lol this is far from over.
Brady is fucked regardless. Defensive players are going to try and intentionally injure him constantly now. He's going to take a helmet to the knee and/or face within the first couple weeks. |
lol what, no
it's not like Brady fucked some kids or something I'm pretty sure like 90% of players don't give a fuck |
In fact they're probably glad because this was a pretty big win for the NFLPA over the NFL

Don't really see this impacting the final standings at all. With or without Brady I had the Pats penciled in to get at least 12 wins and the AFC East, just like they always do.
OMG fuck deflate gate who cares the Patriots would have won without the balls being deflated. The patriots destroyed an overrated quarterback and a shit team in general
You bandwagoning again, clark?
Didn't expect the NFL to backfire that badly with the lawsuit. Got almost everything on their side but pulled their own "Brady" moment with not caring or co-operating with what the judge wanted.
How?
F*ck Goodell,,,

Ehh bills will still win their division
They've had one winning season in a decade and only because the Pats tanked the final game on purpose.
Can the NFL now punish the Colts for the ball that was intercepted? You know. The only ball that actually was under inflated? The Colts must have done it.

Whoa, Giants release Steve Weatherford :( despite being a punter he wound up being one of my favorite players on the team. I'll never forget FOX showing him running and screaming "MOTHERFUCKING SUPER BOWL!!!" after the game-winning FG in the NFC Title game.

Teeeeeeebow

 Tebow cut anyway
Quote:
The only reason they would have had for keeping Tebow was to run possible gimmick plays, and doing that means you have all 3 QBs active on your 46-man gameday roster, and it makes little sense for any team to do that. Very few teams bother keeping 3 QBs on their 53-man roster anymore for that reason.
At the same time, Chip Kelly knows that nobody is going to sign Tebow. So if something happens to Bradford they could easily bring Tebow back. He's basically sitting on the Eagles bench for free. |
Still was cut today :(
Looks like he got a year's extra pay though. Hopefully somebody will pick him up for a practice squad or something. |
I read on SI that because he was on the active roster last year, he (and his family) will be covered under the NFL health insurance for 5 years.
Teeebowwwwww
49ers didn't have enough Ravens on their team so they traded for one of their Centers
Redskins should pick him up. He's better than all their qbs
Was happy to see the Giants cut Adrien Robinson early on in the day. He just hasn't worked out, and Reese has an absolute hard-on for keeping high draft picks for their whole rookie contract because he's convinced they'll eventually pan out.
But then they kept Markus Kuhn and Jayron Hosley. |
Also do not understand them cutting James Jones at all. He had a really good preseason and Cruz is still hurt.
Would bet money that the Packers scoop Jones back up. |
Hmm? Wayne probably was a double agent.
NFL considering changing the way they discipline players as part of the aftermath of Brady winning his court case. Owners could either end up curbing some of Goodell's power for punishments or do nothing since they are unsure if any drastic changes will actually get done.
Strangest preseason moves I've seen in a long time. Some are head scratchers.
And in strangest of all moves, Broncos waive Montee Ball. Their 2nd round pick back in 2013.
C.J. Anderson is the future, ladies & gentlemen. |
And Wisconsin RBs continue to disappoint in the NFL.
So your saying Melvin Gordon gonna be a bust too
I don't know, I'm not real high on him but a lot of people thought Ball was going to be that Wisconsin back that succeeds in the NFL and he's already been cut 2nd year in. Gordon has a good chance with the Chargers but we'll have to wait and see.
Simple fan if that guy doesn't like you then it's fuck him and move on there's so many people out there that are going to like you for you.
What in the hell are you talking about Clerk ?
Wow just when I thought Chip Kelly couldn't get any dumber he does it again. First you trade Nick Foles for Sam "Incapable" Bradford. Then you let LeSean McCoy go. Now you cut the best quarterback on your roster? This is why you have to stay as a college coach. You couldn't win in college so what made you think you could make it in the big leagues? Your a joke not only to the NFL but football in general. Lose some fucking weight you lazy bum and study the game a little more and then come back. What a bum.
Pats win it all this year, and the meltdown from the haters and NFL will be great
No the team with the best chance of winning the super bowl is a toss up no dominant teams this year.
Oh right, the season starts tonight.
Don't think I could be less interested in a game. My two least favorite teams. Gross.
Hard to imagine anything other than a Patriots blowout tonight tbh. I think the Steelers will be decent as usual but given the circumstances this just seems to have the makings of a total shitshow.
Hoping for a tie to embarrass both teams.
But you're probably right, Vito

Guess I'll do some predictions:
NFC East: Cowboys Eagles Giants Native Americans NFC North: Packers Vikings (Wild Card 2) Lions Bears NFC South: Saints Panthers Falcons Bucs NFC West: Seahawks Cardinals (Wild Card 1) Rams 49ers NFC East was a coin flip between Dallas and Philly. Gave the edge to Dallas mainly because I can't count on Bradford's health all year. North has some good teams but I just can't think of a good enough reason to pick against the Packers. South still feels like a terrible division, but I think the Saints will rebound from an off-year last year. Seahawks are another team I feel I have to go with but I don't think the Cards are too far behind them, hence the top wild card spot. Have a really weird feeling about the Vikes this year, though I strongly considered the Lions, Eagles, and Rams for that last wild card. AFC East: Patriots Dolphins (Wild Card 2) Bills Jets AFC North: Ravens Bengals Steelers Browns AFC South: Colts Texans Titans Jaguars AFC West: Chargers Broncos (Wild Card 1) Chiefs Raiders I see no reason to ever pick against the Pats no matter how the teams around them may have improved until I see them actually get knocked off of their perch. The Ravens are resilient and always seem to find their way into the playoffs. I'm going against recent history by not picking more than one team from the North but I can see that division beating the shit out of each other. Colts feel like an easy pick, would have considered the Texans if their QB situation wasn't a dumpster fire. Chargers I think are ready to take the next step and end up ending the Broncos' reign in that division. Denver still has a ton of talent though so I can't leave them out of January altogether. Then I'll round off the playoff field with Miami just on a hunch, although the Chiefs, Steelers, Bengals, and even Bills gave me some pause. Oh and Super Bowl...fuck if I know. My first instinct is Packers/Patriots but that just feels like such a ESPN "chalk" pick. So let's go outside the box slightly/all in with my thought that the Bolts are ready to go to the next level and go with Packers/Chargers in SB50. I can't lay money against Rodgers though, so I'll say the Pack win that one. Didn't put a ton of thought into these but there should be some pretty tight races that go down to the wire. |

New Faulk is pretty good for now.

Oooooo this is so sweet.
GROOOOOOOOOONK! |

Jesus Christ, it sure would help if they covered Gronk at some point.

Eli Manning sign 4 year 84 million deal to stay with Giants.

Victor Cruz and Jon Beason ruled out for Sunday.
Welp...here we go again. |
Over under on points scored against the Giants, Vito
39.5. I'll take the over.
I should say...I still feel like they should have enough good pass rushers without JPP, but they sure as shit didn't appear to be ready from anything I saw in preseason, where backups were pushing back the starting D-line without much effort (Markus Kuhn especially).
Tough to see them doing a whole lot against that ridiculous Dallas O-line. Might take a few weeks for the defense to find its way. |
Mike Tomlin is nothing but an Eric Foreman lookalike. Fuck him. Sue him for defamation. Sue em all!!!!!!
lol defamation

"So, Mr. Goodell, the league says the reason that the Steelers got poor reception on their radios last night while the Patriots didn't is because of the atmospheric conditions?"
"Correct." "And why don't we hear about this happening all the time at other stadiums around the league during similar conditions?" "Well, it has to do with sunspots." "Sir the game was played at night." "Did I say sunspots? I meant lunar gravity." "Sir, you expect us to believe that in the wake of so many other transgressions by the Patriots organization? I suppose next you tell us to believe in..." http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...l%20aliens.jpg |

Can't wait to watch KC/Houston and Cards/Saints as my only options.
I get Cleavland and the Jets and Green Bay and Chicago, but DirecTV has Sunday ticket on free trail this week.
Pretty shit lineup for 1pm games here. Wish I had Redzone. Bills/Colts and Jay Cutler playing catch with the Green Bay Defense.

Two probable blowouts.

Randy Bullock misses PAT. Seems like he is the first miss in the new PAT era (error.)
I got redzone on a stream
Sweet
Also it's not Nantz/Simms for the CBS game that tells what they think of the game too.
Antonio Cromartie injured his leg, carted off the field smh
Buffalo scores another TD. Indy down 17-0 karma is a bitch Colts.
Tough news for Jets. Looks pretty bad couldn't put any weight on it. |
Another TD. It is a blowout but in the opposite of expected.
Cool @ Bills / Rex Ryan
James Jones going off in Chicago. So glad the Giants cut him despite knowing Cruz wouldn't play Week 1.
Preston Parker better get 100 yards and 2 TDs tonight. |
It's because Rogers knows him well. Eli probably wouldn't have been able to hit him. It's not like it's a fantasy football team.
Mariota throws his first TD pass in the NFL and Winston throws a pick-6 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 14-0 Titans :D
Saints/Cardinals game "tint" setting is very green........ wish they would fix it... no attention to detail...
I know it's only week 1, but I would love for Tennessee to be in first in the AFC South since the Colts, Texans, and Jaguars ALL LOST
OMAHA!
Aqib Talib just ran one back for 51 yards.
Got ourselves a ball game now. |
