Did you learn English English or are you just using British slang because I've noticed you've been popping in a word here and there recently.

Watching back to back PPVs from 2009 on Justin TV is really highlighting how terrible King and Cole were as a team back then. Basically two guys sounding exactly the same, using the same tired cliches over and over again. King is especially guilty of repeating lines from the previous PPVs over and over.

So much better nowadays. Still not great.

Also Todd Gresham and JR was a seriously under appreciated duo on Smackdown.

They were pretty shot then, but it's still better than the Michael Cole of now who actually makes me want to skip matches if Booker T isn't there to keep him quiet.

Definitely seems like you can judge how good Cole will be based on his announce partner.

With Tazz and JBL he was pretty good. With Booker he's alright. With King he's just garbage.

Tazz makes anything good. Even made Mike Tenay tolerable as a play-by-play guy the couple of times I watched TNA since he went there.

There may also be a direct correlation between how good Cole will be and how much his announce partner cares about putting over the action in the ring. Tazz cared a ton and so did JBL. Booker cares but he also seems preoccupied with getting his catchphrases out there at times. And King is clearly just interested in getting paid these days.

Just a shame that if Foley is coming back, he won't do colour while Vince is still over-producing.

Watching Headbangers Vs Owen and Bulldog. The Headbangers were awesome and Owen just hit 3 spinning heel kicks in a row. Lock Jaw would be proud.
