For the first time since October 21, the Colorado Avalanche will have Paul Kariya, Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg, Milan Hejduk, Teemu Selanne and Alex Tanguay together in the lineup when they face the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight. Kariya has not played since October 21, when he sprained his wrist in a 4-1 loss to he Boston Bruins. It was the second time he had injured the wrist this season and he will wear a brace on it tonight for extra protection. Kariya has three goals and two assists in seven games this season, his first with Colorado. "It's ready to go," Kariya told the Denver Post on Monday after practice. "It's strong enough and no more pain. It'll be nice to get back out there. I've watched a lot of hockey this season and want to play some for a while." make sure you dress him if you can punk  |
Couldn't :$
*dresses him now* |
aaaaand he scores :'(
Oh well, still got a Blake PP goal, assist, and 6 pim  and Selanne  |

BOUCHERRRRRRR!!! Better pick up RN!
|
Cech's supposed to play tommorow night I think.
Finally my team is starting to get healthy, I just wish Yashin hadn't gotten his damn wrists slit |
It showed Yashin's injury on TV 2niiiiite, that looked painful :$
Cechmanek played tonight, Huet got pulled :o |
Argh, damn Lalime. I knew I should've put him in today. I am short on my games goalies have played this week and I don't think Gerber or Conklin are playing. My bet is on Conklin, since it is a back to back but do they want to rest Salo after the performance last night?
Anyhow, if I get my butt kicked by losing goalie stats - be warned. I am goalie shopping for a decent #2 so that I can wait out Turek's injury status...whenever he's playing again  |
I am pissed off, I never realised that I only had 2 starts this week, and I have lost (unless my players get a lot of PIM) so I want a starting goalie. I may be willing to move Jeff Hackett also, if that interests anyone.
Damn you Esche and Grahame, I hate you both  |
I NEVER thought I would say this but thank goodness for Gerber :D He started, giving me the three games I needed this week - phew...
Ant, I would offer but Turek is still hurting, Lalime is my number one and Conklin and Gerber get nothing for playtime now that Giggy and Salo are doing better. |
Ant I offered you Zhamnov and Caron for Tucker. I don't like to publically discuss my deals, but I hope others will give you feedback should you think it's bad.
We both seem to agree Bondra & Salo for Leclair & Wooley so what's so wrong about the second half of the deal? It gives you a goalie, who's not great but in a pinch can give you a start if you need it. Plus Zhamnov. He's been injured, but always puts up decent numbers and now that he's healthy should start again. What I'm trying to do is get a versatile player and open up a roster spot. I tried to explain this in the email notes I sent with the trade offers, but I get no responce. Hopefully I'll get some here. |
That is odd, I don't think I got any email notes, i'll go and check.
My main thing with Caron was that with Fleury coming back, he might not get many starts, and also he'll have a big GAA :$ The only problem with moving Tucker is that I really need the penalty minutes, other than that, Woolley and LeClair are easily expendable. |
So basically if you still want the Bondra/Salo for Woolley/LeClair deal, then you got it.
I have my eye on a few goalies, I'm guessing you want to hang on to Roloson, so I think i'll keep my goalie deal seperate from this one. :$ |
