If we get good enough pressure and hit his soft ass he'll fuck up

FearedSanctity 11-07-2008 12:22 AM

Damn, when did Denver manage to get Kellen Winslow? Pass interference, fumble and an easy catch dropped. Single handedly cost the Browns the game. Best defensive player Denver had, aside from Woodyard.

Also, Peyton Hillis is still a God.

Splaya 11-07-2008 12:22 AM

Jesus Christ look at all those injuries

Still the best TD celebration ever

FearedSanctity 11-07-2008 12:28 AM

Just actually saw all Winslow's offensive stats. Too bad that despite the awesome game he had, he's still the biggest reason they lost

RP 11-07-2008 12:28 AM

Brandon Marshall is such a selfish idiot. Thank God the Broncos had Stokely on the field ( or on the team for that matter ) because Marshall was pulling something out his pants and he was about to do something really dumb and get a penalty. Is that guy a fucking retard or something? They needed that win and dumbass wanted to give it away and Stokely practically tackled him.

FearedSanctity 11-07-2008 12:30 AM

Noticed that, but if I have to put up with him being an idiot to keep from fucks like Glenn Martinez and Darrell Jackson lining up across from Royal, I'll deal.

FearedSanctity 11-07-2008 12:31 AM

MARSHALL HAD A BLACK-AND-WHITE GLOVE

Posted by Mike Florio on November 6, 2008, 11:33 p.m.
Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall told the NFLN post-game crew that he had planned to display a black-and-white unity glove after scoring the game-winning touchdown against the Browns on Thursday night.
Marshall said that it was a twist on the ”black power” display from the 1968 Olympics.
Brandon Stokley wisely intervened, since it would have resulted in a 15-yard penalty.

RP 11-07-2008 12:36 AM

Why doesnt he just wear the glove. Why does he have to wait for the cameras to be on him. If you wanna make a statement, then make a statement. This guy just wanted attention. But o well. Good think Stokely was there. He could learn from someone who's played on playoff teams and has a ring.

FearedSanctity 11-07-2008 12:41 AM

Yeah, I believe he's getting that from Rod Smith

Skippord 11-07-2008 01:30 AM

I am considering turning my closet into a shrine to Peyton Hillis

RP 11-07-2008 01:37 AM

I am too. He was fantastic.

RP 11-07-2008 01:40 AM

He was all balls tonight. That 4 and 1 play was just him manning up on the Browns. Ofcourse he is a fullback so he should get that yard.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-07-2008 01:50 AM

I can't believe that Peyton Hillis, Darren McFadden, and Felix Jones were in a backfield together and their team didn't do shit.

DaveBrawl 11-07-2008 10:06 AM

Rod Smith or somebody needs to teach Mr. Marshall blocking. Laying your hands on a man then pulling away immediately so your back gets destroyed does not count. Apparently he didn't get that memo.

Adam Schefler (sp?) is reporting the Redskins signed D'Angelo Hall to a 1 year deal..

ClockShot 11-07-2008 05:04 PM

Thanks for coming, Mr. Torain :wavesad:

Nice, a target for Eli to pick on.

FearedSanctity 11-07-2008 06:18 PM

Torain now done for the year, as well. Not surprised if we take Tatum Bell back.

Skippord 11-07-2008 07:38 PM

we'll just have a sack of potatoes for a running back for the rest of the year

I know we've got alot of injuries in the secondary but did we have to pick him up?

Kris P Lettus 11-08-2008 01:28 AM

Prolly hella overpaid him too..

Shadow 11-08-2008 02:27 AM

Well that's Snyder's way. Gives him an excuse to jack up ticket prices just that much more.

Man fuck Hall. We were doing Ok before he showed up.

Gonzo 11-08-2008 02:40 AM

I think he was signed for around 500K.

Mr. Monday Morning 11-08-2008 09:24 AM

Schefter also had a tidbit that Asomugha has only been thrown at 10 times. This SEASON.

Which is insane.

RP 11-08-2008 09:40 AM

He stole that tidbit btw from Dr. Z on Sports Illustrated. He wrote about that a few weeks ago.

Gonzo 11-08-2008 11:12 AM

That is scary good. I saw an article last year about the most thrown on/least thrown on defenders. It was interesting. I can't remember who was the worst by their system, but it was good.

RP 11-08-2008 11:21 AM

It also helped that Deanglo Hall allowed the most catches of any CB in the league so far. Really leaves no incentive to throw to the otherside

Kris P Lettus 11-08-2008 12:35 PM

Kinda like Jason TOAST David and Predator last year.. Predator didn't have a TD thrown on him till like week 13 last year but Toast had like 17..

SammyG 11-08-2008 04:17 PM

lol Jason TOAST David. I love it.

Kris P Lettus 11-08-2008 04:24 PM

It's a national nickname now.. A writer for PFT even uses it..

SammyG 11-09-2008 03:31 PM

HAHAHAHAHAHAH RAMS. First Rams game I have not watched in over 2 years as I had a TERRIBLE feeling. Granted we are without Jackson, but still. This is hilarious, even following it on gameday.
