It may deserve it's own thread, but it works here, as well.

Also, I didn't write this, but I'm sure a few TPDub folks will think I wrote a part of it.

I'll go ahead and say Luke Harper.

I think he'll be a solid IC champion one day (if he hasn't already.........I haven't watched WWE programming since last April), but I can't see him progressing beyond that level.

He *might* get a transitional world title run at one point, but I highly doubt it.

I honestly believe he'll top out at the Kane level, with a solid 10-15 year run.

And there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with that.

That's not exactly "no future".

True,

I probably do need to rephrase what I said.

I think the point I was trying to get at, was that I don't think Harper will get to the heights that maybe the WWE and certain marks project him to ascend to. At best, if we're being optimistic, I think Harper has a minor shot of being in that 'Alberto Del Rios/Sheamus' category where he'll get to a certain level, and then the WWE will have no idea what to do with him. This is if we're being optimistic.

A worser case scenario is that he ends up in the Val Venis/Santino Marella category where he gets to the IC level and has a decent run, but then eventually fades into obscurity and ultimately gets released.

It's possible, but I don't think it's likely.

I think Rusev is your next generation's Kane/Big Show (i.e. scattered world title reigns, with decent enough credibility to be perceived as a viable threat even if his ultimate role is to put over emerging talent).

I hope I'm wrong about Harper, but I think there's a great risk of him not being relevant in a few years once he's had a few decent runs as an IC champ and Tag team champ. #SantinoMarella

The Asscention I feel like after this run they will just turn out to be about like the Highlanders

The Condor 02-08-2015 01:27 PM

Ascension is already DOA, in my opinion. And I wish I meant the Crush-led biker gang from 1997. Those guys at least seemed like legitimate bad asses.

No one has a future. Wrestling is a depressing wasteland.

Fan just hit the Fall of Man on everybody. He was born to rip and shred dreams. Welcome to the Wasteland.

DAMMIT I POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG THING. COCK!!!!!

Droford 02-10-2015 07:14 PM

Mojo Rawley & Bull Dempsey

They might be able to carve out a niche on NXT but theyd be DOA if ever called up to the big league.

I actually kind of like Bull Dempseys gimmick which is a shame.

I suppose they arent "current" WWE guys but they have no future in wwe should they ever get there

Mr. Nerfect 02-11-2015 02:12 AM

I think Bull Dempsey could stumble upon magic.
