday Night Wars prob taking a break from WWE. Will give tomorrow a shot and if it sucks I'm not watching until the Royal Rumble/Brock Lesnar shows up. Horrible main-event scene, Sheamus/Roman both boring af.

Are there any other promotions out there r/n that are cool?

Dude, there are people who died young who would have loved to have had another few minutes of life and you just wasted moments of time on Earth to graphically describe your indifference to a bunch of strangers.

All I'm saying is be grateful for the time you have.

Look, we can discuss its merits and its place on the scale of the best ways to do things - at which point we'll probably agree that there are a shitload of better ways to do things - but if you didn't see it coming or don't see how it fits the pattern of MITB cashins, then I don't know what to say to you.

Think you are arguing a different point entirely, I meant it was baffling to think that Sheamus cashing in will work, or even have the pop of excitement after the way he has been booked. We have a midcarder as champion and no major stars.

It is baffling that the same old stuff keeps happening, yet different results are expected. Don't know how you can't see how illogical booking might be baffling, no matter how many times it is done.

Jazzy Foot 11-22-2015 11:19 PM

I hope Sheamus' title reign doesn't last long. Worst gimmick ever and I can't bear another long winded face v authority storyline and neither do I want Reigns to win the Royal Rumble again.

I honestly thought Ambrose would have screwed him over.

Also is it just me or is Sheamus appearing scrawnier than before?

Damian Rey 11-22-2015 11:21 PM

What a lame duck main event. Not only did they give Reigns the boring win everyone saw coming a mile away, they have him immediately drop it to an even less interesting and near zero credibility heel who hasn't done jack shit.

Interesting to here CyNick try and spin this into a positive.

Maybe that's why they've done it? They were going to let his character build but given Rollins' untimely injury everything got rejigged? Sheamus may not be champion for long but it at least removes the briefcase from the equation now. Once he drops the belt he's out of the title picture again and imo quite possibly for the final time..........

It maybe sets the way for a Shield title match at WM 32 a triple threat etc?

Jazzy Foot 11-22-2015 11:22 PM

On another note I really do hope we get clarity on Sting's future soon-ish.

Kill two birds with one stone? Reigns finally won the belt he was "supposed" to win in 2014, Sheamus cashes in, we can no reset the storyline. Reigns pummels Sheamus at TLC and walks into 2016 the WWE Champion awaiting the winner the RR possibly Brock Lesnar....possibly John Cena.....perhaps a Shield triple threat?

I reckon Cena v Reigns .

Jazzy Foot 11-22-2015 11:26 PM

I see a win as a win. Roman Reigns won the RR and the WHC in the same year and may yet end 2015 as the champion. Can't complain.

I'd say at least with Sheamus he's already a multi-time champion, and was clearly set up to be the new Authority Boy. They've replaced Rollins with a guy who will fill the role in the same way, in a sense a step up since Sheamus does have that history. I don't know where they want to go from here but Sheamus is clearly going to serve as a placeholder between now and the beginning of the vaunted "Road To Wrestlemania." I see him losing to Reigns at some point as Reigns turns heel.

I guess the reason I don't find it baffling is that this is pretty much what I expected. This is what they tend to do in these situations; they move into a holding pattern until they can put themselves back towards where they wanted to be. I have a feeling that this would have happened even if Rollins had stayed healthy. Sheamus with the title isn't supposed to "work" in that he isn't supposed to go on and be a great champion. It's supposed to serve as a starting point to build something else. He's going to end this year and start next year the same way Kurt Angle rolled in late 00 early 01.

Simple Fan 11-22-2015 11:33 PM

Not much to say about the show, I guess Sheamus is better than having Reigns as the Champion. Sheamus is going to draw heat so I guess that's a good thing. TLC main evented by Sheamus and Reigns should be boring.

Theo Dious 11-22-2015 11:34 PM

Also - 2/3 of the shield have now won the WWE WHC, when will Ambrose get his turn?

Definitely wasn't time for Reigns. He needs to find his niche before he has a real run.

KaosDarksol 11-22-2015 11:37 PM

The title match itself was good. Predictable yes, but good. I just hate it when MITB gets cashed in on a new champion. They could have at least done it tomorrow at the end of Raw. Overall it was a pretty standard/ kinda boring PPV. Best moment being the double chokeslam to Strowman or the Edge and Christian Promo with them imitating the Wyatts.

I mentioned Sting having a brief title run in another thread and there was agreement that a feud with Sheamus might work. Reigns and Lesnar would be far too physical but I think Sheamus could carry him assuming he comes back.

People might think I'm being far fetched but I do feel Sting has a place in the WWE title picture should he return for what will be his final 'final run'.

Until Reigns is firmly back in place expect the next 6 months to have many champions I.e. I see the belt changing hands a few more times.

Jazzy Foot 11-22-2015 11:40 PM

Did Undertaker and Sheamus ever fight?

Simple Fan 11-22-2015 11:41 PM

I guess their going with super face Reigns as well. After not turning heel tonight I don't see him turning with Sheamus being champion. Really should build the Wyatt Family up and have Reigns win the title at TLC. Then have Wyatt booked strong until Seth comes back and have the Wyatt family beating down Reigns and Ambrose only to have Rollins return and reunite the Shield. After they defeat the Wyatt's have the Shield triple threat for the title.

Damian Rey 11-22-2015 11:41 PM

At least Roman would be new. Sheamus has had several runs as champ and they've done nothing for the fans or his character. I just don't get it.
