I guess the tag match.

I mean, if it's not just between those two options, I'd prefer they were actually creative enough to build heat without having guys face each other constantly and then try to act like it's a big deal when they do it again on PPV... but yeah.

Innovator 10-13-2015 10:26 AM

I miss the days of huge tag teams matches main eventing PPVs in order to prolong feuds

XL 10-13-2015 10:31 AM

Can't wait for next week's "Legend Panel"!!

Yeah it depends.

I think they want to put Rollins in a fight where he will go over clean but they also want to make people think Kane will win. Then when Rollins does win it seems like a big deal. Trouble is Kane isn't the most credible challenger these days. But at the same time, how many vets do they have that Rollins can work with. Jericho would be nice in that spot.

Rammsteinmad 10-13-2015 01:53 PM

I'm annoyed how everyone is scared of Demon Kane. Because Demon Kane hasn't really been a monsterous threat since like, 2004 perhaps.

Definitely one of those angles where you have to suspend disbelief. They sorta tried to tie everything together with the mask. Mask = Demon Kane = Unstoppable for a couple months.

XL 10-13-2015 03:12 PM

So Seth just needs to pull the mask off?

Well i mean that's the whole storyline right? Kane stole the mask from Steph and that allows him to turn into the monster.

I could see the mask playing into the matches down the line.

I liked it when Paige won the Payday Most Unconventional Superstar Award. I just wish she had put it over more, and maybe reference how she was the first NXT Women's Champion and now the first Payday Unconventional Superstar. She could be the woman of firsts in WWE. Then she could laugh it off, so no one thinks she's too serious.

Mr. Nerfect 10-13-2015 08:17 PM

Reigns vs. Strowman was a great choice for a brawl in Chicago. It may not be the viewers' cup of tea, but putting it in front of a hot crowd like that was definitely a good way to promote these guys. I only wish Reigns got a bit longer to explain his motivations.

Mr. Nerfect 10-13-2015 08:18 PM

I think The Dudleys should have put The Ascension over so that they can have fresh challengers once they win the Tag Titles at Hell in a Cell.

Mr. Nerfect 10-13-2015 08:20 PM

Cesaro looked pretty good in the ring, but he still lacks any sort of personality or connection to the crowd. He was trying too hard to look like a bad-ass in there with Sheamus. He shouldn't be trying to grab the brass ring like that. More guys need to grab the brass ring, but only when they are scripted to. Neville getting beat so quick is good for him, because people will eventually feel sorry for Neville. Maybe they will bring back the Cruiserweight Division for guys like Neville and Stardust?

Mr. Nerfect 10-13-2015 08:22 PM

Brie Bella got the win in her tag team match! Drama! More contenders is just what the division needs.

Mr. Nerfect 10-13-2015 08:23 PM

I really think they should have put Rusev over Ryback and Kalisto over Kevin Owens. Set up those title matches, boys! At least they got it right in the Divas match and main event.

Love you too, baby.

Mr. Nerfect 10-13-2015 08:39 PM

The great thing about Kane beating Seth Rollins clean is that it keeps Rollins a heel. You can't have him getting too much sympathy against a monster. Now people think he's weak, so they're going to boo him. Now people think Kane is DEFINITELY going to be winning the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell, and when he doesn't, they will be SURPRISED. Brilliant move right there.

Damian Rey 10-14-2015 01:26 AM

Noid might be the sexiest man alive right now.

#1-norm-fan 10-14-2015 02:32 AM

I have the ruggedly manly trait of having won a REAL figh recently though so, I don't know. Noid's a close second maybe.

So in essence "HE JUST PINNED THE CHAMPION, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THE PPV?" is supposed to actually be a selling point this time?

Agreed. It's a good way to build up a challenger. I would expect Rollins to win the blowoff and establish his dominance. I mean it would be silly to have a challenger pinned by the champion before a big title fight, right?

Sounds like you would prefer to see a bunch of matches where nobody ever loses. Maybe constant DQs would appeal to you. Ahhh you would probably just complain about that too. Can't win sometimes.

I agree with the level of sarcasm in this post.

It would be silly to have the match happen period but that didn't stop them. lol

Normally I would agree. But it's a case by case thing

In this case I feel like the story is Rollins keeps escaping Kane, so he took advantage of a situation. On top of that, Kane to me is a cold challenger even though the storyline is fun. So in that case you need to heat up the challenger. I think the end of this is Rollins beating Kane multiple times (I see it ending in an ambulance match either on RAW or at Survivor Series), so nobody will remember the previous non title matches.

Corkscrewed 10-16-2015 05:43 PM

I think CyNick vs Noid is the feud of the year.

Simple Fan 10-16-2015 06:34 PM

owenbrown vs socks is going to be hard to beat.

Nah. Too one-sided.

I'm with Simple Fan on this one. Owen vs Tammy. Shit's white hot.

I'm just thankful to be mentioned in the same breath as poster the caliber of Noid.
