Was struggling a bit when they were actually "wrestling", but once they left the ring it started to pick up.....

Think the whole thing needed to have more "banter", more like the "final battle in a superhero movie" and less like a "wrestling match".

Still, I dunno man.... I may have skipped most of the show, but I kind of want to tune in to see what Matt Hardy does next.

It seemed like he finally "relaxed" on the mic alittle bit. He was a lot better than he's been in the past.

I actually think he's gotten ALOT better this year since they have given him a mic. I just think it's his "tone" if it's the right word. He just is a soft spoken guy.... and it seems off considering he's 6 foot something and looks like he's chiseled out of stone.

Strongly disagree. Just give me a story about how Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn can't further their careers until they vanquish one another once and for all and sprinkle in some fatal 4-way matches for the Intercontinental title after some Wyatt promos, and I'm set. That Hardy shit is pure garbage.

Agree, the build was funny as hell. I expected the match to be more brutal but I liked it. Nothing in WWE is that funny except a few New Day promos.

I agree a lot of people watching shot on him but I thought it was a regular heel champion promo. I've heard a lot worse in WWE.

I think he's finally finding his "voice" in the ring as a heel. If you go back and watch the promos leading up to Angle's final match against him, he was struggling horribly on the mic, that was only a few months ago.

Do you have a brother, Brother Thrilla? I think this is channeling something with sibling rivalry that every pack of wrestling fan brothers could admire. Let's just go all out with our inside jokes and egomaniacal behavior and show the world what brothers do when a title or career is at stake.

There's a place for ridiculousness like this, and the fact they've committed to it has made it "work." Two or three hours of this would be atrocious, but twenty minutes of intentionally bad over the top shit can work.

There is like 4 of them now. I think the fourth premieres later this year on Syfy.

Glad Sharknado was brought up because yeah, it fits that hole nicely. But something awful does have a level of entertainment that becomes non-ironic. I've watched this 4 times already because I'm blown away by how seriously it takes itself and then it just stops being terrible, but you just find yourself appreciating it.

I guess it's angle of the year, I don't think you could really call that a wrestling match. It was just pure entertainment.

Haven't heard anything like that. I imagine Jeff becomes Willow full time while the Broken Matt Hardy character is still around. I guess Jeff could be heel as well and they could team again.
