Of course, silly me... I mean it's been soooooooooooo long since he played for the Saints... it's like it's been decades... :nono: years? :nono: umm.. months?

yeah, he was you kicker for 6yrs inculding last season.

Krisp, you can't enjoy the good times if you can't have the low times.

Kris P Lettus 08-06-2007 09:26 AM

WTF are you talking about??

RP 08-06-2007 11:06 AM

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2962811

wow. We're already off to the worst start in the NFL and we havent even played a preseason game. Whats next, Addai tears his knee up before the regular season and we start James Mungro?

SammyG 08-06-2007 11:32 AM

Looks like the Colts are gonna have to score about 35 every game in order to win.

Hanso Amore 08-06-2007 11:46 AM

Ouch, let the Drama begin. I wonder how many bigger names go down.

Colts are going to have a hard time defending. The curse is coming.

RP 08-06-2007 01:10 PM

Well, atleast we have Bob Sanders

SammyG 08-06-2007 01:13 PM

Before he goes down with another injury.

WHO DAT!?!11

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-06-2007 05:38 PM

Also there was a pre-season game on last night? How the fuck did I have no idea there was a game on? Some good promotion by the NFL on that one

Gonzo 08-06-2007 06:16 PM

It was on NFL Network I think.

Innovator 08-06-2007 06:18 PM

Giants vs. Panthers this week, can't wait for the trainwreck of a season to start!

SammyG 08-06-2007 08:26 PM

Got Sunday ticket and NFL Network. For Free. My uncle hooked us up bigtime.

SammyG 08-06-2007 08:26 PM

But since I'll be in college, I'll be going to the sports bar to watch all the games, unless I'm home. I can't fucking wait for this season.

You didn't miss anything..

:shifty:

:(

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-06-2007 10:09 PM

Yeah I got NFL Network at school/can watch it at a bar or whatever but I'd rather have the option of watching it at home if I wanted to. It's not even so much the fact that a few games are only on NFL Network I just feel that eventually this will snowball and the majority of the games will be on NFL Network which you will have to pay like an extra 30 bucks for.

Gonzo 08-06-2007 10:33 PM

I don't think so. I can see this sticking to big games and special events (ie: Hall of Fame game). There would be far too much of an uproar (plus the NFL would lose a ton of TV revenue) because the channel isn't available to the widest audience. Still gay, but realilistically I don't think its happening.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-06-2007 10:50 PM

I dunno they are already taking a home game away from a team and playing it in Europe so who knows what else they will do to the fans

Nervous Ferret 08-06-2007 11:05 PM

yeah but the Giants had it coming because they got an extra home game 2 years ago [/assman]

yo I have been saying this forever, the Superbowl will be on PPV sometime in the next 10 years

mrslackalack 08-06-2007 11:46 PM

50/50 is Strahan right now on to come back or retire.

mrslackalack 08-06-2007 11:48 PM

I know it was preseason but the Saints looked awful last night. The good news for them is they did awful last preseason as well yet had a great season.

D Mac 08-07-2007 03:06 AM

Who Dat

SammyG 08-07-2007 05:36 AM

Rams/Vikes on Friday. My ex is gonna be there, pretty jealous. Meh, it's just preseason. I just hope no one gets injured.

McLegend 08-07-2007 02:17 PM

Preseason football is the worst thing ever to watch. It's very depressing.

You can say the same thing for all Philly sports though

McLegend 08-07-2007 03:36 PM

Not as depressing as having Eli Manning being the QB for my favorite team.

OssMan 08-07-2007 03:42 PM

Remember that time when Eli Manning threw a touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress during overtime in Philadelphia

McLegend 08-07-2007 04:41 PM

And that was like his last good game.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-07-2007 06:37 PM

Not a fan of Eli Manning skills at all, dude's kinda garbage

Kris P Lettus 08-07-2007 08:50 PM

Saints Pro Bwol LT Jammal Brown got carted off the practice field today with a knee injury.. Turns out it is just a bruise on his bone..

Thank God..

mrslackalack 08-08-2007 12:10 AM

Giants players are even getting fed up with Eli as QB. I seen on the news where Shaun O'Hara basically said that the Pillsbury Throwboy aka J-EL-LO aka Jared Lorenzen is the most impressive QB on the team.

mrslackalack 08-08-2007 12:10 AM

I say if the Giants have another a medicore season Eli gets benched or traded and Coughlins def gone.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-08-2007 01:10 AM

If Eli's last name wasn't Manning he would have been benched long ago

OssMan 08-08-2007 01:51 AM

J-Lo is an awesome QB, i have been saying this for some time. Prob a better runner than Michael Vick. He can bust through some dudes

Kris P Lettus 08-08-2007 09:30 AM

V sig V

Actually, if a majority of the games are on NFL network then NFL network will be free with basic cable.

The NFL makes their money of selling advertising, hence the reason to put games on their own network, they get the AD money instead of the networks.

If they make it difficult for people to watch the games and less people tune in the AD rate will go down.
