I guess Big Show has been kinda directionless and lost in the shuffle on Raw as of late. Spose sending him to ECW can only help both causes.

THing is, with guys like Angle and Show, a move to ECW probably means a massive pay cut. Oh, they'll still get their downsides. But the royalties/live gates etc. are going to be lower (and that's not knocking the success of ECW before it's even started, that's based on the fact that ECW presently only has one PPV a year and runs much smaller buildings than Raw/SD)

Okay, the majority of these guys love their trade. But how many of them would actually do it for free?

That's why wrestlers jump ship, stall in contract negotiations and try their best to get over. Merchandise = money. Championships = money. PPVs = money.

Especially in what should be the more physically demanding company... I wouldn't jump at the chance to do harder work for less money in my job. Would you?
