Really big fan of the WM X-Seven Rock-Stone Cold match.

XL 10-01-2011 07:14 PM

I preferred the match at 19.

mike adamle 10-05-2011 12:18 AM

The 19 match was great, I just liked the drama within 17, the heel turn had me on the edge of my seat.

mike adamle 10-05-2011 06:31 PM

We gonna get another match this week?

Londoner 10-05-2011 06:50 PM

One more match....One more match....One more match....One more match!

mike adamle 10-11-2011 02:18 AM

#60 is a little underrated, in my opinion.

mike adamle 10-14-2011 12:37 PM

I liked the Hardcore Heaven RVD-Lynn match better than the Living Dangerously one.

mike adamle 10-27-2011 07:02 PM

So how about a new match this month?

mike adamle 10-30-2011 07:34 PM

New match before the end of the year?!

Londoner 10-31-2011 05:44 AM

Think were gonna have to take drastic action and neg rep the fuck out of him until he gets back to this.......;)

Rammsteinmad 11-12-2011 01:19 PM

Unless #1-wwf-fan is dead, there is no excuse for why this hasn't been completed/added to yet.

XL 11-13-2011 04:24 AM

Be fair, the guy is busy organising enough coke to get Jake Roberts to attend his Survivor Series Party.

This.

All good though! New matches up soon!

This will be completed before Thanksgiving. You have my word TPWW!

Rammsteinmad 11-17-2011 12:01 PM

When is Thanksgiving?

Ruien 11-17-2011 12:11 PM

The last Thursday of November.

DrA 11-17-2011 12:16 PM

Can we expect any Thanksgiving Day brawls in the latter portions of the list

XL 11-17-2011 03:25 PM

No way is this finished by the end of the month.

PorkSoda 11-17-2011 07:56 PM

We'll probably get a marathon of matches on Thanksgiving.

The Ultimate Warrior vs Randy Savage (Retirement Match, WrestleMania VII, 3/24/91)

The match was awesome. Unfairly or not, I MAY rate this higher because of the stuff with Liz and Randy after the match though. COME ON. Beautiful.

Bret Hart vs Steve Austin (WWF Survivor Series, 11/17/96)

The match that laid the bricks for the greatest double turn of all time. This was genuinely the first match I ever remember rooting hard for the heel and against the face. I was still happy with the outcome. Awesome match with one of those "down to the wire" feels.

Triple H vs Cactus Jack (WWF Title Hell in a Cell Match, WWF No Way Out, 2/27/00)

I know most people prefer the Rumble match. I loved the emotion of this one though with Foley putting his career on the line. Not to mention the through the cell spot and Foley finding it in him to get up. This was the match for me that officially brought Triple H to that next level.

Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper (WWF Intercontinental Title Match, WrestleMania VIII, 4/5/92)

Two of my favorite wrestlers ever. Not a long match but such an awesome story was told in the time given. Piper being torn when given the chance to go back to his old heel ways and ending up falling just short was genius.

This list is on fire.

Londoner 11-23-2011 02:26 PM

Keep going!!

Anybody Thrilla 11-23-2011 02:32 PM

No. Please stop. We need time to recuperate.

Ric Flair vs Barry Windham (NWA World Title Match, NWA Worldwide, 1/24/87)

The best of a streak of great matches these two put on and it was free on an episode of Worldwide. Went to a TV time limit draw and might actually be higher on my list if it had an ending. Instead, it served to just add fuel to the fire of an already hot feud revolving around Windham dead-set on finding a way to beat Flair for the title and Flair constantly finding a way to escape with it. The match itself isn't online for some reason but it is on the "Ultimate Ric Flair Collection" DVD. Instead, I'll just post a video of another stellar match between the two from the same year that shows how well they worked together. Some actually consider this one to be the best match between the two. Flair definitely brought out the best in Windham and vice versa.

Edge & Christian vs The Hardyz vs The Dudleyz (WWF Tag Team Title TLC Match, WrestleMania X-7, 4/1/01)

The addition of Rhyno, Spike and Lita randomly in the match, the atmosphere, and the fact that I thought there was no way E & C would win it AGAIN made this match stand out so much. One of the highlights of arguably the greatest PPV in wrestling history and everything a TLC match should be. Intense from beginning to end.

Eddie Guerrero vs Brock Lesnar (WWE Title Match, WWE No Way Out, 2/15/04)

Eddie's world title win. I wish it could have worked out for these two to have a nice long feud because they just meshed so well together. Loved the false finishes at the end even though I could not have dreamed that Eddie would actually pull it out. Brilliant.

Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker (Hell in a Cell Match, WWF Badd Blood: In Your House, 10/5/97)

I have a feeling a lot of people are going to find this match either too high or too low. I'm not sure which. I thought it was a classic and still unmatched as far as HIAC goes, but I just never could quite put it in the upper ranks. I think as an HBK mark, I hated the heel turn initially so much that it kinda deterred me from liking it even more. Still, one of the better performances of HBK's career. This is one example of a cheap finish actually being perfectly acceptable though with Kane's debut being such a major part of WWE history.

Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho (WrestleMania XIX, 3/30/03)

Obviously some back to back HBK is to be expected. This is one feud that couldn't be rehashed enough. Two of the greatest wrestlers of all time putting on a clinic for one of the greatest WrestleMania matches of all time. Awesome out of the blue finish, too.

#25

Randy Savage vs Ric Flair (WWF Title Match, WrestleMania VIII, 4/5/92)

Yeah, it could have been better only because of the AMAZING build and the fact that it was Savage and Flair at WrestleMania. It had a lot of expectations to live up to and while many might find it too high, I wasn't disappointed one bit. Should be thought of as a classic all things considered. Not to mention Heenan on commentary being brilliant.

#24

Shawn Michaels vs Mankind (WWF Title Match, In Your House 10: Mind Games, 9/22/96)

Maybe the most interesting blend of styles I've ever seen in a match and probably the best pure wrestling match of Foley's career. It had an odd ECW-like feel to it for some reason. A great mesh of hard bumps and story telling. A legit ending could have been nice but for a transition match as both men were just waiting to start bigger feuds, a DQ was fine I guess as the post match brawl was fun as well.

Royal Rumble Match (WWF Title Match, WWF Royal Rumble, 1/19/92)

Flair working with a plethora of different styles, heels and faces from a great era of WWE for an hour plus. Amazing.
