Or, given that these videos are part of "Season 1" on Youtube, they are banking on multiple seasons and will unveil Lui Kang later.

VSG 05-31-2011 09:17 PM

Also, Goro is a big name still left :foc:

Emperor Smeat 05-31-2011 10:42 PM

Goro got his ass beat by Johnny Cage in the original Mortal Kombat movie and everyone usually beats up or kills Cage which shows how bad Goro was. :p

Kalyx triaD 05-31-2011 10:53 PM

He shouldn't have crushed those $500 shades.

VSG 06-07-2011 06:40 PM

Season finale supposedly to be out during Comic Con, July 4th week.

Reavant 06-07-2011 08:23 PM

XL 07-02-2011 01:26 PM

Almost forgot about this entirely.

VSG 07-02-2011 02:52 PM

Gah! I thought you had posted the finale that might have been released earlier.

About time!!

VSG 07-23-2011 08:40 AM

Ya. I am pretty convinced there will be a season 2 at least as long as someone continues to fund this.

Kalyx triaD 07-26-2011 06:48 PM

That was badass.

It looks like Warner Bros might be expecting consumers to help fund the next season because they recently announced the first season will be available on Blu-Ray for $20 on November 8 and a potential DVD version later.

Seems they have gotten a little better.

Rammsteinmad 08-12-2011 03:39 PM

Wow, totally didn't realise these were even out yet! Just caught up with them all today. REALLY liked the first two. The Johnny Cage one was pretty cool and that last one with Cyrax and Sektor was fucking awesome.

I liked all the other ones too, the Raiden one was pretty cool, but I was under the impression by that original trailer/sample thing that these were set in the real world?

Either way, these are good and I hope they continue.

Jura 08-12-2011 03:42 PM

Yeah it's supposed to be a more realistic approach to MK.

Rammsteinmad 08-12-2011 03:50 PM

Except for Thunder Gods, Queens transferring their souls into their daughters and sorcerers turning into ninjas and freezing people. :shifty:

But seriously, they're all good though. So I'm not really complaining.

Though I was looking forward to Raiden being something like this:

You got your wish, fanboys.

Deadline reports that New Line Cinema will reboot the Mortal Kombat film series, and have hired Kevin Tancharoen to direct.

Tancharoen, as you may know, also helmed the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth short film that became a viral video sensation as well as the Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series that it spawned.

Oren Uziel, whose horror mashup script The Kitchen Sink made the industry's highly coveted Black List of unproduced screenplays, has been tapped to script the film. Although its plot is being kept under wraps, The Hollywood Reporter claims, "There is no actor attached and the new story will not serve as an extension of the game or digital series."
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
