Seattle going to give this game away......... Why is Seattle so bad this year. Arg

Emperor Smeat 11-01-2015 07:29 PM

Got rid of too many good players especially on offense. Got Graham thinking he'd be great but instead he doesn't really fit in the system there. Wilson has regressed a bit but could be due to the player's they lost on the O-line as well.

If the Cowboys go winless over a 2 month span without Romo and Giants and Eagles can't pull away and end up losing the division, it would be the greatest thing in the history of the world.

Am I crazy to think atv2-6 the Ravens could still make the playoffs given the 3 best AFC wild card contenders are the 4-3 Jets and Raiders and 4-4 Steelers who they beat? I dunno

screech 11-02-2015 10:51 AM

I like to look at the bright side, but I'm not buying that right now. Flacco has made some awful decisions that led to drive/game-killing interceptions. Plus the defense would probably get wrecked by a college team at this point.

Nothing is really clicking and I'm not sure how it could be fixed.

Damonte Moore keeps getting these unnecessary roughness penalties, which shows undiscipline. That goes all the way to the top.

Took a few weeks, but Denver finally figured it out.

Mmmmmmmmmmm. Broncos picked up Vernon Davis from the Niners for a couple late round picks in 2016 and 2017.

Not a bad grab to fill TE hole with a veteran. But, now I gotta wonder why Elway didn't pony up the cash to retain Julius Thomas during the offseason?

Ruien 11-02-2015 10:03 PM

Because he went for a shit ton of money they needed elsewhere.

It's been a good move so far. He's been injured and crap this year. If you paid him he'd have been paid to do nothing.

#1-norm-fan 11-02-2015 11:38 PM

Plus Peyton's knack for making sub-par receivers look great over the years probably made him feel like he could plug anyone in and splurge elsewhere.

I dunno. I'm going to the rams game which is probably going to be difficult as will the KC game.., Seattle isn't as scary of a game especially at home. That Bengals game shouldnt matter to the Bengals one way or the other because they play Denver the week before which should decide the 2 seed and loser gets 3 seed.

Colts Offensive Coordinator has been fired by the drunk, drug abuser loser who hired him.

Emperor Smeat 11-03-2015 07:36 PM

According to the Colts correspondent for Fox Sports, whole coaching staff is likely getting the axe after the season. Maybe even some in management since it was teased to be a comical level of dysfunction going on there.

Chuck Pagano already teased he's gone after this season regardless how it goes because he can't stand the GM anymore.

Waiting for the press conference where Jerry stands by his boy

road doggy dogg 11-06-2015 04:35 PM

So this is an odd one here.

While looking up recent events to become even more enraged over the NFL, I tried to do a CROSS-REFERENCE of DeAngelo Williams and Greg Hardy; Williams was recently fined for a uniform violation for wearing TOO MUCH PINK OMG because his mother passed away from breast cancer last year, and Greg Hardy is, well, yeah. So while looking up the two to see if anyone else had made an appropriately cynical commentary on the two, I found a really interesting thing.

Last year when Williams' mom died, nobody from the entire Panthers organization (where he spent 9 years of his career/life) showed up to the funeral. Except one person.

Greg Hardy.

The fuck? He's supposed to be a heel. Heels don't do that!

Emperor Smeat 11-06-2015 05:20 PM

He could still nail Tony Romo with a chair shot once Romo returns to get back some heel heat. Maybe even say he did it for The Eli.

Simple Fan 11-06-2015 05:31 PM

He fucked up and has done his time now let him play. Ray Rice should have a job too in my opinion.

screech 11-06-2015 07:08 PM

Any punishment for Hardy would have to come from the Cowboys now, right?

Emperor Smeat 11-06-2015 07:54 PM

Yeup unless Goodell tried to pull another "Ray Rice" by saying something about not knowing about all the details or Hardy lying to them during any talks they had.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-06-2015 08:10 PM

A team can't suspend a player for stuff that happened before he was a player. There was no contract and thus nothing connecting them to the incident.

Simple Fan 11-06-2015 09:50 PM

Jerry Jones has come out and said he didn't see the photos before they signed him but I don't see why it would matter.

They've shown brief signs in the past but this year has been great for them as a possible building block for the future. They have enough talent but just need a couple more years to be a possible good-to-great team.

Even though mathematically it would have helped the Giants more for Dallas to win, I really don't want Romo to come back with a chance for Dallas to steal the division. Then again the division is so poor that they may still have an outside shot despite all of the losing.

Evil Vito 11-09-2015 09:33 AM

Of course the way things are going now, Week 17 will come down to Eagles/Giants for the division, and since it's currently shaping up to be the tightest playoff race despite the division being dogshit, I could easily see it getting bumped up into primetime.

Giants haven't beaten the Eagles in primetime since 2008. And since that game took place, the Giants have lost 12 of 15 meetings to Philly.

So yeah...most likely the entire season's gonna boil down to their 4th quarter idiocy in Dallas week 1 with their Week 2 meltdown vs. ATL not far behind.

#1-norm-fan 11-09-2015 06:38 PM

I honestly doubt that Dallas can win the division at this point even with Romo coming back in 2 weeks. Winning every game he plays is a tall order but even then, Philly and the Giants would have to go .500 down the stretch. And yes, I'm already projecting a loss in Tampa next week. I get the feeling this team without Romo is just built to lose regardless of the opponent.

#1-norm-fan 11-09-2015 07:51 PM

Wes Welker to the Rams. Seems like a pretty perfect fit. Should have happened a long time ago.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-09-2015 08:19 PM

Yep, cause beating your wife is worse than allegedly deflating a ball or filming people on the sideline when it was legal to do so before.

Arbitrary rules are more important than the rule of law? There's no such thing as the integrity of the game with Roger Gooddell in control of shit.

screech 11-09-2015 10:42 PM

It was illegal to film opponents when the Patriots got caught doing it. That's why they're cheaters and why they were punished for it. That it was legal previously is irrelevant.

screech 11-09-2015 10:46 PM

And if you're still upset or confused over how the NFL decides punishments, you haven't been paying attention. Josh Gordon lost half a year (well a year and a half after this year, I guess) for smoking weed. Greg Hardy nearly killed a woman and missed 4 games.

It's a bunch of nonsense and likely will be until there's some fresh blood up top.

screech 11-09-2015 10:51 PM

Expected the Chargers to run away with this for some reason. Then again, no Allen and their defense has been porous lately.

Emperor Smeat 11-10-2015 05:40 PM

Colts currently dealing with some backlash regarding their injury reports with Andrew Luck this season. Supposedly they either downplayed how serious he's been hurt to the media or been purposely hiding info that would be against the rules.

NFL currently investigating those reports to find out if the team was hiding how serious Luck was hurt and if it played a role in his recent injury.
