I don't even need to see someone win the title to signify a rebirth of the division or anything. There's just nothing to any of their characters. They're all beating and losing to each other. Everyone has looked relatively equal. There doesn't seem to be any real heat. It's just... the same blandness with different divas.

I would say that the "new" women have won almost every time. The teams are splitting wins, sure, but it's primarily been the new ones going over.

I'm pretty sure they've all lost once already. Some of them have been tag matches, but still. It's kind of a clusterfuck of equality.

Simple Fan 07-27-2015 10:26 PM

This should be good if Owens doesn't run or Sheamus doesn't interfere.

Stop being a smark and using smart terms for WWE's midcard like that

Part of why I wanted WWE Paige to win tonight.... to show that she is still the "top dog (face)" of the division.

Emperor Smeat 07-27-2015 10:28 PM

Did Cole just called Orton "Cena"?

lol. I'm trademarking "clusterfuck of equality" for use in place of "midcard" in WWE.

I do like that Sasha winning gives it that kind of "anybody can win" kind of feeling....

One of the things I enjoyed way back in the day when I actually watched and enjoyed TNA (ie, when Christian was there), was that in a lot of matches you couldn't tell who was going to win a lot of the time, and that a lot of them were presented as being in a "clusterf*** of equality"...

Innovator 07-27-2015 10:30 PM

Owens loses to Cena, loses feud.

Welp, to the clusterfuck!

Lock Jaw 07-27-2015 10:32 PM

Just realized this match is battle of the chinlocks....

Lock Jaw 07-27-2015 10:32 PM

Both masters of the chinlock....

Its 3 vs 3 vs 3. You can't have one team dominate the entire thing if you want to drag out the feud. Eventually one team looks superior but that won't happen right away. Paige should have won since shes the leader of her team though.

Lock Jaw 07-27-2015 10:36 PM

Those matches are more effective when two guys are on a warpath and then collide in a "who can keep it up?" type of match.

When everyone seems like they can beat everyone else, no one gets over. It's like "Cool. You beat that guy. But you lost to him last week, beat the guy who beat him the week before and lost to the guy who lost to the guy who beat the guy who beat him the week before. Who gives a shit about the outcome of your match next week now? You're clearly not gaining or losing anything from it."

#1-norm-fan 07-27-2015 10:40 PM

Wait, I tuned in late...

... Cena vs Rollins for the US title is tonight???

Feel like they can't actually have this match end legit.

owenbrown 07-27-2015 10:42 PM

Cena saying he's going to shock the world?! :wtf: :nono:

Lock Jaw 07-27-2015 10:42 PM

Would like to see one of those days #1-wwf-fan fantasy book the WWE for like six months....

Lock Jaw 07-27-2015 10:43 PM

He's only been back in the "main event" for two weeks and I already miss Cena in the "midcard" where he was doing fantastic work....

I've started with TEW before. I get bored quickly though when I realize how long it would take to realistically make everything the way I want it. As tempting as just putting the world title on Johnny Curtis the first night I start booking is, there's a ton of work to do to fix shit.

Ruien 07-27-2015 10:47 PM

I think he is going to put over Rollins at SummerSlam. Doubt they will have Cena win the belt when its not the main event.

Ruien 07-27-2015 10:48 PM

Also believe Reigns will be the next champion (If not then Brock).

Lock Jaw 07-27-2015 10:49 PM

CHAMPIONSHIIIIII

Emperor Smeat 07-27-2015 10:51 PM

Seems like a no win situation to have Rollins-Cena happen now and not at Summerslam unless there is going to be some sort of no contest swerve.

If Rollins pulls off the shock victory, makes no sense for him to put the WWE title on the line later while Cena winning would just prove what he said about Rollins being a weakling and just be a formality before he gets the WWE title in a few weeks.

I'm actually thinking Cena wins, Rollins has to "prove himself" at SummerSlam and somehow escapes with the title again.

Lock Jaw 07-27-2015 11:00 PM

At least we won't have to see John Cena sell the curbstomp..... Only good thing about it being banned....

Who is Rollins facing at SS anyway

Simple Fan 07-27-2015 11:02 PM

Cena after he earns it tonight.
