That was a ridiculously expensive episode of Raw.

Dunno about the end, really. Rock deserves something like that, I suppose, but come on. There should have been SOME angle there. Not a literal birthday celebration.

With that said, other than the last segment, this was one awesome RAW.

The stuff at the start was overkill, and the thing at the end was nice, but not interesting. Best parts of the show were John Cena vs. The Miz, Kong, and R-Truth.

Best part of the show was me visualizing the confetti/balloons/fireworks being last night when Christian won the title.

I thought the beginning was very classy. The end was as well. They had a couple of decent matches, and also tried to create some new programs. The Rock's birthday segments ran a little long, but I enjoyed the show. Just not as much as I enjoyed the new epsiode of Chuck!!!

Would've been better if Cena showed up and gave Rock an Attitude Adjustment through a table with a birthday cake on it. Build the damn feud!

I thought it was a huge stroke to Rock's ego to have a party with no angles involved. A little too much. And this is coming from the biggest Rock mark on these forums, aside from Rock Bottom.

After watching the Kingston/Rey vs. Drew/Swagger match, RAW is starting to feel like Smackdown now. It's nice to have a new roster on RAW now.

Also, the New Nexus seems totally pointless. Just like someone posted earlier, it feels like nWo 2000. I don't know, I just don't see anything special with Mason Ryan. Just your average generic roided up big man. A poor man's Batista. Unless they give him a better gimmick and personality. He needs a fucking haircut. His moveset and finisher sucks too. They need to do something better with him. But I'll give it a chance. Remember, Batista first started out as Deacon Batista.

I was really bummed out when the New Nexus came back after Wrestlemania. Was just kinda hoping they'd stay gone.

I think Deacon Batista was his best work.

The only thing I had a problem with Raw was: they didn't have Truth debut whatever new heel music he was going to have. The debate continues....

i love kong/kharmas music..fits her gimmick/her perfectly. i also loved how you could hear truth say "who gives a fuck" during the attack and the refs breaking it up. kelly kelly is rediculously hot...wow. miz and cena put on one hell of a match and i seriously hope they do not plan on putting that title on cena for nearly a year. by the way during the ppv i love how much emphasis they put on cena not bein champ for 10 months. like seriously im almost willing to bet 10 months is one of the shorter time periods inbetween heavyweight title runs.
