Good job coming back with actual evidence of why Roy Williams is "one of the worst safeties" in the league.

I stand corrected.

I just watched the highlights on NFL.com, and Romo was a full yard past the LOS. LOL come on. The referees were terrible yesterday. I'm not trying to excuse the loss because we still loss on our own accord, by stupid mistakes, but the referees definitely added to it.

I don't know. It was one of the oddest looking passes I have ever seen. In Dallas' defense, I could say:

A) The line of scrimmage was the 15 it appears and just as Romo reaches the 15 and gets rid of the ball, the Giant defender's (Can't tell who it is) arm comes down and blocks his leg. It's tough to see exactly where his leg is at that moment.

and B) It almost looked like as he was in the air, with his foot not yet down, he let go of the ball and then maybe as his foot hit, just pushed it into the air. Don't know if by definition that still counts as an illegal forward pass. I definitely think it is more than debatable. I don't know.

The thing I hate though is when people come out with something that really has nothing to do with the skill involved in playing football and try to say their team lost because of it, ignoring the fact that, skill-wise, they were outplayed on the given play or whatever. (I'm not saying you did that. You actually admitted it was on your own accord, so I don't lump you in with those people or anything.. the play just got me thinking about it.)

Like... on that play Romo did an excellent job avoiding the sack and then getting the ball to Curtis just before taking the hit. He showed great SKILL on the play. Someone in the Giant's secondary fucked up, maybe thinking Romo was sacked. That was a bad play by that guy. On that play, Dallas outplayed the Giants and scored a touchdown because of it.

But you know there's some people who would try to say they lost because Romo may have gone a fraction of a yard beyond a certain spot on the field. It's football. You can't pick some random little thing and try to blow it up. The fact that Dallas outplayed them so much on that drive should not be tainted at all because of something so small. It comes down to "letting them play".

Because people like are you will all be leaving at the same time and it will take about fifteen hours for everyone to leave the stadium.

Uh since I drove 100+ miles to see it and it takes over an hour to get out of there, yeah.

Yeah Romo is definitely a great player, and is awesome at evading the rush and making things happen. This sucks obviously because we will have to play him for years to come but eh. I think if the ball is past the LOS it is illegal. I've watched the play several times, he was at the 14 when he threw it, the LOS was the 15. In hindsight it doesn't really matter, I'm trying to point out the terrible officiating over the weekend which apparently affected more than just the Giants/Cowboys game.

MTH15 11-13-2007 03:46 PM

Falcons need to win like 7 straight to go to the playoffs.

Yes but it is a privilage to go to a game.. Millions of fans never get the oppertunity..

I think it's retarded to leave early..

SammyG 11-13-2007 04:34 PM

Bet you feel real proud of wearing that Saints shirt.

Kris P Lettus 11-13-2007 04:45 PM

Considering I wear a Saints shirts like 6 days a week, I felt pretty normal..

Evil Vito 11-13-2007 09:07 PM

Yeah that Romo illegal forward pass really pissed me off. Couldn't believe Coughlin didn't challenge it.

But what really sucked was that not even the people at Giants Stadium got a second look. They used to show plays both good and bad...but now they only show replays that are positive for the Giants. Lame.

the whole body has to be across the line, which it was.

That play aside, Giants cost themselves the game. Eli needed to step up and he didn't, and the defense couldn't pressure Romo. The penalties are just extra.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-13-2007 09:26 PM

Giants will be knocked out in the first round of the playoffs

Gonzo 11-13-2007 10:04 PM

If we play like we did against the Cowboys then yes, I agree.

Kris P Lettus 11-14-2007 11:31 AM

Dwight Freeney is out for the year with that foot injury..

RP 11-14-2007 01:36 PM

yah pretty much GG New England. Thats just too much now. Freeney, Harrison, Kiaho, Hagler, Morris, Gonzales, Clark, Ugoh, Diem, Pretty much 3 of our Oline is gone right now.

GG New England

Ninti the Mad 11-14-2007 03:48 PM

COWBOYS

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-14-2007 04:57 PM

All of guys are expected back though aren't they (well except for Freeney)

RP 11-14-2007 05:06 PM

not sure about Harrison either. Morris is out for the year. McFarland was lost in training camp. Hagler and Ugoh have neck injuries. Clark has a concussion. Raheem Brock has a neck injury and Gonzales is out for like 4 weeks with a dislocated thumb.

Its pretty funny when i think about it.

Kris P Lettus 11-14-2007 05:10 PM

Ricky Williams is going to be reinstated and will play for the Phins..

weather vane 11-14-2007 05:15 PM

RP 11-14-2007 08:17 PM

I took the Bills. I think they'll pull it off.

SammyG 11-14-2007 08:24 PM

Hanso Amore 11-14-2007 08:43 PM

Honestly I dont think it will happen, but I could see it. Classic Spoiler game. Without Lynch thoigh, who is 90 percent of the offense, not a chance

VonErichLives 11-15-2007 05:19 PM

Without Lynch, no chance... w/ Lynch I doubt it but wouldn't shock me.

SammyG 11-15-2007 05:24 PM

Gonna get that 2nd win on Sunday, wooo
