1 bonehead decision by Henson (tries to catch air ball and misses with 0.5 sec left) and almost another by him (potential goal tending) almost gave away the lead to Washington had the last shot been a 3pt and not a 2pt attempt.

Henson played like a jackass today, why the hell would he try and touch that, and why was he taking 18 foot jumpers in the first half? Marshall had 14 assists, but he needs to protect the ball more, still makes way too many stupid passes. Refs wanted to even out the fouls to start the 2nd half lol.....too bad they didn't bother to make up for the missed goaltending call against Washington in the first half on a foul of Zeller. |

I'm shocked, yet not surprised. He and Summitt are practically royalty on that campus. But he did fuck up a few times too many. I bet he'll bounce back at another big time program after the tournament is over. |

:D Duke's eliminated. A bit of a head scratcher for Duke to do late fouling and TOs when coach K decided to quit a minute later.
Wisconsin fell apart badly in the 2nd half. I think the announcer said they were 1 for 16 in shooting and barely getting 1 point a minute. Butler definitely now part of the powerhouse for mid-majors along with Xavier, Memphis before last 2 years, and Gonzaga. |
Im kinda surprised Arizona pasted Duke so handly...and Wisconsin was getting hammered early in the 2nd half and they've managed to hang in vs Butler but I dont think theres enough time left.
