Played my first Versus match and was promptly tackled out a window by a Charger on Dead Center

Picked this up a little while ago. Gonna be in town for most of the day, but I'll hit it up this evening if anyone wants to join in.

I just hate that they released this a week after MW2. I want this game but I am just now relly getting into MW2

Yeah, everyone here is already way higher than me in rank, since I havn't spent much time on it. Now they are really gonna get ahead. Not to mention the fact that I want to finish my rvd in smackdown, and keep up in tekken.

I don't play videogames that hardcore in the first place, so splitting time is gonna be tough.

Begs the question as to why I buy so many, and I'll get back to you when I think of a witty retort.

Picked the game up at the midnite mayhem thing at gamestop. Wasnt bad...line went pretty quick and we all got free chick fil a.

Im not really a fan of this one as much as I was the first one. The only reason I picked it up is because its the only game my wife will play with me and she enjoyed the first one. She seems to love this one also because we played 2 of the movies last night and today as soon as she woke up she wanted to play some more. Havnt played the final movie yet but Im expecting it to be good.

omg getting the Sob Story achievement would be so easy if I didn't have retarded teammates. And then one I get across the field but a tank comes out of nowhere and smashes the car we were crouched behind incapping 3 of us. This will be me 4th try when really all I need is 1.

This game, as well as Assassins' Creed 2, are catching hardcore MW2 hangover though. People who would be playing this are still stuck on MW2. That's how it is with my friends atleast, 10+ have MW2 and refuse to pick up L4D2 until they tire of that. I'm the only one who prefers Left 4 Dead over Call of Duty, and the only one who owns both :-\

Finally played with people who talk. Completed the Dead Center, Parish, Dark Carnival, and Hard Rain campaigns. Managed to keep everyone alive for the first two, but lost one in the DC finale, and two in the hard rain finale. Makes a ton of difference playing with talkers. Dark Carnival finale is still a bitch, and even with good communication and prep, we needed two trys. And one guy still didn't make it.

Also, did anyone else who played in hard rain encounter over 10 witches? That's not an exaggeration. There were LITERALLY over 10 witches. Most of the time, unavoidable.

Oh yeah, and while startling the witch with a frying pan is suicide, it is also hilarious.

Resisting the urge to frying pan the witch has proved too dificult for me, as of yet.

I like how theres a chronological order in this one. And how in the first level they are "unsure" of themselves and call special infected the wrong names. And the little intro part in the elevator.

And it is frustrating to do the Dead Center finale with no human players because the CPU doesn't pick up any gas tanks.

Did you bring him onto the rescue chopper at the end of the level? Also, were you holding him as the chapter ended?

I counted 15 on my playthrough. :'( At one point, there were 3 side by side. 2 walking back and forth and 1 crying right in between them. Such a bitch.

I found it easiest to just grab the gas cans and toss them over the ledges near the car. Then just shoot up with a shot and speed fill the car with them. It helps if you play a lot of scavenge though too.

Am I the only one that sees a pretty bad framerate drop during the finale of the Parish?

And the lag on this game is horrendous.

Don't get me wrong. It's fun. I love it. But I REALLY hope Valve will do an update/patch to fix lag/framerate issues. And this is a 2 day old 360.

Jockey is some of the most fun I've had in a game. Nothing better that catching someone who checks out a closet too long and dragging their ass waaaaaaaay back.

Charger is fun too, but kinda frustrating when you miss often

I noticed it...but I didnt care much considering I was running trying to get that 3 minute achievement.

Had fun last night with the wife trying to get the Rescue Gnome achievement. The minute the chopper landed I grabbed the gnome and rushed into it while my wife was stuck in the rafters fighting off all the zombies and tank. She was screaming "Come back for me you son of a bitch. Dont leave me here"

me and another guy had made it to the boat in hard rain. One guy got incapacitated, and the other decided to go back and help. Knew they wouldn't make it alone. So I decided to do the hero thing, and go back and help. Then I saw the other guy get incapacited, and he shouted "tank!"

Told them I'd always remember their sacrifice, and got right back on that boat.

Anybody plays this on PC? I need to play with human players. The cpu is fucking stupid.

I've only had issues with lag on the dedicated servers. Try hosting it yourself, it works a lot better. :)

Should we add Steam IDs to the PSN/XBL IDs as well?
