FearedSanctity 11-19-2008 07:09 PM

What makes it worse is not only in his career has there been a tie game, but a tie playoff game as well

McLegend 11-19-2008 08:58 PM

When was there a tie playoff game?

McLegend 11-19-2008 09:06 PM

None of those are playoff games.

McLegend 11-19-2008 09:07 PM

You can't have a tie in a playoff game. Which is why I don't get there was a tie in a playoff game in Donvann McNabb's playing career comment.

Kris P Lettus 11-19-2008 09:07 PM

I realize that..

Kris P Lettus 11-19-2008 09:08 PM

If there was ever a tie in a playoff game after one OT, it would go to a second OT, so on and so forth until the game was won..

VonErichLives 11-19-2008 09:31 PM

i guess the only thing he could argue is there has only been one in his career and at the time McNabb was out injured....

that being said, playoff games don't end in ties for the reasons stated above.

What, is that the follow up to How is babby formed?

RP 12-04-2008 07:50 PM

I really hope Antonio Pierce dont get swept up in Plax's mess. I love the Giants this year and they need him. Gotta keep this Manning Superbowl dream alive.

ClockShot 12-05-2008 12:15 PM

Junior Seau is back with the Pats.

ClockShot 12-05-2008 04:58 PM

15 years at the most for O.J. Simpson.

If anyone cares.

Kris P Lettus 12-05-2008 05:05 PM

Judge is forcing the NFL to hold off on the suspension of Will Smith, Deuce, and both Williamses.. All four will prolly play this weekend..

Gonzo 12-05-2008 05:15 PM

Not that it matters, Kris P.. http://tpww.net/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

Big Fat Mike 12-05-2008 10:22 PM

I can't believe that dumb asshole shot himself in the leg..in public...and then probably paid someone at the hospital to register him under a false name. Did he think that the team wasnt going to notice a flesh wound the size of a bullet? Plax has done plenty, but I say it's time to cut him loose , get back his signing bonus, and use some of that 35 mil to keep players that actually contribute to the team around. You know, the Brandon Jacobs and the Domenik Hixons. And for Fucks sake, lock up Steve Smith for 4 or 5 years. The guy is ALWAYS open, and he can be a great future no.2, or even a no.1 with the right coaches around.

FUCK

and rosevelt colvin.

i'm expecting Ted Johnson or Steve Deossie next week at this point.

fuck, I almost hope they miss the playoffs and get a decent draft pick to get a shutdown CB or another LB.

Mayo has been fucking awesome (and people laughed when I got his jersey pre-season).

I thought it was like 30, because they said he can do parole after 1/3 so the judge gave him 30 to make sure he'd serve 9-10yrs.

There's talk the Pats may franchise Cassell if Brady doesn't look 100% for next year... not a bad idea, but requires a lot of cap space and they have to re-sign wilfork this offseason.

I read it was a judge at mn...

I didn't think a judge had the juristiction to do something like that, I did think they could appeal the suspensions, but first i've heard of a local judge puting a stay on a suspension, interesting that he's a MN judge and they play detroit this weekend and the talk was Det would get their first win with the two DT out... and I guess the judge claimed he needed "more time to review"..

be real funny if monday he's like "yep, looked it over and the suspensions are fine"

Kris P Lettus 12-06-2008 10:45 PM

It's all about why the NFL kept the fact that Star Caps added a banned substance from the players in question.. Supposedly it was against some Union law..

Dunno..

Giants playing sloppy right now

Boomer 12-07-2008 04:59 PM

Good game from the Falcons and the Saints today. The offense is certainly different with Bush and Thomas, and Shockey when he's on.

Heros Welcome 12-07-2008 05:07 PM

I watched the entire game but WHY would Mike Smith, who I have nothing but respect for all season, PUNT when our defense had proved nothing the entire second half?! They rammed the ball down our throats to no end! You HAVE to go for it on 4th to at least give us a chance!

Once he called for punt, I knew the game was over. Bad call and it costs us a possible win. With the game Matt Ryan had, he should have gotten a win

Splaya 12-07-2008 05:10 PM

So guess who gets to play against Westbrook next week in his Round 1 playoffs next week

I agree with you, but hindsight 20-20. I don't blame him for the call, but I don't agree with it either.

I don't much like wasting the time out on a challenge either. But eh.

THIS IS GETTING OLD...

RBs since the season started:
<strike>Michael Pittman
Anthony Aldridge
Andre Hall
Ryan Torain
Peyton Hillis
Selvin Young</strike>
Tatum Bell
P.J. Pope

ClockShot 12-07-2008 06:55 PM

This is not the year Shanahan strikes gold in the rookie RB.

What's Mike Anderson doing these days?

McLegend 12-07-2008 07:03 PM
