Same here. But I think it's the site. Taking way too much time to refresh now.

worst Raw Thread in the history of TPWW

Triple Naitch 08-10-2009 11:14 PM

Wow, what a shitty Raw. Horrible birthday present, WWE. Slaughter may have been the worst host yet. Even ZZ Top was more relevant. Hopefully Freddie Prinze will be better. I have always enjoyed Summer Catch.

DAMN iNATOR 08-11-2009 01:05 AM

Wow, all this and not ONE mention on RAW by Jericho or anyone else that he has now been in the WWE for 10 years to the day, as of Sunday technically now, August 9th, 1999 - August 9th, 2009.

muffalufagus 08-11-2009 02:20 AM

so it seems once again i didn't miss much by not tuning in?

Droford 08-11-2009 02:27 AM

The HHH/HBK stuff was funny.

The Diva match was actually decent and a surprise ending (I figured Beth Phoenix as the only credible heel would have to win given Mickie is the Champ).

A.) Yes the DX bit was pretty humorous for the most parts, barring the moments where the angry little girl would throw a hissy fit...I almost wouldn't've blamed Shawn had he really kicked her (which he didn't if anyone who watched here last night is too stupid to figure that out).

B.) I had it 50/50 between Kim and Beth Phoenix...I'm sure it won't be too long before Gail is wearing the Diva's strap around her waist even if she has to go through Mickie to obtain it.

Dorkchop 08-11-2009 08:46 AM

The womens' match was great. We can thank Gail Kim and Beth Phoenix for that. I really hope WWE can push and feature the talented divas regularly. They won't.

Raw wasn't terrible. Having a former wrestler guest host helped. I loved Slaughter turning heel. Awesome.

Londoner 08-11-2009 09:15 AM

The raw thread would've been bigger if tpww didn't fuck up i think. As for raw, i liked the show till the last half hour, thought slaughter was good.

Jannettyzilla 08-11-2009 09:23 AM

The Mizark/Hornswoggle pairing has me officially worried for the big man's push. :(

Supreme Olajuwon 08-11-2009 09:28 AM

It shows they don't have anything for him to do at the moment. Henry might be difficult to find a feud for because the only Raw heel that would be on his level right now would be Big Show who's busy with other stuff at the moment.

Londoner 08-11-2009 09:47 AM

Could make henry find an actual tag team partner(maybe mvp?)to face show/jericho at some point. That took me 2 seconds to think of and i bet the wwe haven't thought of it yet.

#1-norm-fan 08-11-2009 01:32 PM

Those DX segments were great. That is all.

Vastardikai 08-11-2009 01:42 PM

1. remember when they wanted to put a guy in a hood, they also made him wear a full body suit? Reason being that maybe they could recognize something other than their face. In part I saw it coming a mile away, but when the Flames Jersey came off, I knew it was the Miz.

2. DX segments were kind of lame. (implied) Child Abuse isn't funny. And it's really a shame that it seems like Legacy was catching fire, because now they're getting buried.

3. You know, it's Canada. We know it's Canada. Just treat it like Canada and don't force them to cheer someone they don't want to cheer. And, it didn't even fucking work. Side note, I quit watching after the promo. I stopped giving a shit.

4. Swagger looks like a beast.

5. Jawbreaker finish for Kim looked nice.

6. I don't give a shit about Orton, but at least make him look like a threat. Countering a chokeslam into an RKO wouldn't have weakened Show that much.

7. The whole G.I. Joe thing would have been better than what we ended up getting.

I thought it was funny cause it was just so unexpected and fucked up.

Also, that little bitch deserved it... just sayin'...

Londoner 08-11-2009 02:40 PM

Quite liked the DX segments...in a strange sorta way.

RatedGSuperstar 08-11-2009 08:57 PM

The sad part is that Impact is starting to be consistently better than Raw. I didn't bother trying to catch this week's episode, and just read the scathing reviews online. Really disappointing compared to where the show was at the start of the year. At least SmackDown is consistently good, ECW's trying to build new stars, and Superstars consistently has good matches every week.

Pardeep 619 08-12-2009 10:42 AM

So I checked on wwe.com and it mentioned that Cena beat Jericho via disqualification because Orton interfered and beat up Jericho. How on earth can somebody lose a match due to interference if they're they person getting beaten up??

Orton didn't even beat anyone up at first he just entered the ring and a DQ was called. And to answer your question: The rules must be scripted in such a way so cena always wins. Raw is going down the shitter, faster than ever before.

CSL 08-12-2009 02:04 PM

Just watched those DX segments. Michaels and Hunter's performances were fine but that was some of the worst written shit ever. It was like something out of WCW in 1993.

Londoner 08-12-2009 02:48 PM

Yeah it was kinda weird, guess were just used to shit written on raw we don't realize how bad it is.

That I agree with. Glad I didn't stay up to watch this shite for once.

lol. They should get a bunch of guys like Jericho together to start complaining about favoritism being shown to Cena by the higher ups.
